VBScript to send emails on a service

Hi all

I was wondering, if there's a VBScript that I could use it send me an email when a particular service stops? I looked on the Net and can't really find anything.

Basically, I have a service that works all night and will run all day, and if randomly, it hangs or stops, I want to know about this e-mail. I want that to happen automatically.

P.s. I am a beginner in the script, so be easy on me!

Thank you
Damian

  • Internet service provider could not help send emails in Windows Live.

Windows Live has been works well for a few years, but now I cannot send emails.  Verio is my Internet provider and they couldn't help me.  They seem to think that it is a Windows problem.  I can receive ok.

Your web address is set to smtp.address.com (note the smtp prefix)? (Verio Outlook instructions, can be changed for Live Mail - http://supportcenter.verio.com/KB/questions.php?questionid=507). It depends on what account you have, etc...

I have a double secure gmail account but I've created a one-time registration for this customer password

    Hi Gabriele Vidali,

I used the service secured by double on my Gmail account and creates a unique password for the mail app for my Firefox OS device with flame v2.0.

I was able to send and receive emails from my account double-secure Gmail without any problem. I got no error when sending email, and Auto Sync worked correctly.

Where did you download the 2.1 version of?

I suggest rolling back your flame for at least version 2.0 device. The version you are currently using is still very unstable, and it is still actively underway, is not uncommon that the features and applications will break.

Version 2.1 is intended to be feature complete on 13 October and then there is still work of stabilization and optimization is done on this. Mozilla code on version 2.1 of the Firefox operating system is scheduled to be complete Code on 21 November 2014 - so there is still a lot of work to do on this version. =)

I hope this information is useful. Please let us know if you have any further questions send and synchronization of your e-mails on more stable versions of Firefox OS.

    Thank you

  • Unable to send emails, SMPT can not connect to the server

I use the latest version of the EL CAPTAIN 10.11.04, just updated software, and I can not send my emails is to show only SMTP error can not connect to the server.

I can receive emails, but cannot send emails. I deleted the account and reinstalled it once again changed the SMTP Port 25, 465, 993 trying all of them.

Please advice, or guide me what I am doing wrong, or what I can do to fix this error.

Please take each of the following steps that you have already tried, tests after each of them. Back up all data before making any changes.

    Step 1

In the Mail menu bar, select

    ▹ Connection Doctor window

In the window that opens, double-click on behalf of SMTP (outgoing mail) problem. it. another window opens, displaying the list of all outgoing mail accounts. Choose the one that you clicked.

Select the Advanced tab in the settings for the account and check the box marked

Automatically detect and maintain the account settings

If it is not already done.

If there is more than one account of the problem, repeat. Close the window and save the changes.

    Step 2

Open again the list of SMTP servers. Note the problem server settings, then click the sign button less to delete and confirm. Click on the sign more and recreate the account with the same settings.

If you use Gmail, remove the account completely in the preferences panel accounts Internet and re-create it. The option "detect and maintain" must be selected in advanced settings for the incoming mail account.

Messages will be again synchronized with the server automatically. Which can last for hours if the mailboxes are very large.

    Step 3

Quit Mail runs. Launch the Keychain Access app and enter the name of the server of mail out in the search box. For example, if you use Gmail, enter

    SMTP.gmail.com

Make a note of the password, and then delete the keychain items. The next time Mail connects to the server, it will prompt for the password. Enter and save the password in the keychain.

    Step 4

If you use Gmail, sign in to your account on the site, and in the account settings, click the "Sign-in and security." There should be an option somewhere on the page to "allow applications that are less safe." Enable this option and save the change. Note: I don't use Gmail and I have not tested this solution myself. If it does not, either make you on Google user forums for help, stop trying to use Gmail with the e-mail, or just stop using Gmail altogether (strongly recommended).

The mail server can use a form low, obsolete encryption for secure communications with customers. Recent versions of Mac OS X has changed the behavior of Mail and other applications so that they no longer tolerate low security.

Log on to the e-mail account on the website and see if there is a security setting, you can change. I can't be more specific. Refer to the documentation of the service provider.

If there is no adjustment, convince the upgrade of server securityserver administrator. He or she must do it anyway. Low security affects all customers, not only Mac users.

Otherwise, you have all the right options to continue to use Mail with the service. You can disable SSL in the Advanced account settings, but that is very dangerous and may not work at all.

You might be able to get a more flexible mail client, such as "Thunderbird", to accept the low security, or perhaps you can access the account via webmail.

Ideally, you should switch to a provider of postal services better. You would not have this problem with a well-run service. The risk of weak SSL are known for a long time, and to competent server administrators have already taken the simple steps are sufficient to avoid these risks.

  • Cannot send email from my iPad

    • I use iOS 9.2.1 and cannot send emails with her when I'm at our summer home. I can receive the mail, but cannot send. I get this message: cannot send e-mail. The address of the sender was rejected by the server. I added a new e-mail account to correspond with the parameters provided by our internet service provider. I can't make it work.

Have you tried to go into the settings, messages, contacts and calendar, delete the email account and then add again?

  • I never had trouble with my server out log out before. I'm travelling and my first day I can receive but not send mail. I went through all of the suggestions of support, nothing helps. I can not send emails. I El Capitan on my Mac

I have a macbook of El Capitan and my first day on vacation to halfway around the world, I can receive but not send emails. I had a conversation with my provider and all the settings, usernames and passwords are correct. I tried everything I read so far related to this topic from Apple and I can not send. Any other suggestions?

What happened to me several times over the years, as different local networks may not connect in order to SEND email but without reception problems.

My solution is to always use the WEBMAIL service belonging to the service of your email provider... be it Apple or Blueyonder, or anyone.

Occasionally, a national internet service - for example; the Sultanate of Oman, in my experience - can refuse to deal with mail because the discussion on a particular topic is not permitted in the jurisdiction of that country, but it is very rarely the problem. Try just using the webmail online pages - for example; webmail service to iCloud in the case of an Apple (.mac, .me, .icloud) email address - and who usually works for me, anyway.

What program of e-mail that you use or sign in a service such as Windows Live Mail Webmail?

  • Error: "some errors have occurred during the processing of requested tasks". Sending emails from Outlook Express

Original title: Repetitivet sending emails from Outlook Express

When sending emails from my Outlook Express , the following occurs:

    (1) as usual, send the message falls into my Outbox and begins to be sent.

    (2) when the message was sent, I get a message that "some errors occurred while processing requested tasks" but no actual errors are displayed.

    (3) the sent items folder does not show that a message has been sent... but a message has been sent.

    (4) the original message remains in my Outbox and will be sent over and over again.

As you can imagine, it's a very embarrassing problem.  All suggestions are welcome, but please keep the instructions clear and simple.

    Hello

Windows XP Service Pack 2 is installed on your computer? To work on this question, see these steps.

It seems that there is a corruption of dbx file.

I suggest you go over your messages out of the Inbox, and then create new folders Outbox and sent items after you move the messages you want to save to a local folder that you create.

    Reference:

    (a) click onTools

    (b) thenOptions

    (c) selectMaintenance

    (d) Record Store will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files.

    (e) Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste to start and select run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden.

To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders

    Reference:

    (a) clickStart

    (b) Control Panel

    (c) Folder Options icon

    (d) notice, or in Windows Explorer

    (e) Tools

    (f) the Folder Options

    ( viewof g).

With Outlook Express closed, find the DBX files for the items in the Outbox and sent and delete them. New ones will be created automatically when you open Outlook Express.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

    Reference:

    (a) clickOutlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open.

    (b) click onthe file

    (c) work offline (or double click working online in the status bar).

    (d) file

    (e) file

    (f) compact all folders. Wait for the compaction to complete.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend about a300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

Information on the maximum size of the .dbx files that are used by Outlook Express:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/?kbid=903095

    Compact often as specified above.

    Reference:

    (a) in the Tools

    (b) selectOptions

    (c) maintenance:

    (d) uncheck Compact messages in the background and leave it unchecked. (N/a if running XP/SP2).

    And backup often.

  • Unable to send email in Outlook Express 6 all of a sudden.

Unable to send email in Outlook Express 6 all of a sudden.  I am running Windows XP.  All of a sudden one day I was not able to send e-mail, but I can receive. When this happened, I got "an unknown error has occurred. "" Account: 'Alan ntl', server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, server response: ' 421 aamtaout04 - winn.ispmail.ntl.com connection refused [82.26.72.74] ', Port: 465, secure (SSL): Yes, Server error: 421, error number: 0x800CCC67.

However after reading your answers of Oct 2010 I changed port 587 and got "the connection to the server failed. Account: 'Alan ntl', server: 'smtp.ntlworld.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 587, secure (SSL): Yes, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E "... Please help

It is highly unlikely that removing OE and add it again will help it.

The message "connection refused" says unambiguously that the server aamtaout04 - winn.ispmail.ntl.com does not accept connections on port 465.  So either you have the wrong specified server, you have the wrong port specified or the server actually has a problem, despite what tells you the mail service provider.
