• vRealize Orchestrator stock adapter for vCops

  I wanted to reach out and see if someone of you all use the vRealize Orchestrator stock adapter for the vRO living vCops and vCops.  vRO 6.0.3 works out of the box with this solution, but I am fighting to get vRO7 to work and are passed to the 'cannot find getvcuuid workflow, full authentication required.

  Any person using this solution with vRO7 and if so how did you fact to work?

  I'm not using this card, but I've seen similar errors on full authentication is required in environments where:

  • vRO is configured with LDAP authentication not; That is to say. SSO or vIDM
  • the client code attempts to call the vRO REST API using Basic authentication via user/password name.

  If your setting of the vRO 7 corresponds to these conditions, pourriez you open the /etc/vco/app-server/vmo.properties file and check if there is a property named com.vmware.o11n.sso.basic - authentication.enabled? This property is required for basic authentication work on SSO/vIDM

  So, if your do not have this property, could you add the following line to the /etc/vco/app-server/vmo.properties file, restart the server from vRO (vco-Server service restart) and check if the adapter works now?

  com.vmware.o11n.sso.basic-authentication.enabled=true
  

• ERPi and FDM for 11.1.2.2 - adapter Source?

  Could you please help with the following questions concerning the ERPi and FDM for 11.1.2.2

  1. in general, what is a source adapter used for?

  2 in FDM installation package, there is an adapter (ERPI-END-E) for the ERP Integrator.
  I would like to clarify if my interpretation below is correct or not.
  My understanding is that this adapter allows automation of the ERPi data the performance rules of load in the application of FDM, which means that we can launch start the ERPi of planned work of FDM data loading State.

  1 Classic source FDM adapters are used to import data from the source system native support (EBS, SAP, ERPI) instead of files or databases. Let´s say that in some how the extraction process is already packed so you can extract the source system that the adapter don't

  2. you are right, ERPI is a product of the transition between the classical FDM and FDMEE (11.1.2.3), there are some features missing in ERPI FDM. Therefore, you had to use a mixture of ERPI and FDM in order to get full functionality. You use ERPI to extract the data and FDM to treat it (scripts, validation intersection report, etc.).

  11.1.2.3, gap is still smaller than that now we have scripts, report of validation of intersection and other features in FDMEE 11.1.2.3 (re-branded ERPI). The classic source of the FDM adapter still exists.

  In 11.1.2.4, as classical FDM is not available more-> no adapter source more :-)

• NetApp:SNAPDrive and SNAPManager for Exchange on an RDM

  I found an archived discussion that was about two years old, so I thought I have this back. I want to use Netapp SnapDrive one and SNAPManager for Exchange on a physical RDM. All points of the documentation using the initiator iSCSI from inside the virtual machine, but I have iSCSI HBA and so is not an option. Any suggestions?

The latest version of SnapDrive one which is version 6.2 now supports physical RDMs in addition to iSCSI initiator of s/w inside comments. • Capacity planning: how to configure thresholds and installation for specific measure alets

  I need some help/suggestions to set thresholds and alerts for settings storage.

  What I am doing?

  1. create a threshold for adapter EMC attributes as IOs, IOs read write

  2 alert if the value is less than or greater than the configured threshold

  What I've done so far?

  1. create a new attribute on page vcops-custom packages

  vcops panel-> environment-> configuration-> atribute packages

  Here are the properties of the attribute.

  Attribute name of the Package: EMC storage processor

  Type of adapter: adapter for EMC

  Resource type: SP

  Attributes configured on the storage processor

  Disc: Written (e/s)

  Selected settings are attached a screenshot.

I use Windows 2008 R2 SP1, platform and installation of program says this installer is 32-bit application and can not continue on the 64-bit version. The binaries are VMware-vcops-viewadapter - 1.0.1 - 855773.exe. Someone facing the same problem?

After updating downlaoded, whenever I start my computer it say compatibility assistant this app is not working properly try to reinstall Check Point virtual network adapter for SSL Network Extender. Why do I get this notice? I have no problem getting on the internet. I have a modem and a router that work well with all my devices. I use an ethernet cable, nothing has changed in addition to the recommended update.

  Unfortunately I didn't find out who is compatible with your device, but there are two universal adapters (15 to 19 volts). In my opinion, you must use this with 15 volts.
