• Take the first vcp 410 review then training for vsphere 4.1

  Hi all

  I have 5 years hands on experience in field of VMware. I want to take the first VCP 410 review and formal training.

  My doubts, it's if I passed the exam, should I expect at least some reports saying that you went into vcp 410 as it or what evidence should get after I took the vcp-410 exam (could possibly want someone attah sample report like that).

  Why I ask? because I'm going to a formal training through my company after two months before I finished the atleast certifiation will be added benefits for me in my customer to place as well in my professional career, also think that the next level of VMware certifications.

  You can meet the requirements of secure Channel in any order. So, first take the exam if you want, but as others have said you won't get a VCP, thus so you won't have no official recognition or paperwork VMware until you have taken the training as well.

  If you don't pass the test, I would recommend that you attend to the vSphere: Troubleshooting courses - it also qualifies for the VCP certification and should learn you a lot more than the vSphere: install configure manage course given your experience.

• VCP first review can follow a training

  Hi all

  I am new to this community, so please forgive me if I post this question in the wrong section.

  I want to be certified secure Channel, but knowledge must attend class and then take the exam to get licensed for VCP. I also had some information, you can take the exam without training but you are not get Certification VCP. So here's my question.

  Can I give review first and then sit in training after so I'll get my VCP Certification. I ask this question because I need to take the inside review next 15 days, but somehow the class in my area is not available. He is so kind I have the exam first & pass, then I will attend classroom training, so I'll get my VCP Certification. or I need to re - take review after my training. I am not certified secure Channel right now. So I do need training for VCP-410 exam.

  I know its a strange question. But because of the last minutes all the classrooms in my area are filled. However online training is an option for me. but I would like to be trained in the classroom only.

• Eligability sit VCP 5 review

  Hello

  I hope it's a real quick question for someone.

  I'm looking to sit my VCP 5 in the near future. The question I have, is what concerns my eligability to write the exam.

  I did ICM 4 among other courses. I had however failed the test. Sitting the new 2 day whats course would meet the requirements to sit my VCP 5?

  I did VMware 4 training in 2011, last year, but I don't have time for her appearances in the review. but now I try to get the VCP certification so I can't review VCP5? or I have to first pass the VCP4?

  The only PVC, you can get is VCP 4 without taking other classes - the VCP 410 review is always offered by Pearson/view.

  Hi I'm studying for my vcp 5 review I was wondering if someone could give an example of why you should use rdm in virtual mode instead of just using vmdk disks? I see no advantage

  I can't think of a use case for RDM mode virtual, other than a Custer-in-a-Box (MSCS) or an existing LUN that cannot be converted for whatever reasons, but must be instantaneous. RDM had on VMFS performance benefits in the past and which could have been a case of use, but with current versions, this advantage has disappeared.

  Based on what I read defend on the VCDX 4 track is always a possibility until the VCP4 exam goes. Can anyone confirm this? Also any word of the end of life on the follow-up to VCP 4/review.

  There are always discussions about the lifecycle of VMware exams! However, no timetable end of LIFE to VCDX4-DCV has been finalized now. I don't know about the availability of VCDX4-VTC in 2014 until we are ready to publish the VCDX Design defence calendar for 2014. So I can't make any promises on PEX next year.

  It is a dynamic environment, so the only sure thing is change and progress!

• Vshpere 5 exam and what traing I should take?

  I recently spent VCP 5 review and ready to go for training. I see that the training is available is "install, configure and Mange V5.1" will this complete filling of the requirements for certification VCP 5.0, I don't think that there is training available for 5.

  Please guide me what certification I need to go next, in this sense and as VCP is mandatory to attend the authorized class or if I can prepare for this exam my self?

• VCP - DV 5 2.6 Blueprint review

  I recently had the VMware vSphere: install, configure, manage the class for ESXi 5.1.   I am now ready to start studying for the VCP.  I have downloaded v2.1 plan before I went to class and earlier saw v2.6.  I noticed a few differences that I was curious about and he hoped someone could help me.

  (1) none of the links to the vmware documentation work.  Is it because you can study the version 5.0 or 5.1 vmware documentation to study?

  (2) two articles where abducted between v2.1 and v2.6 - formerly objectives 3.2 "configure storage Virtual Appliance for vSphere" and 5.5 "backup and restore of Virtual Machines.  Does this mean that I don't need to study these subjects?  I ask because 5.5 Instant cutlery, which seems to me important.

  Yes the review articles are made agnostic everywhere in 5.0 and 5.1 for the updates of the action plan reflect that--study what is in the current action plan by using the software and the documentation for each version.

• There will be a review to become a VCP 5.1?

  Last December, I upgraded to VCP5 and I wonder if there is a new review / certification for 5.1 or if my VCP5 covers me up to version 6 fate.

  As if I need to upgrade to 5.1 I would do during the period of grace if I could avoid having to take the who's new course again.

  VCP exams/certificates are provided only for major releases (VCP3, VCP4, VCP5,...) So don't worry, you are always up to date.
