  If you hold down the option key by clicking on the icon of your airport. You should get an option to run network diagnostics. You could also try removing the network of Macbook Air and add it again. If by chance you are using bluetooth, it could be a problem with switching in the router. The bluetooth works on 2.4 GHZ. Configuration of the router to run on 5 GHz could help. Or change the channels.

  I bought a Studio XPS 8100 in late 2010 at a Best Buy store. It came with 4 cylinders of 2GB 1066Ghz (each cylinder), adding up to a total of 8GB spread on 4Slots, all of a sudden one of the slot (Slot 2 to be precise) Ram began to fail, so computer would beep to reveal no ram or sometimes ram write failure etc. So, to avoid problems with this slot (Slot 2), I got rid of all four locations of 2 GB and wanted to replace them with the following ram: "(Kingston HyperX FURY 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 CL9 DIMM quantité = 2 d'ajouter jusqu'à 8Go en Kit) ', but my computer is beeping not revealing no ram detected." Now, according to the Studio XPS manual, the configuration can be either Ghz 1066 or 1333 Ghz as long ram DDR3 of Ram.

  I would like to know why my new 8 GB kit (2x4gb 1333 Ghz) does not work with my computer Studio XPS 8100? RAM is correctly inserted on the slot 1 and 3 (I even tried different slot combinations).

  If you want your week should begin with Sunday not to use "WW" (according to NLS_TERRITORY), instead use 'IW', it doesn't depend of parameter nls.

• Support for song in last OR-IMAQdx data

  Vision Acquisition software, March 2010 edition, came with a nice novelty. Supported data piece for GigE Vision cameras, point 3.6 IMAQdx. This is a feature I've been waiting for for a while, so I gave it a try with my camera Basler Runner. I put in a few comments/questions:

  • I have found no documentation for the novelty. Is there something there? Document, help file, example?
  • I put the attribute 'Chunk Mode' active through MAX. However, the enum "Segment selector" attribute is empty and enum values are filled after Chunk Mode is turned on and the camera is re - found by MAX. But MAX will not let you save the attribute 'Active Chunk Mode' unless 'Chunk' set to a valid value - it shows the error 'attribute out of reach. " To get out of this circle without end, I had to manually modify the CIM and define 'Chunk Active Mode'. That done, I could now "Segment selector" for example "timestamp" by MAX and thus activate the piece of timestamp.
  • In a loop of image in LabVIEW acquisition, I have read custom data attached to the IMAQ Image from IMAQdx get Image. There are only two keys here, "IMAQdxActualHeight" and "IMAQdxLostPackets". No timestamp. So, I went back to MAX and off "active Chunk Mode. After the re-run of the loop of the acquisition, now the piece of the timestamp was in fact among the custom data - both keys "IMAQdxTimestampHigh" and "IMAQdxTimestampLow". It's a little weird that the song data are available only when the 'active Chunk Mode' is set to OFF. However, the data contained in the keys "IMAQdxTimestampHigh" and "IMAQdxTimestampLow" are perfectly OK, just the timestamps of image that I always wanted to have.
  • Having experienced the weird behavior of the active 'Chunk Mode' attribute, I turned the attribute back and tried to adjust the second new attribute "Chunk Data active decoding". In this case, I had a lot of new keys in the custom data from the image. Among them, also "IMAQdxChunkData_CameraAttributes::ChunkData:ChunkTimestamp". Which seems to be what I needed. In any case, after his conversion to the type U64, this key gives me values that I do not exactly understand. They are somehow related to the current timestamp, but I am not able to decode the relationship.

  To summarize, it looks like the novelty is here and providing results. But a lot of things seems to be not working "as planned", forcing me to use the really nasty workarounds. Or maybe I am doing something wrong. I can't know when there is no documentation.

  Sorry you had to find out the hard way that the documentation is a bit 'lack' of this new feature. I hope that this will be fixed in the next version...

  I'll try to explain how things work and answer your questions along the way

  Song data must be implemented and enabled in two places: the camera and the driver.

  How it is activated on the camera picture is (now) very specific seller. Some providers may enable by default, most need to be activated manually. I don't know if I've seen the issue you see with the "Segment selector" function on the camera of Basler. The way it should work is that after activating "Chunk Mode active", would then toggle the "segment selector" through each available value and to enable or disable this feature to be included in the block sends data to the camera. You should not need to directly modify the CIM... If you simply switch the Active Mode to 'true' segment, move the "segment selector" a valid value and then click on save, it does not work?

  After you enable the various components of the song you want in the camera data, you then go to the 'Chunk Data decoding Enabled' attribute of IMAQdx and set it to true. This will cause IMAQdx decode data piece that is present from the camera and put it in the custom data to the image of the Vision. That's what you see when you see all custom data with the key starting with 'IMAQdxChunkData_ '. The name that follows is the name of the song data element (specified in the XML as attributes, so they live in the namespace attribute).

  Now, the two keys to custom data that you were called 'IMAQdxTimestampHigh' and 'IMAQdxTimestampLow' are actually NOT given piece. They are data that is present in the charge of the standard image of a GigE camera. We are actually still those revenues since the first version of IMAQdx with GigE Vision supports. These should match exactly the same values that you will receive if you query the 'IMAQdxChunkData_CameraAttributes::ChunkData:ChunkTimestamp' on a device of Basler. Interestingly, however, you discovered already, when the song sending on the camera data are enabled, these integrated timestamps will disappear. This is because in the version 1.0 x GigE Vision, song data package format specification did not have the same fields in the data that is in charge of the base image. The idea was that, once you have activated the data segment, you need to get all these areas through song data. In the new version of the specification GigE Vision (which is not yet implemented by IMAQdx and maybe not on all cameras still), there is a combined format that allows the use of the song with the standard image information data (like parking meters, height of the image, etc.) without needing them to be sent as song explicit data elements. However, for all purposes, practices, cameras should allow you to activate the exact same fields missing load of the image and present them as a piece of data instead.

• Am curious to know why XP Pro crashed and reinstall the will does not activate

  Have a system that ran XP Pro for a couple of years without problem. Software and license (product key) was purchased online, downloaded and burned to CD. Once installed, OS signals like SP3 XP Pro Version 2002. First installation and activation years was fine. Reinstalling/reactivating later a year later due to a failure of the drive was fine. System had presented a Genuine Advantage test and been patched now with no problems. Last week we had errors saying the OS was not authentic and we could be a victim of a counterfeit. System crashed and when restarting it gets to the login screen, but if the connection is attempted the desktop and in a minute or 2 the system restarts and goes in a loop of reboot, never load the new OS. Start in safe mode gets through the initial steps, but after the start of files loading the system restarts and loops. No configuration of the software/hardware/don't change in recent months and no unusual entry in case do not connect up to 2 days before the accident. No indication of hardware problem and no cases of virus or malware of MS Security Essentials. I tried repair OS, no help. Now have wiped the hard drive and tried to reinstall the operating system (computer, no change) and it will reinstall correctly by using the original product key, but will not activate. Reports as not a valid product key. Activation of the phone I tried and it will activate not there either; reports as invalid product. Considered we could have actually gotten pirated OS, but I'm puzzled why, if the software was fake, the system would work very well for if long including product activation earlier and passes test Genuine Advantage, then suddenly crash, cause errors 'potential infringement' and do not allow for reactivation. Thought at some point, the system has had virus/malware issue, but this does not explain why the relocation after the failure of the drive fails to activate. System critical to the needs of companies and has been replaced so no urgency to correct but I'm very curious to know what might happen. Comments or suggestions would be welcome. Thank you!!

  I checked the key used, and here's the information that my tool tells me about the key:
  (1) version of Windows XP Pro MSDN
  (2) is blocked Activation (reason: abuse)
  (3) no Validation blocked
  (4) shows no sign that it is a basic time license (TBL)
  (5) 31 attempts to activation
  (6) 17 total Activations
  (7) first activation on 2010-08-03
  (7) last Activation successful 13/04/2010
  (8) date of the first activation has been blocked 13/01/2011 (note: this is not necessarily the day, the block has been applied, just the first attempt of activation which is refused due to the block)

  It is d ' attribute of strangeness between this key and "information" which include the Genuine Advantage you said.

  First of all, it's a MSDN license which means that someone can not use the key unless you have an MSDN subscription.

  Then, the key is blocked but not blocked Activation Validation.  It's unusual because usually, if an MSDN key is proved have been hacked (sold outside it's allowed) would be blocked the key activation and Validation.

  In this particular case, it seems that the key has been blocked because of too many activations Activation (on computers with different hardware ID, which usually means different computers) in a short period of time.

  As for the key being a limited time license, which makes no sense.
  (1) I don't see that a MSDN key would be time limited.
  (2) if the key has been blocked due to it having expired, then the reason for the block would be expired are not abusing.
  (3) the key was first activated in March 2010 and the person you talked to said that the key expired a week (i.e. 2011) there. Limited time Licenses are generally used to try before you buy things and I don't know any license based on the time that a period of over one year (16 months to be exact).

  I am convinced that the person that you talked to was wrong that this key was a limited time license.

  My assessment of the information I have available suggests that the key was actually blocked in 2010 due to excessive activation in a short period of time.  I say this because, shows the history of activation:
  (1) first activation in 08/03/2010
  (2) last activation successful 13/04/2010
  (3) 17 total Activations

  This shows that the key has been used 17 times, on 16 different computers, in a little over a period of a month. This does not seem excessive. and strongly suggests that the key has been blocked for this reason, in April 2010. You just didn't notice the block until the end of 2011.

  However, even if the current issue was caused probably by a number excessive activations (which can be fixed by asking that the key be unlocked) the real problem comes from the fact that the key is a licensed MSDN.  The permits required that any key from an MSDN subscription (what to do with all the MSDN keys) can be used by the owner of the MSDN subscription. If you do not have the MSDN subscription that come from this key, you are not allowed to use this key.

  I keep losing internet connection and when I run the troubleshooter, it comes up saying "the default gateway is not available". I have an HP with Intel dv6985se. I was advised to do the following:

  1 Access Device Manager (Control Panel > system and security > system > Device Manager)
  2. expand the network adapters
  3. Select the adapter that you are using (if more than 1 Repeat step 4 to 8 for each adapter)
  4. right click and select Properties
  5 click Advanced
  6. If you have installed Nvidia Ethernet configuration click the button
  7. scroll to the bottom of the list and disable the device sleep on disconnection and receive Side Scaling
  8. save the settings

  I appreciate this help info but none of this applies to my computer has. In my device under 'Network adapters' Manager, I do not have Nvidia, Asus and AMD, which is listed under my network cards is "Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN" and "Realtek RTL8101E Family PCI - E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)".

  The help that I've provided says disabling "Sleep on Disconnect" and "Receive Side Scaling"... or those who are in one of my "adapter properties tab advanced options" for both my Intel and Realtek... no where does say anything about sleep on disconnect or side scaling.

  I was online with HP cat many times and Ive tried the options they have provided that is basically what I've found here but nothing has worked so far! My computer is 1 1/2 old and is preinstalled with Vista 64-bit. Recently, I have completely restored my computer with Windows 7 64 bit, and ever since then, I can't download anything or talk to HP or any kind of help because I lose the connection. Could someone please help me solve this problem... to be frank and honest he pisses me off beyond words that I never had this problem when I'm on Vista!
