  Check patches (adoption-status) without previous state, I applied a fix to help:

  But I got the following error:

  Don't run cleaning or if you want to apply another /hotpatch so you can continue with the current adoption session.

  I have patched in single instance before but never in the CAR with several nodes.
  I have
  dbTier = 2 node RAC database 10.2.0.4
  ApplTier = 2 nodes (ebs R12 rub6)
  should I run adpatch on the two applTier?

  in 2 appl environment, be it records the same patch to the database two times?

  It will be saved once, so if you query AD_BUGS for the patch, you will find an entry.

• CPU patch vs PSU in R12

  Hello:

  Asked me to apply patch PSU April 2014. I just applied CPU January 2014. I thought that we can apply only CPU or power supply. Can I apply PSU?

  We have 12.1.3, 11.2.0.3 on Linux.

  HI: I was read the readme for Patch # 9371120, but do not understand what follows: = 9.  Apply for prior updates.   Excerpt (jar xvf) the new $SRCHOME/webservices/lib/orasaaj.jar update the orasaaj.jar with the 2 new class order of uvf jar files oracle/j2ee/ws/saaj/util/NamespaceStack.class oracle/j2ee/ws/saaj/util/XMLWriter.class use = we don't have $SRCHOME you get a lot for your help.

  We are not the ones got confused of the readme!

  Use the patchsets.sh script, it should tell you the Group of hotfixes you are on for each module, and what is the last group of patches available on Metalink.

• EBS Version 12.2 CUP5 - patches of pre-installation

  Hi people,

  I'm upgrading my current version of BSE 12.1.3 to 12.2.4 referring, "Upgrade Guide reference no.. E48839-02".»

  I did ' apply AD 12.2 update driver (required) "stage which is on page #"3-4 Oracle E-Business Suite Guide upgrade.

  Now I'm going to "apply all the patches (cups) consolidated upgrade (required)" according to guide.

  I followed the DOC ID: 1448102.2.

  According to the MOS DOC, I downloaded "EBS_R12.2_Preinstall_2015_Jun_19.zip". This shows a number of patches that I need to apply with patch 18007406, mode of pre-install.

  I ran the following query on my machine, which shows that most of the products is at the level of the B.3.

  SELECT app_short_name, MAX (patch_level)

  OF apps.ad_patch_driver_minipks

  GROUP BY app_short_name;

  Output:

  My question is:

  (1) do I apply all patches listed by the DOC in mode of pre-installation or only patches which the product is currently available in my system?

  (2) Let's say in my system ("PAY"R12 is at .) PAY. B.3, code level). When I download the patch against the product (i-e: 19730774), it shows that the patch is (Compatible with: R12.) PAY. C, R12.HR_PF. (C) and my current level of PAY product code is "R12. PAY. B.3. So I have to jump these patches that are not available for my current level of code?

  To download the patches one by one is going to be a tedious task you better use a download script (Wget for 12.2 clients Upgrade) provided by note 1448102.2 which will download the patches all pre-installation.

  For the line of code 12.2 is C

  You don't need to apply it as it is already applied in each new installation of EBS 12.1.1.

• A1000 phase takes too long while improving to R12.2.0 to R12.2.4

  I run the patch to upgrade final R12.2.4 (patch # 17919161), and it is currently running phase A1000. Its been more than 10 hours, now it is stuck at the same phase. I installed R12.2.4 a couple of times now, but this is the first time, it takes so long to complete.

  Looking at workers using adctrl, it gives the following result. Anyone know how to speed up this treatment?

  Step 1. Use utility adcrtl to exit all workers to the status "running".

  Step 2. Drop table applsys. FND_INSTALL_PROCESSES

  Step 3. Restart the application of the patch using ADOPTED utiloty with the parameter 'restart = yes ".

  I need suggestions on migration of patch. I must apply all RPC patch file on r12.1.1 for all the module. nearly 40-50 patch must be applied.

  can I migrate all the patch request pre and post request with the main patch.

  and some manual step as post request such as execution one request can be made that all CPP applied patch file.
