  Hello, Microsoft community!

  After that the icon 'Get Windows 10' came, the next thing that happens when I check for updates and windows updates, I click on install. It should display "Download updates" but instead of showing "Download windows 10" after have finished downloading the updates and when you install updates, instead of showing "Installing updates" it showed "Verification requirements". Once, I thought this was actually installing windows 10 even if I don't check in the optional updates, but I've found that is not the case.

  In my taskbar and hidden icons section, I noticed the icon as usual windows update, but it says "Download updates" "Installing windows updates" instead of these notifications windows 10 weird?

• On Mac with 2-step verification endless loop

  I got a new Macbook and all is set up very well, but when I try to buy more storage iCloud, with it being a new computer it asks my password Apple ID, and once the entry not the usual verification code sent to your trusted device. My iPad and iPhone download the application, but the Mac screen never changes to allow to introduce the verification code.  It simply says "enter your password followed by the verification sent to your trusted device code" - when I enter the password he repeats the loop, the sending of a new code of verification for both iPhone & iPad and Mac asks once again my password followed by verification code, but the box for verification code ever...

  Try to do exactly what the message says "enter your password followed by the verification code sent to your device to trust"

  for example, if your password is xyz and the verification code is 123456, type xyz123456 in the password box.

  The newest 'two-step authentication' (not the most "two-step verification") requires that this method of entry on devices running older versions of the operating system. Not sure why this would be the case in your situation, but it's worth a try.

• cDAQ 9171 verification of the calibration

  If the laptop is unable to pass the home screen Toshiba (POST-puissance on self test) then this behavior of the laptop is mainly related to a serious hardware problem.

  If the problem is not related to defective RAM, then other parts like the motherboard (maybe module BIOS EPROM) must be verified... but such verification requires additional special tools and that's why I think it would be a job for a laptop technicians...

  We are having a single node 12.2.4 EBS instance DB & Apps on the same server. We applied the AD & patches delta 7 for our EBS 12.2.4 T2K which went well. After that when we took the fs_clone, it fails with the following error:

  A little late on this thread, but assuming that you have enough space and still get the error "there is not enough space on the volume that you specified.

  What is the space allocated for the mount point where you try to install? If it is greater than 2.5 TB, you can get this error. Re-size and try again.

• Need help with the use of GROUP BY in a select statement UNION

  I am writing a query that allows to combine a legacy system that interfaces it is trial balance in the Oracle of R12 GL.  It was only meant to continue for a month or two, but it is likely to continue for 6 months. Please Auditors Auditors, to provide proof that the system is in balance with Oracle GL.  By my verification requirements, I need to make a full reconciliation from the month of conversion (life in the amount of date), then PTD for each month. 

  The legacy account is placed in attribute1 on the lines of the journals. Uses of the old system balancing segments that are also used on the platform in Oracle for this division, i.e., Procure-to-Pay has been cut over Oracle, but not everything yet.  So, I can't count on the GL_BALANCES table for the info, I get from the JE_LINES.

  My problem is not the only request for the month.  But when I try to combine the queries with a Union, to aggregation of each measurement period in its own column, the group is necessary after each selected instruction rather than allowing me to put at the end of the UNION.  (When I put the group by at the end of the UNION, I have the 'not one group' function)

  So I get duplicate for each month of discrete measure accounts. When I duplicate in my Oracle database accounts, I can't count on the VLOOKUP function in excel to exactly match an account of inheritance.  I know there are more sophisticated ways to provide this output, but I'm hoping to get this info in a simple query.

• Tables of session OPA in Siebel is growing rapidly. What needs to be done to optimize it?

  We use the OPA 10.4, siebel 8.2. We are in production since January, 2012.We I 149 attributes in our modules. Recently, we were checking S_PA_SESSN_ATTR that contains all the attributes of value of the interview ended up in Siebel and is close to 70,000,000.And that it is growing at a good pace. We show the interview ended up using this table in a custom in Siebel view.

  In the future, we have big plans to move to the OPA and Siebel Sector.We Public will also use Decesion report in the future. My question is

  1. Is there a threshold for the above provided table that we should be aware of?
  2. We have a modules as prototype to production, we will very soon have more rulebases running in production. We use based IO mapping in new projects. Is that all we should seek specifically designing solution for future projects so that we can avoid problems like that?
  3. What to do to optimize the current production? Please tell us the best possible option available for us.

  OPA tables are like any other table of Siebel with a lot of paperwork. for example, audit, log tables tables; There must be a Siebel archiving strategy in place, this is usually done with scheduled tasks of MIE.  If they need help with this Expert Siebel Services or ACS have a standard Siebel archiving approach.  The review will help to design the timetable and the criteria for the archiving of data.  You must consider how long sessions need to be retained for verification requirements and examine if archiving to a second database is practical.

  IO mappings make it easier to map data to the Siebel data model.  Try to design the solution so that the session tables are used for backup and restore sessions and are not used in custom views.  You can then automatically mark as complete sessions the final recording to Siebel case make much easier archiving.

  The tables are indexed performance should be good enough, that the best optimization is to propose a strategy of archive which deletes the old session records.

  In general, the GRANT DBA to MARIA simply speaking, is the quick method.

• Access to the server vCenter Server security policy

  Scenario:

  Users must have different levels of access to virtual machines.  Some need only to be able to turn it on, restart and shut down the virtual machines.  Some need taking pictures, power on, power off, then restart.

  Others must be able to do anything.

  There is an existing Active Directory server.

  We do not want to overwhelm vCenter server with too many concurrent connections.  More than 3000 users must turn on and off the virtual machines and take snapshots.

  Less than 50 administrators full privileges in vCenter Server.

  We must use AD when it is possible to set up groups of users who have different privileges.

  What are the strategies to achieve this?  We should create a 'leap VMs' set in an area of special security for those who need access to vCenter Server to power on virtual machines and take pictures?

  What security products facilitate such scenarios?

  Actually, you are not generically allow access to a virtual machine, a console instead, if you allow access to a virtual machine that you want to monitor access very closely because it (other than RDP) console through the virtualization management services (ala vCenter). I would use tools such as HyTrust, Xceedium, Thycotic, etc. for monitor/audit access. Personally, I'm just saying my system administrators use RDP as it does not pass through the layers of virtualization management. If they need access CD for example, I provide other ways to access the ISOs of a common share (VCD, loop media) instead of asking someone to use vCenter.

  A poor man to get the same functionality is to create a proxy service that connects to all requests for access to the consoles and serves as additional security gateway in the virtualization management devices (ala vCenter). This way a request to go directly to the virtual console is properly logged and you can use this same proxy to make queries to Mount/unmount images, etc. By using a proxy, hytrust, Xceedium or Thycotic you can let him manage the 3000 user requests, limit the number of connections allowed at any time (which is a must), set timeouts, but especially you can delegate all through a service inside of vCenter account so that you can get the best control of your environment. Logging, these tools provide is enough to meet verification requirements.

  Now... I certainly don't know what is the 'Working Directory' - but as/home/SCREW should not be counted as CDROM my working hypothesis is that the working directory is in my staging area - which is held on the. VDI I mount manually - and perhaps get misrecognised.

  I'll change it so that this volume is added to the fstab and automatically - and maybe, just maybe this will be the fix...?

• Clone 10.2.0.5 agent issues

  I followed the instructions of cloning manually agent on Linux hosts. Someone managed this? The error messages, it seems that cloning is not more, but maybe I'm missing something. Here's what I do.
  
  1. directory agent on a properly installed place tgz
  2. the scp of the agentless host, uncompress. All files kept acls, possessor and suid bits
  3 cd dir Yes/bin and command (per the oem documentation):

  Hi Jason,

  The agent software? You mean the original zipped agent? It comes from a non - server WHO. But it's not much different with an agent of a CMS server except add some extras to the runinstaller command (see note 579156.1 steps to clone chained Management Agent).
  I don't see much in this step that might help you, sorry.

  RDP has nothing to do with Oracle. It is an acronym for HP Insight Rapid Deployment Pack and is just a way to install with the basic software (os) servers, configure and install additional software in an automated way. We used to install the servers and install and configure the Oracle Agent on a clients site.

  If you do so already create a new zip from a different source (if available) and give it a try again. Maybe something was not right in the source directory of the agent.

  I try to install 10g on my laptop (Windows XP SP3) and when the installer of the universe embarks on the DOS window, it is said that no preconditions will be checked because an ini file is missing and then I get the infamous Microsoft Error window "send error report / do not send error report" and I can do no other. I tried version 11 earlier and it worked fine. But I need the 10g version so that Toad to work.

  The method I use is:

  This will tell me that products need a license and share, and we need to ensure that we meet the minimum

  and ensure that we meet these.

  Seems very tedious... (more than 60 products to check) is at - it another way?

  I have two blocks in my form. A block from master record and another is for registration of details (master / detail). I did two required fields in the detail block. But when I enter my master on the form file and try to save the file, surprisingly gets registered without checking these two mandatory parameters defined in the block of retail. Can you please how can I do what works well. I m very new to forms. Please give your input.
