  When we run on the test instance adcfgclone.pl after preclone.pl his request password apps on db level. Here, the apps password it is necessary to give the apps password identical prod past apps.

  We can provide the password for different applications on the test for prod apps password instance.

  I ask this question because currently I m adcfgclone.pl face to make my adcfgclone not complted with success.

  This isn't my 1st time of the quick clone and I did many times successfully.

  suddenly, I Micaela all the time when I give the same apps on the test instance password as prod passes apps for cloning is successfully done.

  but currently I have going on of applications different mention of password apps prod during adcfgclone.pl (post clone step on the test instance). and it's because of the error.

  Yes, you must give the same apps password as it was in the source. This is because during the phase of preclone created models have the APPS source password.

  I have my database (11.2.0.3.0) of test running on Windows server 2008 R2 64-bit. My name is TESTDB database and its operation in log mode archive with ASM. I want to clone the same database using RMAN... I checked the many documents and have searched in google also, but did not find the right document. I am very new to the database of ACTIVE RMAM feature.
  
  Here I have the different file name with the structures of different directories also...
  
  my doubt is:
  
  * 1. How to copy a database running in log mode Archive with the DSO to the remote computer with the same name of DB via RMAN? *
  * 2. How to copy a database works in log mode Archive with ASM in a remote machine with the different DB name like CLONEDB via RMAN? *
  
  Please suggest me how to proceed?

  Thank you Jeff, after 6 hours talking with Adobe agent issue is fixed. Problem was the old version of the installer of creative cloud on my system that had to be removed and cleaning tool creative cloud used to remove residues of it. Everything was made of extra admin account, I created just for this (deleted after all finished), there was no glitch re of administrator privileges. New version of installer of creative cloud has been installed on the desktop and the installation of design and other apps worked.

  -Log on to the computer as long as Local Administrator, preferably 'administrator' and then try to uninstall the Remote Agent & try and install back. Log on locally to the box and install the AR.

  -If above does not work, you may need to manually uninstall the Remote Agent. After uninstalling, you can try to reinstall the latest version of the remote agent.

  I did a little reading on the compatibility of remote ACS 4.2 with Windows 2008 R2 agent, and it seems that the only way out is to upgrade the ACS to 5.2. We have Cisco ACS 4.2 SE and I would like someone to confirm that I have installed what happens if the remote agent on a Windows 2003 server of Member rather than the 2008 R2 domain controller. Such a scenario will work?

  Cisco does not support this scenario because sometimes work well other doesn't work at all, so nobody wants an unstable network right, unfortunately workaround doesn't help much. Although there is an ACS 5.2 trial version that you can test, let me know if I can get you the links.

  I installed a Cisco ACS SE with version 3.3. I try to configure for sendo journal acs agent remotely, but it does not work. I installed acs remote agent and I activated the registration service during the installation. ACS appliance may communicate with the remote agent, but ACS cannot write logs on the Remote Agent. If I look at logg on ACS its OK, but when I look at the logs on the Remote Agent Windows there is nothing there. Could someone help me?

  I have successfully registered a (host b) server running version 11.1.1.7.1 with an agent to this DSCChost

  Now, I tried to add the second server to the same DSCC and obtained the following during the addition of agent error message:

  Registry DSCC certainly is running on this host...

  No explanation why it does not work?

  She needs to work with the option - h. h is the hostname used by the dscc registry to connect to the agent. This means that localhost in this case.

  Have you checked the status of official DSCC on the second server? (agent that you are trying to add)

  Info/opt/dsee7/bin/dsccagent #.

  I hope that I can ask this question clearly.

  I upgraded my installation 12cR1 to 12cR3 OEM and have improved also with success of most of the agents. My question-

  The Agent Upgrade console shows a couple of agents who are not upgraded because the latest version of the software agent is absent. They are Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit) and the version of the agent is 12.1.0.1. The remedy is to go to the screen to auto update. When I'm here under software Agent, I see that the Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit) is here with the State applied. I think I should download the 12.1.0.3 agent, is that correct?

  When I choose the Oracle Solaris on SPARC (64-bit), the download button is grey so I don't have the possibility to download it. Must I first remove it in order to download the 12.1.0.3 agent? If I do should I be wary where are there consequences?

  I would follow the steps in the mnazim link you gave, I hope that those who will work.  The steps in offline mode should also succeed. If you want to check on your library, go to the menu of configuration Provisioning and patch, then software library, and the table displays on the screen will show how much space is available for the software library total and how much space is free.

• Health HQ-&gt; Agents tab issue with FULL domain name

  When I go to the HQ health-> Agents tab, I see some of my platforms have the FULL domain name noted quite rightly hostname.domain.com (or other). However, some of them only the IP address of the list and have no FULL domain name. I checked and these IP addresses do not have matching PTR DNS records, so I don't know why this should happen.
  
  Can someone tell me why this is happening?

  Our ODI Version is 11.1.1.6 & have autonomous agent which works fine when started manually with the batch file.
  
  We have a question after you have configured this autonomous agent in OPMN. The OPMN process is started and the agent process is also in the living State.
  
  Now, when we test the Agent in the Studio of ODI, he fails.
  
  In addition, the odiparams.bat, agentcreate.properties, odi_opmn_addagent.bat are correctly configured in my case.
  
  When checked with the newspaper of the OPMN agent it is difficult to understand the question. Here is the decriptiion of the error log:

  It was with the JDBC drivers in the agent\drivers folder. There were several Oracle JDBC files & connecting to the repository, agent was referring to an evil.
  I have just ojdbc6dms.jar that comes by default with 116 ODI. I removed ojdbc14.jar is & ojdbc6.jar (same as ojdbc6dms.jar) & it worked.

• Issue of Clones...

  So I have a 'gold' image with a few snapshots created on this subject. I turned off the virtual machine and start the wizard on my Server View Manager to deploy this virtual machine from using technology "linked clone. The question is when I get to the screen to "default image" screen, it displays no snapshots of the virtual machine. I have other pools clone related other VM so I know that works in my farm. It doesn't seem to work for this virtual machine. If I do not use the technology of cloning of link and simply turn the virtual machine in a model, I can turn a virtual machine stop... Any thoughts?

  The virtual machine has been turned on when you took the pictures?

  Open Snapshot Manager and check to see if there are little green play the symbols on the snapshots. If so, this means that the State of the RAM was saved and View manager cannot use snapshots with a State registered RAM.

  You will need to go back to the snapshot you want and repeat. If the virtual machine is turned on while you take the snapshot, then simply uncheck the box indicating that it will save a running state.

  When I clone a virtual machine existing, will be the new virtual machine in the store of data (like a refernece) or is a separate clone?

  A model is actually a virtual machine.  You score a VM, to update you of the patches and do as you wish to resemble another VM.  From a model, you can customize the settings (virtual, the domain member computer name / not a member of the domain, etc.) Sysprep or customizers of terms VM.  A template is just a VM to deploy where other virtual machines are copied from.  It's the same thing as a clone, more big difference is it's a virtual machine shared, and once that mark you as a template it becomes the master, if you point to all other virtual machines than on.

  You can have lots of models.  It's a great way to keep a plain VM with no data and the data of the user, that you deploy other virtual machines.
