Version of the G1 Firmware of 850 EliteBook

Hello

I have a laptop of HP EliteBook 850 G1 and I see there are two files different firmware on HP site:

Version: 9.5.15.1730 (23 Sep 2013)
Version: 9.5.12.1688 (September 11, 2013)

How can I check which is the real firmware revision in my notebook? I don't want to try an update unnecessarily.

Thank you

Kudlich

Majed, I found it.

  • The major version of the WRT1900AC firmware update

    Hey there,

I've seen through the pages of my WRT1900AC that there is a significant firmare version update (link here). My router came with 1.1.8.something

There is something to be informed during the upgrade to the new major version? I always like to be up-to-date and already bricked another router of mine while doing such update. Should what precautions I take to NOT have my new router in brick (because I love it so far)

The help pages are not very specific about what "do not stop the thing while improving", which meant useful isn't a very good advice because it seems pretty obvious.

Should I bother even upgrade? The changes really do not seem to touch me, but as I said, I just like being updated, especially with something as extremely important for me that my router.

I agree the new Linksys support site doesn't make clear the distinction between hardware and Firmware.

Yes, you can cause problems with your hardware, if the hardware version does not match the version of the firmware. There are the rare exceptions like the EA6900.

Current version of the firmware is 2.1.25.229

It seems that I might have to upgrade to version 2.1.3 first and then proceed to the latest version.

    Hi Danp_Vic,

    If your StorCenter ix4 - 200 d runs a version lower than 2.1.31, you need to update using the ix4-200 d-ix4-200 d - 2.1.38.22294.tgz before the update to 2.1.42.18967.

  • OfficeJet 4635 cancel the firmware update because my ink cartridges are for older versions of the product

I was happy with my officejet 4635 until I clicked on ok to apply for the HP firmware update. He said that it would improve my printer. However, demand has not said that my ink cartridges may not work if I installed the update. I clicked on ok and the update has been successfully installed. Now I can't print anything because I get an error message saying the I have ink cartridges are designed for older versions of the product. I do not use the new HP cartridges because they cost too much. I used cartridges refilled abacus in Az. Phhoenix which worked fine up until I did the update of the firmware of HP. I need to go back to the old system, so I can print again. I am connected to a desktop computer HP envy running windows 8.1. I'm furious HP to try and force you to buy their new cartridges with an update of something. I think that whoever came up with this update should be fired. Any help with a solution would be appreciated.

I was told that there is no way to undo the update of the firmware. HP did send me a few ink cartridges so I could print again, but I am still ticked about the way this has been ensured by HP. They have not told me that my old version cartridges would not more work after updating firmware. I think that it is simply dishonest on part of HP and I am sure that other customers have been captured by this update of the firmware. I am sure it was a HP effort going to force you to use their new cartridges. I'll be very careful on the acceptance of the updates from HP in the future.

  • Latest Version of the Firmware Sansa E280?

I wonder what version of the firmware to the latest sansa e200 series.
The firmware I have is 1.03.01H... Page: http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3313 is said 1.02.24 is more recent
Is newer or better 1.02.24? What is the comparison between the two? What region is my 1.03.01H?

Thank you for your time ^^
    Sincerely,
    Raku.

Ah, the dreaded Hebrew Beta firmware.  This version can be improved, but the names of the firmware files must be modified temporarily, only once, in order to remove this version.

The Hebrew version is a really cool thing, the sansa Lil' Monsta, in the start screen.  Many users have complained about feature with early firmware; If you want to upgrade, you can use either '18' version or '24', because both have a loyal clientele.  (The main difference between the two is to behavior when it is docked.)

I can search the names of required firmware, I will post it as soon as I had the chance...

EDIT: I feel froggy, found for you.  Download both the firmware files and decompress the.  Rename the files as follows:

    Rename pp5022.mi4 in firmware.mi4

    Rename BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom in pribootLoader.rom

Please note that these names are case-sensitive.  Be sure to name the files exactly as they appear here, look for the ceilings and the smalls.

  • Once you install a new printer firmware for your printer, is it possible to return to the earlier version of the firmware of the printer in case an error occurs?

Once you install a new printer firmware for your printer, is it possible to return to the earlier version of the firmware of the printer in case an error occurs?

It may be an option, as long as the error prevents you to connect to the machine. Even so, some firmware update software will not allow a downgrade. This is something that you should go to the manufacturer of the printer for more information.

  • utility based on the Web shows again the old version of the firmware - HELP PLEASE

In September of last year, I replaced my old Linksys with a new (BEFSR41 ver 4.3).  I started to get in trouble yesterday, so I consulted the web-based utility and noticed that the window says: the firmware 2.0 version!

I tried to update to the latest firmware available for my model, following the instructions on the site but something went wrong and the firmware has been altered. Finally, I managed to update the firmware via tftp utility, and he said that the upgrade has gone through. But the utility still shows the version of the firmware 2.0.  Under the router > status reads as follows:

    Capture (share.field_33_UI_share) Firmware Version: 2.00.4 build 7, January 20, 2010

I am very confused. Which is the latest firmware or I get it confused with the 4.3 version number?

I really hesitate to update the firmware again after the problems I had the first time.  If anyone can give me some advice on what to do, I would really appreciate it.

You confuse the hardware version of the router with the version of the firmware.

The BEFSR41 is the model. One physical versions of this model. Each version contains a different material. The exact hardware version is printed on the label under the router.

The firmware version is the version of the firmware (software) running on the router. It is important that the firmware used is compatible with the hardware version of the router. For this reason, you must select the correct hardware on the router Linksys support download site version to be sure to choose the right firmware compatible with your router.

The latest version of the firmware of the BEFSR41 v4.3 is Ver.2.00.4 Build 7. You have the latest firmware.

  • If we improve FI 6296UP UCS 3.1, what version of the firmware for our 9148 MDS is interoperable?

We are looking at upgrading our UCS UCS 3.1 environment.

We currently organize UCS 2.2 (3 c) on our FIs of 6296UP, and our 9148 MDS switches are currently on firmware 6.2(5a)

If we improve UCS to 3.1 (1e) or 3.1(1g), how do we find what MDS firmware version will work best for us?

Interoperability matrices I found so far indicate what firmware and drivers for the HBA/CNA adapter to use, but seem to not very specific with what MDS switch firmware version to use with which version of the UCS.

Is this something that Cisco has no guidance on?

    Hi, DQ.

    If you look at the link (table 1-4) this should help show what MDS firmware below works better with respect to UCS;

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/switches/Datacenter/MDS9000/Interop...

It says expressly "NX - OS 6.x and higher of table 1-1" which is on Page 7 and 8 of the guide above.

    Hi all

Task - need to know the current version of the firmware of the ILO (HP blades) and version the physical servers of IBM IMM.

"I got the information through ESXi guest by ' smbiosDump | grep built-in-i"for IBM blades.

We create 2 files, one for the hostnames of the host and in the other we can keep the password.
