Vertical scrollbar of strength

Hi all

I want to force a vertical scroll bar on all of my pages to avoid the page that appears on some pages (pages quite long for pages vs Ahmed bars not long enough to need scroll bar). On my site I not noticed in IE8 and FF3.

I know this has been discussed before, but I'm not able to find it.

Here is my code currently in my style.css concerning HTML and body elements

HTML, body, div, span, applet, object, iframe, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {}
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
border: 0;
outline: 0;
}

HTML {}
do-family: Arial, Helvetica, without serif.
font-size: 76%;
height: 100%;

}
{body
Color: #000;
margin: 0 0 0 0; / * Sets the properties of margin for an element using the shorthand notation (up, right, down, left) * /.
padding: 0 0 0 0; / * Sets the properties padding for an element using the shorthand notation (up, right, down, left) * /.
text-align: center; / * Center the page in IE 5 browsers content container. */
background: 4262 # 2;

}

.

How do I would accomplish this?

Thank you

Chris

Oh wait, you said with my suggestion that the background went. Well, the code you whowed we:

HTML, body, div, span, applet, object, iframe, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {}
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
border: 0;
outline: 0;
}

HTML {}
do-family: Arial, Helvetica, without serif.
font-size: 76%;
margin-bottom: .01px;
min-height:100.2%;

}

has no background style at all.

    You can use the joint ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility property to control the visibility of the vertical scroll bar in the Legend :

  • scrolling of the vertical scrollbar in the list by program

    Hi all

    I use single-column listbox to update certain values to it progrmatically, when the values at the end of the vertical scroll bar of the listbox appears, but to see the last added item I need to manually move the scroll bar and it causes problem because sometimes it became difficult to manually move the scroll bar , I want to know if there is any approach through which we don't need to move the bar to scroll manually to see the last added item, means scrollbar automatically mves until you see the the last element added.

    Use the TOP RANK of Listbox property node.

    http://www.medxmedia.com/REMsCentral/about_us.php

    I found several online methods for forcing scrollbars, but none of them does not seem to work or I am not correctly added to the CSS.

    You have two options, add any to your level of CSS site.

    (1) force a vertical scroll bar appears on all pages:

    HTML {height: 102%; margin-bottom 2px}

    (2) force a vertical channel to appear on some pages:

    HTML {overflow-y: scroll}

  • Vertical scrollbar in the browser

    Hi all

    As a novice on Flash I have a question - I developed a site with specific dimensions, 1000px x 800px, so it isn't a "liquid layout" - probably not the wiser, I know, but with time I have I can't change it.

    My question is regarding the resolution of the screen - it is inevitable that on some screens of resolution more or less the bottom of the site will be trimmed.  For these relatively rare cases, I would like you to be able to scroll to the bottom of the flash site to see the range, but whenever I export my finished site I have ever presented with a scroll bar vertical, even when the bottom of the site is clipped.

    I was wondering if he was indeed a problem HTML so tried to edit the index.html file which contains the flash animation (simply add an image under the flash animation to see if this has prompted the scroll bars) but could not get it work either.

    Any help much appreciated - Im using Flash CS5 and have coded the site entirely in AS3.

  • Channel indicator vertical scrollbar BUG?

    Hello

    So, I came across this "bug" not so long ago.

    Normally, when select the scroll bar on any string indicator in labview, and then up and down, the text moves accordingly.

    However, when you use the wheel to scroll and the channel indicator is not selected (only the mouse cursor is above the indicator), the text overlaps just constantly until you move the mouse pointer over the scroll bar. See attachment image.

    This looks like a sign before refresh problem and is not the first I meet.

    Everyone knows about this problem?

    Is this a known bug?

    Please let me know!

    Thank you

    PS: LV 2012 SP1 f4, this is what I use.

    I got around this problem:

    I just used the same color as the backdrop of the Committee in the channel indicator.

    This works.

  • Lower right corner resize vertical scroll of trump if configured controls button to appear in the lower corner

    The place of my bottom right of the Firefox window is normally under the lower part of the bar to the right of the horizontal scroll bar and vertical scroll if there. The square is used to click and drag to resize the right side of the window and the substantive limits.

    This is when a web site up its vertical scroll arrow button in the lower right. I can't access the arrow key down with my mouse to cause the page scroll down a few lines at a time because when I point the mouse there, I get the resizing of the controls instead. Even if the arrow button is clearly visible on the screen, the controls resize are supported and I can't use the scroll control.

    Two example web sites display their willingness to arrow down while at the bottom of the window; TIME.com and GMAIL.com. I also saw two PDF documents in the browser, too, I have a vertical scroll bar all the way down and I can not use this button arrow down, because instead I get the North-West-South-East click to resize cursor instead of the mouse pointer when I try to use this button to scroll.

    Someone on the Google Help forum was not able to reproduce this problem, showing me the screenshots of his right lower mouse behavior. But there is no resizing control which covers access to the scroll bar.

    I use the latest Firefox, I have reset Firefox, dumping so all my Add-ons and parameters customized and gave only AdBlock Plus and Cookie Monster. And, when I asked a similar question.

    I'm running Windows XP, on his last days of support. This computer is not able to run something more recent, unless I run with Linux.

    Go to TIME.com, its vertical scrolling is in the lower corner and I get the resizing of the control instead of the mouse pointer arrows when I point the down key. If I disable the page styles on the view menu, I get a useful result that defines the end of the vertical scrollbar above the lower corner. If someone the idea of the style of the page (CSS) creates this problem for me.

    Go to Gmail, turning off styles gives me a useless output of nonsense, so I have to use the current page style.

    Can someone please give me some advice? This forum page has vertical and horizontal scroll above and to the left of the place of the corner down. I have access to all parts of the two scroll bars, as is done on most well-designed pages.

    My window - resize controls are always responsible for the place of the corner down even if vertical scrolling is supposed to be there.

  • No vertical scroll bar in my def of type strict?

    Not sure why, but my bar vertical scrollbar in my table seems to disappear.  I activated too.  Anyone know what gives?

    Thank you!

    I guess that you moved it under main control while customizing the typedef.

    Open the window-> show window parts, find Y scrollbar in the list, it will highlight it. Move with the arrow keys or enter the coordinated outdoor main command.

  • force the scroll bar vertical table

    I have a control which is an array of enums. I show only a single element. LabVIEW will allow me to display a horizontal scroll bar. I need the scroll bar to be vertical to match the other controls and LEDs on the front panel. LabVIEW seems hardcoded to prevent me to display a vertical scroll bar on an array with a single element showing. frustrating.

    Now, they're just playing with me. I knew it!

    I think that there is a bug in the way the dialog box manages the selection/deselection of scroll bars that a person OR you participate on this conversation and "Send" to have a CAR # assigned.

    I don't think being able to have a vertical scroll bar on a 1 d array that is sized only for 1 item maybe not a bug, but a design by programmers of LV decision.  Perhaps because a vertical scrollbar on the controls of normal sizes such as strings and numeric values would be too small to be usable.  But for larger paintings such as a cluster, why not?  I would say that a scroll bar is more intuitive, when there is no room for it.  Generally, it looks like that elements of tables 1 d as being lines, so a vertical scroll bar would allow you to roll the lines upwards or downwards.

    Be able to use a vertical scroll bar must either be added to the CAR/report bug # for dialog box problem, or maybe, you should present the product suggestion Center as well.

    Work around a possible would be not to use the scroll bar on table, but let down your own scroll bar vertical on the FP and nodes of property allows you to set a range and value of this slider to set array shown using his property node index.  The event structure should probably be used as well to manage a change event of value on the scroll bar.

  • Vertical scrolling in Firefox 3 problem

    Hello!

    I'm having a problem of crazy vertical scrolling in firefox (I've noticed this in MS Word also). Sometimes my vertical scrollbar in the browser and other applications gets locked at the top or bottom of the page and there is no way for me to view the page without having to reboot my thinkpad. There is a similar problem reported in the past to http://forums.lenovo.com/lnv/board/message?board.id=T_Series_Thinkpads&message.id=9605&jump=true#M96...

    Can someone please suggest a solution? I have a wireless mouse.

    Thanks for your help!

    Finally, here is a better description of my problem and also the solution!. I have not tried the solution yet - awaiting my thinkpad fool to scrolling!

  • long pull down the menu with no vertical scroll bar

    People,

    It's been 3.5 years ago when we had to learn that there is no way to have a long drop down menu control without a vertical scroll bar. See

    http://forums.NI.com/NI/board/message?board.ID=170&message.ID=217428&query.ID=395029#M217428

    Now, after that we got LabVIEW 8.6.1 there is still no the ability to remove the vertical scroll bar if there is a 'Vertical Scrollbar Visible' property node for the drop-down list boxes. As already observed in 2006 with the drop-down list 8.2 LV Smercurio, this property node has no effect, probably because of a bug. This behavior is always the same with LV 8.6.1.

    A few days ago a user of our software have complained that the menu items would be missing. In fact, they were not, but rather he oversaw the scroll bar and do not scroll to the bottom of the column - that's why it did not find the menu items. In general, it's pretty annoying if you have to scroll first before you can select a particular item. In most cases, the scroll bar is all just useless since the Panel is large enough to display all menu items at the same time.

    How do you design a long drop-down menu on your UI? Any ideas how to get around the scroll bar mean?

    Sorry for the lengthy post. I'm afraid that you have to use the vertical scroll bar while reading my text...

    Thanks for any input,

    Peter

    Stoeckel says:

    I think that's what you're asking.  This works for any named digital control, and I think a small change will be too much work for a drop-down list box.

  • How to hide the vertical scroll bar in the Combobox?

    Hello

    I try to hide the vertical scroll bar in my combobox, because the number of items is small so it is not necessary that the vertical scroll bar is displayed.

    I have a very strange behaviour :

    When I view for the first time in my combobox, the vertical scroll bar is displayed - unless I have enough evidence to justify the appearance of the vertical scroll bar!

    When I select an item in my combobox, the vertical scroll bar disappears (good behavior): it is always the same list of items!

    I have try several solutions... the vertical scroll bar always appears!

    If you have any ideas, it will be fun...

    Try the following:

      primaryStage.show();
            Platform.runLater(new Runnable() {
                public void run() {
                    final Node scrollBar = comboBox.lookup(".scroll-bar:vertical");

  • How to reset the position of the scrollbar when the updating of the jsff?

    Hello

    I have a panelGridLayout that shows the horizontal scroll bar when the content does not fit the available horizontal space.

    In the panelGridLayout I have items that I can drag and drop, and after release, I'm refreshing the grid to display the new data.

    Sometimes to show the last item I have to scroll using the horizontal scroll bar. Now when I drag and drop the last element when updating of the grid, it resets the bar to scroll to the start position and it is very annoying for the user.

    How can I reset the position of the scroll bar after reloading the page.

    Here are the things I've tried:

    1. for the the jsff pageDef file has added a new custom controller class. Inside the method refreshRegion of the class controller added the java code to run a javascript method which will set 'scrollLeft' of the div of the panelGridLayout position. The javascript method is get called (since I put an alert statement in for tests), but the scroll position bar does not. If I run the same code in javascript by a button then it works fine (so no problems in the javascript method).

    2 created an outputText component and visible value = false and clientComponent = true, and the value property value to a method of beans like this #(pageFlowScope.ratingBean.getscrollBarTextValue). Inside of the get accessor method to new call to the same javascript method but no help.

    3 tried to refresh only the gridCell inside the panelGridLayout, but since the gridCell is created by a grid cell single component af:iterator is getting updated. I need all the cells of the grid to be refreshed.

    It is a very annoying problem for our users and is reviewed by our Mgmt. Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Rajesh.

    I could solve this problem.

    Here is the solution.

    Using a panelGroupLayout (scroll) as the component root to display the horizontal scroll bar and to display vertical scrollbars for columns panelGridLayout inside it.

    Set the height of the components inside the panelGroupLayout based on the height of the browser.

    Gets the height of the browser javascript using the af: clientListener of type "load" for root af:document.

    Also register a listener for the resized window event that will perform the ppr and refresh the height of the components.

    When I drag and drop I update just the panelGridLayout of the child when only resets do not bar (which is shown by the parent PanelGroupLayout) scrolling position.

    To provide a specific code, if anyone is interested.

    Thank you

    Rajesh.
