Whenever I type as say, an article or a long email or something - that is a long text - the phone would beep in the middle of my typing. And I was not able to understand what triggered it.   You can change the volume in Control Panel-> sounds-> read-> Speaker tab, then press the properties button-> Choose the level tab-> settings of PC beep at a lower level.

  Are you able to print a test page without the printer being connected to the computer?

  Print a test page to make sure that the equipment is working properly.

  1. Make sure that there is no US letter or A4 size, unused, plain paper in the input tray.

  2. Press and hold the power button / , then press the Cancel button .

  3. Release the button cancel, then the power button.

     The test page will print.

When I checked the speed of connection on the PC, it gives me more than 3 Mbps.

  First thing to do is unplug, remove or disconnect the battery and hold the power for 30 seconds button.  Remove and reinstall the bars of memory.  Try to turn on again.

  If you get the same model single-beep, the motherboard should be replaced.  They seem to run about $350 (parts - People.com);  If you don't replace it yourself, add another $100 or more with a workshop for a total of somewhere around $450.
