Very top of the bookmarks toolbar moving the page in Firefox 4
I want to spend the bookmarks toolbar at the top of the browser window.
For example, when the Menu bar is activated, I would that this result:
http://i55.Tinypic.com/309ua0m.jpg
When the Menu bar is saying-abled, I wish that this result:
http://I52.Tinypic.com/k2obpj.jpg
I was not able to find something that carries out this mission. The current mode is a waste of real estate.
Try to use this extension. Everything you put on the menu bar is displayed in the title bar bar when you hide the menu bar and display the orange Firefox button.

In other words, I want the bookmarks to be more compact in the toolbar, as I see several of them on the page.
You can change the names to make it shorter and remove the favicons or don't leave the favicons.

My side scroll bars do not work by clicking and dragging. They don't even show when I pass the cursor over them when they are at the top of the page. If I use the drop-down arrow at the bottom, they will come with one click at a time. Then, when they are a couple of inches high, I can choose them and they work fine. Is the same for the menu items at the TOP OF THE PAGE THE. Very frustrating. Even this page. If I scroll down too far and then try to type in this box (because it is now near the top of the page), nothing happens. I can also use the menu to make the bold or italic scrip... nothing on this bar at the top of this box... unless I scroll a couple of inches.
This problem may be caused by the Yahoo! toolbar as scopes as well down and covers the top of the browser window, allowing links in this part of the screen not clickable.
Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
- Makes no changes on the start safe mode window.

I have google as my default homepage on my Mac. This morning when I opened Firefox Google home page fills the entire page, there is no menu or toolbar at the top of the page. I tried to click on F11 but it fills just the search bar with an f. I tried right clicking and clicking on 'ESC' but which does nothing. I tried to screw up my version of Firefox and download a new version, but when I opened it, it opened to the Google home page and there's still once a menu or toolbar. I did not restart my computer once I downloaded the new version of Firefox. I'll try that right now.
On Mac, command + shift + f should also switch between normal view and full screen.
Another method that may work is to drag the pointer of the mouse completely to the top of the screen. If the tab slides to the bottom bar, you can right click (Ctrl + click?) an empty area of the top (or right click on the button '+') and you should get a context menu runs with the option for Mode full-screen output.
Does it work?

They stay on top of what I'm trying to see. Before, they would disappear and everything I had to move my mouse to the top of the screen and report them. I don't know what happened or how it changed how it is now. How can I put this back? Once again... I want to switch to full screen mode, and all my toolbars at the top of the page to go. I want to be where everything what I have to do is hover over with the mouse at the top of the screen to bring them. I use a Dell Inspiron Mini and using windows xp with intel Pentium inside.

I got a toolbar at the top of the page when I went to the net, he had a house icon, icon of the printer etc, he disappeared, please tell me how to get it as soon as it's a real pain now when I want to print something! Thank you.
If it is above > look in the start menu > programs > software Dell > Dell Dock > or re-download.
If another brand computer > look in their software > under start > programs.
See you soon.

On my desktop Mac, the edges of window and the border are gray. On my laptop, there is a background sky blue - as in the top of the window of Firefox and a translucent version of the same through the bar where web addresses are registered and the search criteria. I have a very hard time to see the superior information because of this. I want a background gray (or white) standard. I can't find any Mac preferences or preferences of Firefox that address this issue.
You may have installed a light theme (Persona).
You can uninstall this theme and go back to the default theme (Tools > Modules > appearance/themes). -

When you try to use the print selection, printing starts in the location it starts as on the web page. For example, if it is down half way down the webpage, it starts halfway to print on printer paper. Then continue to another document. This only happens in Firefox, not other browsers. It makes me really want to change the default browser so I don't have to keep switching to print correctly. I tried Print Edit plugin, but it is a lot of time to do something that should be simple.
Yes, the functionality of the print selection was twisted several times in recent versions. It was very broken in Firefox 11 and the fix has exacerbated the problem of the position of the selection moves to the top of the page (which has a long history, but is worse now).
Workarounds
I agree that the add-on Print Edit, which allows very fine control of the elements on the page, is not the best solution for this problem, because you often click on number of items for the same selection.
The add-on Nuke anything that improved , has the ability to delete everything except your selected page text. Then you can print normally (i.e., without choosing the bubble of selection). I see not a feature cancel it, so you need to reload the page later to continue working with her.
Some screenshots illustrating this use will appear below this post.

How to restore the Firefox button to the top of the page?
In the instructions it says to click on the Firefox button at the top of the page. I did not and I'm interested to restore. How would I do that?
You see the button Firefox orange (gray Linux) if the menu bar is hidden (view > toolbars > customize or right click on a toolbar).
You can hide or make the bar of menus visible through view > toolbars or via Firefox > Options.
If you need access to the hidden menu bar press F10 or press the Alt key to display the menu temporarily bar. -
lost all tools etc at the top of the page, don't know how to recover
I lost all my info at the top of the page, IE the info URL tool bars buttons home and all that I can not work out how to get
Don't see the menu bar (file, publishing, display, history...) (Help)? Hold down the key (key in OSX) and press the following letters in this exact order: V T M
The bar of menus must now appear permanently, unless you turn it off again (view > toolbars). Turn on/off the menu bar is a new feature in version 3.6.
See the other bars under view > toolbars. Click on one of them will place a check mark (display) or remove the check mark (not shown).
To display the status bar, display, and then click status bar to place a control mark (display) or remove the check mark (not shown).- If items are missing then see if you can find them in the view > toolbars > customize window.
- If you see the item in the window customize then bring her back in the window, customize the Navigation toolbar.
- If you do not see this item then click Restore default set in the view > toolbars > customize window.

How to stop scrolling 250px from the top of the page content?
Hello
Sorry, I couldn't write a better subject line...
I have links to content on the same page, like "named anchor" of ancient times. Problem is that the page contains a fixed header on 250px high. As content scrolls upward all the way to the top of the page, the top of 250px page are hidden by the header.
Are there ways that I can stop content top of page 250-300px?
The header must be there, fixed.
One way of course is to raise the anchor tag 250-300px on the page that the content actually is. But it seems a bit expensive...
Hope that I managed to explain...
A very simple way to do this is with CSS and a combination of relative and absolute positioning.
It's the element that is bound to
. Anchor {}
position: relative;
}
. Anchor span {}
position: absolute;
top:-250px;
}
The ID (or named anchor) is in the empty space, which is the position absolute 250px above the element you are linking. The empty space is at the top of the page, and the bound element is below 250px.
Give the position set a z-index to ensure that the content above the bound element is not displayed in front of her.
