VI clock with the time elapsed

Hi guys. I want to make a clock that shows me to hours and minutes. I used the elapsed time.

Could check you if this solution is fine? Because I'm not sure if I've made mistakes.

You can still use 'number of ICT.

and it will not keep the exact time it will keep accelerate at least 5 minutes or more.

I don't know what else to do about it. You can someone help me?

I still find myself make too many assumptions.
First of all, I guess your derivative of clock occurs during the time when the computer is running and not during the period where it is off (or immediately early)?
Second, I'm assuming that when you run the command "w32tm/Resync" above, the clock made it back to the correct time and no errors were reported?
Third, you say that your clock drift 5 minutes or more, but you do not tell us how long this gain occurs.  It is two times more win if you wait twice as long to check?  Is the gain gradual or sudden?  Keep he wins or if he stops wins once it arrives before?

Conditions of default for a computer connected non-member of the field, the time will be updated network-time only at the start and then once a week.  If you are winning too much too quickly, you can adjust how many times your computer asks for time.  Computers in the domain must be more precise and one every hour for a default time synchronization.  You can set your W32tm to that of a computer in the domain to resynchronize your computer more often (SpecialPollInterval).  Here are two articles that describe the clock settings:

I would like to copy the time elapsed since WMP 11 and paste it into a Word document. I have this on several occasions, is there a way to shortcut this process through Autohotkey? Would appreciate any help at all!

    Hello

    1. What is the operating system installed on your computer?

Unfortunately, there is no shortcut key to copy the time elapsed since Windows Media Player.

You can use your favorite search engine to search for any third party software that accomplishes your request.

  • Microsoft Windows 7 is not syncronozing with the time server, what can I do about it?

Have you tried one of the alternative servers?

  • I have the problem with the time in my laptop

    Hello everyone,

I have issue with the time, whenever I stop my laptop for 2-3 hours. He return to date 01/01/2006 12:00 AM

    What should I do?

    Hello

Did your laptop more than a few years old?

The symptom you describe occurs when the battery that powers the CMOS BIOS chip wears.

The CMOS battery is responsible for providing voltage to the CMOS chip so that he remembers actually all parameters, including the time and date, that have been defined.

Replacing the CMOS battery is pretty simple in a standard OEM desktop PC. Unplug the unit. Open the case locate the quarter size battery. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Plug in power and start the PC and set the time and date and accept the default settings. That's about all there is to it.

Replacing the CMOS battery in a laptop requires generally a bit of disassembly of sequential parts just to get to the battery. Not all laptops are, but most are like this.

I recommend that you have the CMOS battery, replaced by a HP authorized repair center.

    Kind regards

  • help me create a column with the time format

    Hi all

Please help me find the query to create a table with 3 columns and insert the following data

    ENTITYID | CHGDATE | CHGTIME

    ======= ==================== ========

    4214984 | 2 OCTOBER 06 12.00.00.000000 AM | 07:23:57

    4214985 | 12.00.00.000000 11-SEP-08 AM | 10:52:19

and update of the first line of the above table as follows
    ---------------------
    4214984 | 2 OCTOBER 06 07.23.57.000000 AM | 07:23:57
    ------------------------
you will need to update the CHGDATE column with the time of the CHGTIME column.

Sorry, we need a new format around the to_date

    select to_date(to_char(chgdate, 'mm/dd/yyyy') || ' ' || to_char(chgtime, 'hh24:mi:ss'), 'mm/dd/yyyy hh24:mi:ss') from etime3;

This should telll Oracle to the format of the generated string. If this isn't the case, run select with the to_char two as separate columns to see that get us the data that we expect.

  • How to trace the signal acquired against the clock all the time fixed by using Graph XY?

    Hello

My goal is to trace the signal acquired against the clock all the fixed time dynamically. In General, it is like trace the waveform of the signal against the clock in a graph, but don't keep the recent 10 min waveform. My current approach is to get the timestamp by a VI and the express VI to use XY graph to make the plot. The result keep all data in the history which is not what I want. My question is that how to achieve my goal?

    Thank you very much

    Hao

One way to show the last ten minutes of data is to use a graphic instead of a graph. Set the size of the history of the ranking for the number of samples you acquire in ten minutes.

If you want to use the graph XY, you will need to manipulate the data yourself. If you don't want data from the last ten minutes and you want to throw all the old data, set up a circular buffer sized to hold the ten minutes of data. Once the buffer is full (after the initial ten minute break) adding a data point removes the oldest point. Make the buffer of a 2D with X data table in a line and the data Y in the next line. A queue with loss can be used in recent versions of LV to implement a circular buffer. In older versions, a driving force would be a good choice.

  • VISA series and the time elapsed in a timeout

    Hi people,

Still new to LabView, please bear with me...

I have a VI that is sitting and wait a certain string of characters arrive on the port series, but I need a timeout that is not based on the VISA expiration time.

I expect a bunch of text via the serial port for ~ 45 seconds, then my input string will compare the matched string and move to the next VI.

In case of no matching strings, the serial port can continue to send data serially, or may be inactive (no-determinisitic because this test is to see if a computer system started successfully). But once the VI starts, I should have 60 seconds to find the match, or set the bool 'selection' to fail.

I tried to put my loop of time inside the main loop, outside, with or without SRs, and now I am at a loss. I looked at the VI has highlighted and the serial activity is active the timer has expired for 60 seconds.

Please take a look at the joint and thanks for taking a peek at this post.

I'm not entirely sure I understand what you are trying to accomplish. However, here are my thoughts:

    1. You have attached the VI waits 60 seconds before checking the serial port for waiting bytes ONCE then read bytes if available and leave immediately. It's because you have while the loop around the elapsed time and it should run completely before moving on to the serial communication loop.
    2. I assume that you have configured the port series and characters of endpoint set, etc. in a main vi
    3. Please try the VI updated seal and let us know if this helps

    Thank you

  • Problems with the time in Windows 7 (64-bit)

The time on my computer is always off.  Even when I change the time to the exact time in my bios the weather is bad in Windows.  I chose the right time zone, but it's still 6 hours off.

When I was first troubleshooting I could just sync the clock to the internet through the GUI, but after a reboot or two time, the weather was wrong, once again.  I was looking for something more permanent then I tried things like the time service restarts windows.  I followed these instructions then because this person was having a similar problem.  It was suggested to run these commands:

    net stop w32time

    w32tm /unregister

    w32tm /register

    net start w32time

    w32tm/Resync

This helped temporarily, but now I have an error the command net stop time w32t.  CMD says "the time service Windows is not started."

When I go to my services time service Windows is there but not started.  When I try to run it I get this error:

    Here is a picture...

I hope this is enough information.  Thanks for the help!

    Hi EvanDinelli,

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

    Note:
this section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following article: back up the registry in Windows 7

    a. Click Start, type regedit in the search box and then click regedit.exe in the list programs.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.
    b. Locate the following registry subkey and click on it:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\TapiSrv

    (c) in the part of details, right-click ImagePath and then click on edit.

    d. in the value data box, type the following registry value, and then click OK:
    %SystemRoot%\System32\svchost.exe k NetworkService

Note if NetworkService does not appear in the registry %SystemRoot%\System32\svchost.exe - k NetworkService value, the problem that is described in the "Symptoms" section may occur.
    e. exit the registry editor and then restart the computer.
    Note
if you try to start the telephony service before you restart the computer, you may receive the following error message:

Error 1290: Starting the service failed because one or more services in the same process have a service SID inconsistent type parameter. A service with service restricted SID type can only coexist in the same process with other services with a restricted SID type. If the type of SID for this service has been configured, you must restart the hosting process in order to start this service.

  • several scales on Y with the time axis

Hello. I'm new to the tiara. My first impression is that it's interesting.

I have a few questions about the number of scales.

So, how many scales on axis Y can Diadem support? Of course, a time axis.

I mean, I have an excel (text) file with 6 columns, one for the time. Is it possible to have a graph with 5 scales, each scale for a signal (column)?

The limit of the scale for Excel is 2 (two).

    Thank you.

    Hello dsasorin,

I went ahead and made an example with 10 spindles on axis x, same color coded the axis labels. Brad was already properly mentioned that 20 is the limit, but as you can see, 10 already uses a lot of space for the axes vs real graphics, although these a little more tight, I guess I could have done.

Not the prettiest report ever, but it should get the message. It took me less than 5 minutes to create this example once I decided what data to use. If you are a model, it will take less than 2 seconds to create this for multiple data sets which have a similar data structure...

Let us know if you have any additional questions,

  • synchronize the loop with the time on the computer

I'd like to run a while loop exactly all the 1 minute, with the minute that occur according to the time on the computer at 0 seconds.

a timed loop runs a minute after the loop is started and is not synchronized with the 0 seconds of time on the computer.

How do I get there? I realize the first loop will be less than 1 minute, due to the synchronisation.

    Thanks, that helped me.

I thought at the start of the second 1 loop would consume resources additional, but realized it's negligible.

I ended up using quotient/remainder on time on the computer in seconds and checking when the remainder is 0, as this allowed for the second interval.
