Vibrate mode

It is fast way to put the droid in vibrate mode? I long for the simple switch on my Treo. Didn't even have to get out of my pocket. Why designers can't get these simple things made up? I love the Droid in general, but find this kind of confusing things. Why would someone who has used a phone smart not put the vibrate function power on a simple switch function?

... or...

Download "Beautiful Widgets of Silence" from LevelUp Studio (free).  Once downloaded, do not open the app, just go to your home screen and now pressure on the Bureau to add a Widget - I used it at Church today and it works quite easily.  The widget takes the space of a single icon, you click on it (green) or off (red), simple as this and you don't have to memorize the volume settings you had before

Hi hope someone can help me with this

My phone suddenly started to sound mode to vibrate mode. In this case the use of the phone or what is above the table

I did a full restore and nothing. Please help makes crazy

When this happens, before playing with all the other settings, I recommend you to check on the left side of your iPhone where there is a Silence switch. If you see the orange, the physical switch is market somehow when you use the device. If this problem occurs, and you will see that the orange bar is not displayed, there is a hardware problem.

I do my assessments based on the fact that you already have a factory restore and installation of the iPhone like new with the persistence of the question.

  • Text & Email alerts/notifications during a vibrate mode?

Hello people! I just took the Motorola Droid this weekend and I'm having a problem with something... so here and I hope someone can help me with this question:

While my phone is on vibrate, how is it that whenever I get a new SMS, gmail or facebook to update my phone only vibrates? All I get is a flashing that lets me know I have a new text or e-mail, but other than the light, there is no way for me to know that I have a new message.

If my phone vibrate and someone calls me, the phone starts vibrating... but not when I get new messages... as I said, on the phone light will start to blink, but the phone vibrates to let me know I have a new message.

I don't understand.. with my old phone (travel) when it has been set to "Vibrate" mode, the phone vibrated both when I received a call or SMS, but not my Droid. I looked in the 'manual' together and I wasn't able to find anything about alert messages and how to set up different types of notifications. So right now, I'm stuck looking at my phone from time to time to see if I have new messages. I received some messages while I got the phone on vibrate attached to my waist and I didn't know people had texted me because there was no sound or vibration notification type.

Anyone has an idea how to set up the phone vibrates when receiving new messages when the phone is on "vibrate"?

    THANK YOU MUCH IN ADVANCE!

under the settings of your email (I use gmail), there is a setting to vibrate when the message or something like that. and should be somehting similar to your e-mail. If these values are defined, then it still vibrates when a text or an e-mail arrives that you are on silent or not.

  • Vibrate mode on silent mode phone on the parity of the watch?

Is there a way to mirror silent mode on my watch when I switch my phone vibrate like do not disturb works? Also you can change the default sounds. For example, have a chime no apple app as do the Apple apps. I do not use Mail as my mail client on my phone and would like to know when I get an email by the chime sound.

    Hi Derek

No - it isn't currently possible to mirror Silent Mode / Mute on your iPhone and watch or change the default sounds on Apple Watch.

If you want to suggest that Apple consider adding these new features, you can do it here:

  • Phone rings, even in silent mode and to vibrate mode

    Hello

I have a problem with my Z5C as the ringtone goes even when the phone is in vibrate and 'do not disturb' - mode. When I then accept or reject the call, the phone is in "normal" mode. Messages to act normally, vibrating / being silent when it should and not to place the selected mode.

Now, I have to set the phone to make sure airplane mode it interfere in the case of meetings.

Anyone with advice on how to fix this?

Similarly, the hard reset worked, until I had reinstalled all my software again.

The culprit was my call blocking app as soon as it was installed again, the fault returned. So now I have to find a new blocker, but at least the phones works as it should again. The hard reset was when even a good thing, because it cools the phone and felt much faster and 'new' again.

  • BlackBerry Q10 needs a short key to swicth Q10 to vibration mode

Please I need a short-key to quickly switch my blackberry Q10 mode vibration and return to the normal ring tone... As it does not exist in the series "BOLD" (you have only to press and hold the key "#")

Glisser slide down on your home screen, then select Notifications. Set it to normal and close the Notifications. Now drag down and select Notifications again but this time it set on vibrate.

Now, whenever you are in Normal mode and want to toggle it on vibrate, just slide down and tap the bell on the Notifications (not the word but just the Bell) and it it will switch to some notification you had before the current (in this case, vibrator).

That's the best we can do for you.

  • BlackBerry smartphones helps, vibrate mode and ringing continues to play

whenever I put my phone vibrate only mode, it still plays my ringtone after.

That's my General and specific ringtones.

so, im always silent use in place and lack of calls or texts.

I had the same problem since I first storm last November. After many calls to Verizon and visits to several Verizon stores, I finally understood that I had to fix it myself. I created a sound custom profile with all the parameters that I would have expected the 'Vibrate' profile would have provided with the phone. When I use my custom profile, custom ringtones vibrate just like any other ringtone. If you need help setting up the profile, please reply to this message.

  • Compact Z5 - no vibration when receiving text if the phone is in vibrate mode

I guess that once we put the phone vibrates, then it will vibrate for incoming text? If not, is there a way to make it vibrate? TIA

I think that you have disabled the vibrations from the message settings. Go to messages, press 3, then go to settings. You must activate the vibration of the notification.

  • BlackBerry 10 contextual vibrate Mode?

Is there a quick way to put the phone on vibrate only quickly, as when entering a restaurant or a theater?

I have been able to act quickly in the Torch 9800 by touching the "speaker" icon and select the vibrator.

    Thank you, Bob

Is... if there you go mainly between Normal and vibrate only.

Go to settings, then notifications. Change the dropdown to vibrate only.

Now on the home screen when you drag to the bottom if you tap the notification icon it will toggle between Normal or vibrate.

  • emails only vibrate when it is in silent mode.

    Hello

I don't know if it has already been answered but I want my emails push (google account) to vibrate my DEXT as sms.

When in mode 'sound' looks like one vibrates as it should do, but silently, I get only the bliking white led so I don't notice if I get an email when my phone is in silent mode.

Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you.

2 parameters, you need to have

1 gmail > menu > settings > vibrate of course is checked

2 settings > sounds and ringtones > ringtone and vibrate modes > make sure that the two options here are checked

I just confirmed what causes a vibration to your gmail when the silent switch is activated

  • Vibration of Z10 No. blackBerry on my blackberry z10 during the call or message in normal mode

    Hello
There is no vibration in my z10 blackberry on call or a message in normal mode. There activate the vibration on but no vibration on my cell phone.
    Vibration in vibrate mode only.
Please give me the solution for this...

Once you have set the vibration, you must apply the setting for applications of your choice.
To do this, drag down on your home screen, then select Notifications. At the bottom of this page select Applications, then select this option so that is the app you want to request the notification. Make sure that vibration is selected for each application there is.

Let us know if that helps you.

  • Problems with Silent / vibration patterns

Just got my motorcycle G this week and do it properly configured. I noticed one thing is when I try to put it in silent mode (using the power button and in typing Silent) phone only goes to vibrate mode.

Does anyone else know this? Trying to ensure that it is truly silent during the night.

    Thanks in advance!

Hmmm. try to boot in safe mode and see if it works. Hold down the power button / stop until you see the turning the option off, then press and hold the off option - you will be asked if you want to restart in safe mode.

If everything works well in safe mode, and then a few 3rd party app interferes. If this isn't the case, then a reset may be the next option.
