How can I configure my phone vibrate on notifications when it is all two reduced to silence and activated battery saver?

  No, you can't. This is how works battery saver. It limits the vibrations to important events only, in this case, the calls are important as an sms. vibration consumes more battery that is why it is limited by battery saver

  Sounds, on some devices (or profiles) > scroll to advanced to change profiles.

  Press Menu > edit profile you want to change.

  With my 8330 prior, I was able to set up my notifications so that I would be only notified (by vibration) for the arrival of a text Message. Signalling LED flashing with the arrival of e-mail, but no noise or vibration. So far, no set up I tried this can replicate for the storm that I get a vibration with the arrival of e-mail, unless I turn notification completely turned off (in which case I don't receive any notification by SMS). • Phone vibrates when a SMS is received

  I just noticed this and I don't know how long it's happened, but I can't find any setting to get the phone to vibrate when I get a text message. I can have it make a noise or be silent, and the phone vibrates very well when I get a call.

  I did a factory reset in a few weeks, so that will not solve the problem.

  Is this just a thing of gingerbread that happened for a while, or is my phone being unusual?

  Open to the top of your screen of text message. Press menu, then message settings. The last option is the vibration option. Enjoy!

  Hi all

  Having some problems with the SMS and iMessage notification since the upgrade to iOS 10. The problem is that sometimes there is no noise or vibration or anything like that when I get a message. I will just have to pick up the phone and there is a banner on the lock screen. And until someone asks, it isn't that I was away from the phone, or I didn't hear it go off... there was just no notification. It's as if the phone was in DND (which it was not).

  The other thing is, I NEVER receive a notification when I am sent an iMessage from a sender that is the only email address (like an iPad wifi only). In this situation, my phone never plays a sound never vibrates... you open the lock screen, but there's a new banner of message sitting there... as I said before - just as the phone is in DND... which is not.

  This problem happens on mine and my wife's phone. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

  Here is an update. I think I can find a solution to the problem. I used to have my "send and receive" in the messages app implemented with my phone number and checked e-mail address. I have deselected the e-mail address and have now received a notifcation for every message I've received so far. The sample size is a bit small at the moment but before this change, it is 50-50 at best.

  Whenever I get a message, the phone vibrates, cannot find an option to completely disable the vibration.

  You have to go in some applications individually. E-mail and SMS applications have their own notifications parameters including vibrate.

  Ive checked all the settings and Yes is checked so that it can vibrate when a message is received, but nothing happens.   So even if you have "checked" box in your settings so that it can vibrate, now you must get in your 'message' folder, and once you're there and see the messages text, e-mail, facebook, or what you have, you then click on the "4-square" button on the phone and press "e-mail settings" then choose text or electronic mail messaging etc., then you will be able to choose notifications or vibrate and make sure that is checked.

  That was my problem, it has not been verified. could be the problem, if this isn't the case, return the phone and get a brand new!

  Well my vibrate motor starts to work. It keeps vibrating in the middle of the e-mail or send SMS. If I move it back it will start to vibrate again then it stops. I have not all third party apps. I tried the phone in safe mode with the same result. I only use this phone on vibrate.

  My question is do you that is covered by the warranty?

  It's a phone company so I can't check. Being that this is a business phone, I take the responsibility for any problems with the phone. The phone is less than a year.

  VZ generally takes care of corporate clients and long time. A call to VZ should get a new/CLNR phone you in the short term. They always send me the replacement phone with a label of return for the defective phone shipment. Swap the Sim Card and send the old phone back. No loss of time required.

  I don't know if it has already been answered but I want my emails push (google account) to vibrate my DEXT as sms.

  When in mode 'sound' looks like one vibrates as it should do, but silently, I get only the bliking white led so I don't notice if I get an email when my phone is in silent mode.

  2 parameters, you need to have

  1 gmail > menu > settings > vibrate of course is checked

  2 settings > sounds and ringtones > ringtone and vibrate modes > make sure that the two options here are checked

  I just confirmed what causes a vibration to your gmail when the silent switch is activated

  This problem started after I downloaded the 4.1.57 update yesterday.
  My phone is sound and I start noticing that my video audio text was no more. I checked to make sure if the same was for when people call me, and there was no problem there. My ringer turn off again no problem when I get a call, just no sound when a text/email is sent to me.
  And also my phone vibrates when I get a text as well. It starts to vibrate for a call and other applications, simply do not notify me when I receive a text.
  I tried to play with the settings and had no luck fixing it.

  Any ideas?

  Open the messaging app and select "menu" + "E-mail settings" and "SMS". There, ensure that there is a tick next to "vibrate". Hope this helps

• Audible alert options for SMS messages

  Why is it after all the releases of the webos you can't always choose different sounds for incoming SMS messages?  The sound of an incoming message is also identical to an incoming message.  I submitted an application for this feature with justification several months back and still no change.  They have a high priority for change the clock police but not the sound alert for SMS single and adjustable?

  The problem here is that I am a COMPUTER professional who is oncall 24 x 7.  I use SMS messages to inform me of any databases and server problem that must be solved immediately.  With the PRE, the sound is so light that I never hear it while I SLEEP.  The alert is too soft, too quiet, too short and sound identical to spam entering the phone.  I need an alert that will make noise.  I've owned three other phones palm I used for this same purpose and never had a problem before.  They were the Treo 300 600 and 700.

  Does anyone else have this problem?  Or people buy this phone as a gadget and not care about audible alerts SMS?  I think that people in the I / T field are the main users of this device and it would be a major difficulty.  I might have to empty this phone just for the next short if it isn't fixed soon or I might do a bad evaluation at work ( ).

  If you open the messaging application, in the menu drop down go to preferences & accounts. There is 'Sound' by default its alarm system. You can change into a ringtone to choose from all your ringtones, you can add any mp3 to ringtone PRE list which allows them to select what you want. This does not change your ringtone for calls, which remains the same.

  The email app, you can only use the default tone he has. Or you can turn it off, set to vibrate. These options are in the accounts section & Pref in the email app, click on the email account and they are raised.

  Whenever I get a text or an email it's humming and with the amount of messages that I receive, it becomes quite boring.

  I usually run silent all the time my phone is always in Visual acuity, so I really don't need alerts, vibrations, volume, etc.

  I have been using a variety of devices Android for years and nothing I have tried seems to work (outside the rooting and load a custom rom), it is one thing to MotoBlur or am I crazy?

  Every application that I believe has its own notification option.

  When you open the e-mail/SMS application, press the menu key, then select settings-> notiifcations.

  Ensure that vibrate is turned off for each application, but also the master control...
