  • Boot Dell Inspiron 560 problem

    Hey,.

I've had my Dell Inspiron 560 with Windows 7 for about 4 months now and a few days ago I was turn my computer as always and as I do the light is solid blue and I can hear the fans start to move, but my screen is black. I know that the problem is not my screen because I unplugged and plugged back in as "Dell" screen and then the screen would go to power saving mode. I unplugged and plugged all the cables and I will always have this problem. I've also pressed the power button and I it would hold for about 3 seconds until I hear it turn off with a beep. Please help me.

Yes, the motherboard is a replaceable part and can cost $100 +, as well as S & H, these motherboards are generally used, alias "renovated".

But, if the motherboard needs to be replaced, before you buy, check the cost of the purchase of a computer, nine or of occasion.

My new DELL Inspiron 560 with Windows 7 (64 bit) works very well with my all-in-one HP C7280 printer except the scan function.  I tried and tried to get the correct driver, but all I get is "no scanners are detected."  Any suggestions?  I would appreciate your help!  Thank you very much!

  • Dell Inspiron 560 install a second hard drive

I am wanting to know if it is possible to run both hard drives in this computer to the max storage?

    Derplax

Yes, the Inspiron 560 MT supports two 3.5 "SATA internal hard drives.

Dell has not released written instructions for adding an additional SATA hard drive in the 560 MT

But as the Tower of 530 Dell Mini has the same chassis, the same procedures can be used.

Instructions for the installation of a second hard drive physically here are:

    http://FTP.Dell.com/manuals/all-products/esuprt_desktop/esuprt_inspiron_desktop/Inspiron-530_owner%27s%20manual_en-us.PDF

After you install the second hard drive, enter the BIOS Setup] and ensure that the drive is enabled [on].

Then partition, format the hard drive and it assigned a drive letter by using disk management.

  • Dell Inspiron 660 card reader (Realtek 2.0) has stopped working

I uninstalled the card reader and let Windows install the new drivers. That did not work, so I downloaded the latest driver from Realtek site direct and tried to install it. That did not work or so I looked in the event viewer and noticed: "device not migrated. My OS is Win 10. See the screenshot below:

I stuck a screenshot, but it does not publish. Read: deleted device, device install requested, not migrated device, device added Service (RTSUER) and design installed (rtsuerext.inf)

I look forward to hear from someone who can give me some help on this.

Have you installed both the Intel chipset drivers after loading Win 10, here , then here?

Look in to the card reader device manager. If it does not appear, right-click and then uninstall it. Win 10 installation of Dell driver for the Realtek card reader in 660, then restart.

  • Need Compatible printer for Dell Inspiron 560

I wonder if someone can help me please, I tried to work backwards (from my ink) to find a printer for my office with no luck and am at my wits end. I got a HP PSC (printer/scanner/copier) when I got my HP desktop computer, but then I upgraded to my current Dell a few years before and never hang upward my printer I have he didn't need right now. Time passed, and I tried to print, but got an error saying that it has not been installed; I remembered that I never installed on this Dell PC when I unpacked & set up. I soon discovered that it was "not compatible" and of course, that was after (it appears) I had just bought new ink for the printer, so now he is sitting with the new ink (already open so cannot return) and unable to connect to my Dell. I looked everywhere for updates or driver updates etc, but no luck & finally HP told me that there is no way that they are compatible. He uses ink (black & tricolor) #21 & #22 cartridges so now I'm trying to find a printer that is not only compatible with my Dell but that also uses the full/new ink cartridges I have. I'd appreciate any help someone can offer, I can't afford to just buy a new printer on the site for those who work are fine, I just need to get an idea of who will work so then I know what I can get. Thank you!

I had the impression of working with a driver/support/upgrade download updated os, thank you for your answers.

  • New Inspiron 560 - dual head video card

    Hello

I recently bought a new Dell Inspiron 560, which is being built as I type.  I use a multi-screen work configuration and the habit of it - so I would like to upgrade my computer to do so.  I have a good bit of experience working on the PC, but not recently - and it seems that the world of video cards has changed a bit in the past 6 years and more.  (I think I know that the onboard video will have to be disabled to use another video card, so it would take the dual head card or USB video adapter.)

I don't want to upgrade the power supply, which I believe would be necessary with a video card "hardcore".  I'm not a gamer and don't expect to ever need a video card that powerful.   I am considering Radeo 4350 card made by Asus (a brand that I know) http://www.amazon.com/Radeon-EAH4350-PCI-Express-Silent-Graphics/dp/B00203CU5S/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1291916786&sr=1-4

What is a good option that works in the Inspiron 560?  Thank you in advance!

An addendum to the original question: one of my monitors has a HDMI input - it seems that the Inspiron 560 has 1 HDMI output and 1 VGA output.  Could I just use these for a 2 two monitor Setup?

    Thank you.

  • Compatibility of memory with the Inspiron 560?

    Are G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) 240 - Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1066 (PC3-8500) (F3-8500CL7D-8GBRL) compatible with Inspiron 560?

Based on the recommendation of http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/desktop/f/3514/t/19524134.aspx, I bought these, but I get the error code double beep, which corresponds to "No. RAM. I have them sitting correctly, so installation was not a problem.

Perhaps Inspiron 560 cannot accommodate a 4 GB RAM?

    Hi NewDaddy,

Dell Inspiron 560 offers two memory module sizes, which can be used in the memory locations: 1 GB and 2 GB. These offerings enable memory configurations as follows:

  • What video card do I need on a Dell Inspiron 1545 playing Fallout 3?

I have a problem when I try to play Fallout 3 on my Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop. I tested my computer with the System Requirements Lab and he told me that I need an upgrade. I have a Mobile Intel (r) 4 Series Express Chipset Family.  He said that the Minimum that I need for my computer is Direct X 9.0 c compatible video card with 256 MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X 850 or better).  I looked this up, but I can only find ones for desktop computers. Do you know what I should get the video card and what one is for my computer?

    Shawn

Generally, you may not get a new video card for your laptop, but if you can contact so that they can install it for you, unless you know how to install mobile video cards yourself.

I looked towards the top of your machine and it looks like you have the possibility to have a 256 MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD4330 for your machine. That would probably be it. I don't know what type of processor you have, but this card should work for you. Integrated Intel cards are not good for games at all.

    Good luck.

  • With Dell Inspiron 530 video graphic card compatibility

A Nvidia Geforce 6200 512 MB AGP card would be compatible with a Dell Inspiron 530?

The Inspiron 530 ° N not require a PCI Express x 16 video card AGP.  AGP on maps is very expensive in any case today, compared to the PCIe x 16.

  • Performance video card in Dell inspiron 3521 (i5 1.7 ghz, radeon hd 7650 m 1 GB, 6 GB ram, win 7)

Hello guys. The configuration of my laptop is (1.7 ghz, radeon hd 7650 m i5 / intel graphics hd, 6 GB ram, win 7)

My previous laptop was a Dell Inspiron 1520 with processor T7500 (gz 2 or 2.2, not sure, Nvidia GeForce 8800 m (256 MB) video card and 4 GB of ram, win xp)

IM game called World of warcraft on my new laptop but I have question about FPS (framerate).

Maximum FPS I can get is about 80, but is not stable, I mean FPS jump from 30 to 80 on low graphics. I rememmber, when I played Wow on my laptop previous, I had stable FPS of 60-80. Why? Radeon hd 7650 is more than 2 times better videocard for 8800 m from Nvidia.

I try to use gamebooster (program to increase the performance of the game), but nothing helped. NVIDIA had beautiful Control Panel, where I can change all the settings to increase video card performance, but what a radeon? I installed the video card of the site drivers of official Dell but there like 4 options.

Can someone explain to me. I sold my previous laptop, something that I'm going to get more powerful laptop, but now I feel like a fool.

    Hi Minioriginal,

Please provide us with this information. All graphics applications of broad must be configured on high performance so that they use the video card ATI and Intel not one.

Please select high performance and then launch the game and let us know the results of the same.

  • Dell inspiron 3521 (i5), how to configure Radeon video card laptop use as main graphics card?

    Hello guys.

IM using Dell inspiron 3521 (version i5 to 1.7 ghz, Radeon HD 7670 M / Intel HD Graphics 4000, 6 GB of ram)

I don't want to use the Intel HD video card at all, because the quality of the texture is so low. I would like to know, how to set up the main video card?

    Its possible?

    Thank you

The 'main' video chip is the Intel one - it's the only one who has a connection to your display board.  The AMD GPU is a co-processor - it can be used (chosen from the AMD Catalyst Control Panel) for the applications you want to use it.

It CAN be made the default GPU - GPU from Intel's wired for this role.  By design, all of the video data through the Intel GPU (which is part of the central unit of system processing).
