  I want to ask you for help with customizing my fast fall. Miss me the shortcut ctrl + A (select) all. For example when I type the name of the function in the window of rapid decline, but I made a mistake or a typo, and I want to write the name of the function again, but without pressing return back key (I use one hand and Darren chips; p).

  Any ideas?

  I am using Captivate 8.0.1 and created 3 video demonstrations (beginning, middle, end) each with a narrative etc. I would like to combine 3 presentations in 1 video presentation.  I know that I could change each one individually and then use PIP but I would prefer in this case to combine three video demonstration in 1 files and then edit them in whole.

• Video demonstration and Adobe Illustrator

  I am trying to create a video demonstration of some features in Adobe Illustrator. A shortcut common in Illustrator, as well as several other Adobe programs, is to select an object, hold down Alt (or Option on a Mac) and drag the object to make a duplicate of it. When I hold the Alt key to make a double when capturing a video demonstration, Captivate freezes. Is it possible to use the ALT key without freezing the demonstration video capture?

  See the problem and have no Jay solution. I would switch to Camtasia in this example, and you know that I am a fan of Captivate.

  I didn't try with the presenter, because can not install the latest version for some reason any. Maybe it works there? But of course the installation options are much more limited.

• Rapid decline question

  I use fast down a bit lately.  I use CTRL + Space keys, CTRL + I to insert the screws in the existing threads, but time ago were it's faster for me to slide the screw from the palette on the block diagram.

  Someone at - it a rapid drop plugin that allows you to select a VI and a thread and automatically the wires together?  For example, it would be nice if I could choose a VI with terminals of the error and the thread of the error and allows you to automatically link their rapid fall.

• With the help of video demonstrations - Question on mutiple devices/accounts

  So I have a bit of a complicated scenario that is close to the running of an event, I work for my employer.

  We lack an event/conference of the commitment of the staff.  We want that delegates to fill a certain number of tasks, all on iPads - that we rent for the occasion.

  I plan activities, and we will be giving them a range of the new Adobe CC of multitasking and mobile applications to produce a piece of media that illustrates their understanding of the key objectives of the company.

  They will be divided into 5 groups, and each group will get an iPad.  Groups will be assigned at random to different tasks.  For example, it will take to produce a video of animation with voiceover using the voice. App.  Another will be to produce a video "live action" or interview/chat, see the scenario using Premiere Clip.  Other groups can produce a website using slate. (I hope you can see where I'm going here).

  There are 2 things that I try to find:

  1. Is there any existing 'a page' guides quick to the CC apps so that I can put the latter in information packages sent as a document in support of give them an idea of how to use the apps to produce their media? (these are the front-line employees who would not normally produce videos or media, etc.)

  2. Regarding the CC 'in-app' purchase of 20 GB of online storage - is linked to an iTunes account, or an Adobe account?

  All iPads are hired and come with a standard itunes account which is not related to a payment mechanism (it is obviously to prevent users to buy applications on behalf of suppliers).  I would get 1 month of online storage additional to a number of different accounts of Adobe, but I don't know how to do this?  I need only the storage for a month--is not an event we again, I just want to be able to ensure that all product content is backed up so that I can retrieve it after the event

  I hope that this is a logic.  Can someone advise on every point?

  That sounds like a great project, and it certainly can be done using a single account, CC. You have the right idea. Sign up for the CC account you want on all 5 devices. Create the content of the respected applications and then you could access your CC on Adobe.com account to access all of the content.

  I recently bought a new macbook pro 15' and since then, I have read several articles on how to preserve the battery in my macbook. Therefore, I check regularly the full load capacity (perhaps every day...), but yesterday, something strange happened. Full charge capacity was most of the time at approximately 8500 mAh, but yesterday when I checked, it had fallen to 7700 mAh. I am aware that the full load capacity decreases with time, but 800 mAh for one day is certainly something not typical. In general, I charge when it is between 20-40% until it reaches 100%. I did not the little ordinary things on it in order to damage the bad battery. I just read a book and disabled the Wi - Fi in order to preserve the battery life. At one point, I noticed under the battery 'remaining 18 hours', but it's normal since I used it in low light to read a book without a free Wi - Fi connection. I think that the battery may have lost its calibration, so I re - year (wait for the macbook to stop, then wait for 3 to 5 hours and charge up to 100%). Do you have any other suggestions what could be the problem and how to solve?

  P.S. The battery has 37 cycles count.

  Your MBP battery needs to be calibrated.  This will put a useless cycle on this issue.

  I don't know if I'll be able to add tweaks to solve these problems. For now, a work around for the problem of Type Cast... assuming that you have a constant connected to a Center Terminal, if you drag a selection box around both the cast of Type and the constant, then do Ctrl-space-Ctrl-R, it will create the wiring as you wish:

  

  In recent (may 2013 or 2014?) I added logic to remove and rewiring in order to ensure that nothing in the list of selection (as a constant) is a candidate for the rewiring and instead is still deleted, with the selected functions.

• How to record video of demonstration Captivate 9

  I am trying to record a video demonstration of a procedure in Captivate 9 where I capture parts of the interface of Captivate 9 as in the drop-down menus, the properties panel, etc..

  Here are the steps I took:

  File > register a new > video demo.

  Then, in the pop-up window that appears, I selected the option to request button. In the drop-down menu Select the window to save , Captivate 9 is not listed as one of the applications - so I can't save it.

  When in demo mode video, I can view Captivate, but it just shows the scene and not the film, timeline, properties panel, menu bar, etc.

  Is it possible to make a video demo Captivate using the Captivate demo video feature? If so, how?

  Try to open two instances of Captivate.   Then when you use one to create a demo video, you can choose the OTHER instance like the app you are saving.

  Is there a way to scramble sensitive information in a video demonstration?

  Not so easy in a normal cptx project. Either you publish to mp4 and use a video editor own right (like Premiere Pro or After Effects), or you can put a static (such as a form) object on top of the part where you want the information be covered. Who could be a semi-transparent form, or maybe put some dummy characters in it to cover the original text? This second workflow is possible in the video demo, don't need another application Editor.

  I have an existing .cptx file in which I want to import a video demo. I tried several ways to 'import' my video, but for some reason, it always seems to be in a transparent overlay to my Master Slide. That's what I did (in Captivate 8):

  • I created my video demo of in my file .cptx by clicking on «File - new video demo» In this way, a separate file .cpvc were made. In my .cptx file, I chose the slide on which I wanted to show the demonstration video. Then I inserted by clicking on "insert - CPVC slide." Result: a transparent video... My video and my model of slides appear to be 50% transparent...
  • I wanted to check if I had the same problem when I inserted a normal video file (not .cpvc). So, I published my demo as a .mp4 which I inserted. Result: that works very well, but not is not very convenient: whenever I want to make a small change, I'm going to have to State in my .cpvc and publish it again. Not the most effective way...
  • To be sure, the problem was not due to my video demo-settings, I recorded a new simulation software, which I've tried to insert in two ways:
  1. all initially following the same procedure as described above (video demo). Result: transparent video
  2. Second, by selecting the slides created in my simulation software and copy - paste in the .cptx file where I wanted to show the video. Result: transparent video...

  Anyone know what could be the problem? Is she related to my slide master? But, if so, why it works very well when I insert my video as a .mp4 file?

  Why you import a video demonstration published instead of immediately register in the cptx project, with slides (big button), video of demonstration? Indeed, I suspect a problem with the slide masters. Is the model Virgin daughter of slides indeed blank or do you change you? This master slide is used for software simulation slides and slides in the demonstration video.
