  If you open the FLA and select the video on the stage (depending on the version of Flash it could just be a black rectangle, or in fact be video)

  With that selected, go to the settings panel (this is a group with the properties panel, but if it isn't then you can find it somewhere in the window menu)

  Find the "source" parameter in this Panel and change its value to be simply the name of the FLV (if the FLV file is sitting right next to the SWF)

  Publish the SWF file and you'll be ready to go.

• Videos won't play, even after the update of multiple extensions

  Then, I had this problem for a few days. I think it has to do with the most recent date of flash that I don't have this problem before and unfortunately I do not know how to undo what has been done. The video remains black, apparently regardless of what I do.

  Enable and disable the extensions
  Removing firefox and all of its data and then put it back
  I have troubleshooted compatibility and am firefox running on Windows XP (Service Pack 2)

• Video does not play in htdocs, or on the web

  I have both configured the same way in flash 8 video. We play everywhere. The most recent is not anywhere in the folder htdocs (AMP) or on the internet. • Animation of symbols on the main stage

  I have a set of symbols. Each symbol has a rollover animation applied to it.

  Now, I want to be able to animate all these symbols to enter the main stage. This animation plays fine when I hit the button to read within the program, but when I go to preview in the browser, it will not play. I do not have a trigger to stop stop or whatever it is at the beginning of the main animation, so no sense that he would not play. I note that reference is made to the time symbol on the main stage. (chevron back Gray arrows). My individual symbols have a stop at the beginning of each trigger. Only thing I can guess is that trigger the symbols stop is keeping the main animation to play.   Successfully exported and load a video on youtube.  Unfortunately discovered audio excerpts do not play back on latest Android and Apple devices, but being of other clips.

  It doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason.  a lot of audio tracks, but I only have a problem with the two voices.  and select clips on the two tracks do not play back - it's not all one and nothing on the other hand, some play, some don't.

  video and audio play fine on most devices and computers, but on a privileged few, these audio clips are missing.

  PP CS6, exported in h.264 mpeg file.  audio is uncompressed 16-bit.

  found a thread (http://www.videomaker.com/forum/topic/audio-channelscancelling-each-other-out) that mentioned stereo audio where one side is out of step with each other, when read by a mono speaker (some apple and android devices, but not all) it will cancel out (can still be heard, soundtrack and effects).  When reading through the headphones or stereo speakers, you can tell that she is out of step.  Something trying to convert the stereo signal to mono cancelled the progressive audio funny.

  My dose was hard pan the audio tracks, solo, export only one mono aac audio, re - import the sound signal of a new track, and I settled for the mono voices above.

  I am an avid Firefox user since about 2008, but my main browser on this laptop I've had for about 18 months.

  A month ago, videos randomly stopped playing, I have the latest, most up-to-date browser adobe flash player and have tried everything on this page http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/fix-common-audio-and-video-issues but nothing has not yet, it shows just a white screen on the videos and a play button on Youtube with no background

• Video does not play back. Clips are blacking out.

  Not sure why my videos don't play back in the Viewer. Audio seems to be well - all of this. Some clips are "dead".  It has not been done until I stopped and restarted.  I stopped him because some clips were black in the clip project tree, while the timeline plays very well.  After stopping and restarting the computer, the clip project browser is a little better, BUT my calendar was wrong.

• How can I get video mp4 for playing the edge animate .oam on page Muse?

  Ok.  I'm pulling my hair out here...

  I am just placing a file of .oam edge animate with video on a page of Muse. The .oam contains a simple icon (that grows and shrinks slightly in a loop to draw attention) that, when clicked (event "on click") made a video .mp4 appear and start playing. Then the video disappears at the end, leaving the new icon (no controls - it just plays and goes when it's done).

  The animation/video playback works fine in edge animate and animate preview of edge browser but when I place the .oam file in my page of muse, the video does not play. I tried the same file without the event 'on click' where the video plays essentially on its own after a second aboard animate and edge Preview in the browser and even once, it does not read in Muse.

  It's embarrassing and I don't know how to solve the problem.

  Does anyone have any suggestions? My .oam file contains a .mp4 file a.webm file, although this will be part of a stand-alone Museum Kiosk and therefore does not need compatibility .webm.

  I'd appreciate any suggestions really.

  In any case, I use Safari. I tried the image displayed in preview in the preview of the Muse and then tried in "Preview in browser" and it did not work for me. I just downloaded Chrome and will try to image previewed in there. Perhaps that will work.

  Holy crap!  I literally just released the entire HTML for the site of the Muse and opened it in Safari from there and it worked like a champ!  A problem with the perhaps "Preview in browser"?
