How to rotate a video that was recorded on the side

Hello

·          What operating system is installed on the computer?

There is no way to rotate the video in Windows Media Player, but the video can be edited in Windows Movie Maker.  Movie Maker has an option to rotate the video.

You can turn video clips in Windows Movie Maker by following these steps:

a. import the video clip in Windows Movie Maker.

b. drag the imported video clip and drop it on the timeline.

c. on the Tools menu, click Video Effects.

d. to rotate the clip to the right, drag the effect video rotation 90 and drop it on the movie in the timeline.

-or-

e. to rotate the video clip on the left do drag the video effect rotate 270 and drop it on the movie in the timeline.

f. on the file menu, click on the video file and follow the instructions of the wizard movie recording.

If you are using Windows 7, you need to use Windows Live movie maker.

  • Windows Media Player 12 has stopped working.

Windows Media Player 12 has stopped working. When I select an audio track and click on the play button, a red X appears next to the title in the playlist. I uninstalled and reinstalled the player, but also update the drivers. Checking the properties through the device manager says that the device is working properly, but this clearly isn't. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem would be welcome. As a matter of interest, itunes has stopped working at the same time. And audio tracks play fine in RealPlayer.
    Thanks in advance

If you try new types of files that WMP is not pregnant then it will warn you that they only peuvent malfunction.

I got when I started to use video files to .ts format - he warned me, and then I told him to go ahead & try anyway, so he did and they worked.

If say you your WMP to try to use the format, then you can include the results in your response to the request of zig - zag for more info - make sure to specify what types of files they are.  Note the messages you get from WMP because it will give more information that just what file extension are files - video files can be, for example, the extensions of files .ts taking video & audio formats of all kinds such as mpeg2 or mpeg4 & mp3 or ac3.

Depends entirely on this laptop you have. If it has a 64-bit processor
You can use 64-bit Windows. If a 32-bit CPU, you can't.

If you don't know you have, hold down the Windows key and press
Break | Break. It will tell you if you have a 32-bit
    processor or 64-bit processor.

  • Windows Media Player 12 Double click adds all the songs?

    Hey all the...

Has anyone another terribly frustrated summer when you create a playlist by mistake, you double-click a song in your library, remove the current songs you've invested time in the selection and replaces all of your library (or, as many songs that are in your current view)?  I can't find a way to change this behavior in WMP 12.  There is a registry edit in WMP 11, which made it SO much more pleasant to use player.

Please tell me I'm not the only one, and someone (including you Microsoft) has a solution for this.  If this isn't the case, I'm done with this player.  Easily one of the behaviors the most ridiculous thing I've seen in an application.

Look forward to your experiences and solution!

    Murph

    Hello

The behavior that you experience in Windows media player 12 has a default design. I suggest you not to make any changes to the registry, which could cause your computer to run normally.

  • Windows Media Player encountered a problem while playing the file when Pinnacle Studio HD 14 is running

Windows Media Player encountered a problem while reading file he when Pinnacle Studio HD 14 is running

    Hello

I have Windows 7 Home Premium. I installed Pinnacle Studio 14 ultimate test. When the Pinnacle program works-

    a. when I run a WMV file there is no audio data.

    b. when I rang a MPEG 2 file (720 p, 25 frames per second) OR a file m2t, Windows Media Player is not able to read the file and gives the error: "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem when reading what he gives.

    c. when I close the program Pinnacle all right and WMP reads all of the above files correctly.

I also recently installed and uninstalled Corel VideoStudio X 3 of the trial. First Adobe Elements 8 trial is also installed on the PC.

I would be grateful yuour help solve the problem.

    Thank you

    Paresh

    Hello Paresh,

The Pinnacle program is third party software that is causing the problem to occur. Pinnacle may be in conflict with your music files playing in Windows Media Player, that's why, I suggest you to contact pinnacle and check with them.

Windows Media Player 12 is probably to use the codecs used by pinnacle, which may be the culprit.
