View installation agent causes slow connections at the office (office preparation phase)

Im running a question with 5.2 view that whenever I have install the agent double or triple the time of a new user to connect to the desktop if I uninstall the agent goes back to normal...

Windows 7 without an agent takes about 10 to 15 to connect...

Windows 7 with agent takes about 35 to 90 seconds of connection... it is stuck at the stage Office prepares for most of the time...

in our field to exclude some Group Policy objects

If we use PCoIP connect it takes about 30 to 45 seconds

If we use the console or explosion, it takes as much as 2 minutes...

I tried to build a new vm and was able to reproduce the time by installing the agent.

anyone else seeing this? is this normal?

IM about to try windows 8 to see if I can reproduce the problem on this OS

The issue has been linked to the function of thinprint agent. We removed the virtual impression of the agent, and now the opening of session are compatible on all protocols in 30 seconds...

  • Slow connections to the internet wireless

I have problems with my wireless with my brand new Dell laptop running Vista 32 bit.  I spent a lot of time to read about it online but have not been able to solve my problem.  Here are my steps, I took so far

    D/led drivers Dell Wireless
    -J' uninstalled McAfee Security Center
    -disabled autotuning, rss, tcp/ip v6
-Flashed the firmware newest on the router (netgear WGR614 v5)
-set levels of power for maximum performance on battery

Wired product than the internet very fast speeds so it's a wireless issue.  My other laptop running XP THAT works well on wireless so I think it must be related to Vista SP2(even ran the same virus scan programs on both computers).  Some pages load more quickly, but as soon as I'm lulled into a false sense of security on the internet speed, I get hit with a page very slow loading Web or the connection is lost (although I am still connected to my wireless network).

Any suggestions?  This has been a very frustrating and aggravating, issue especially with a brand new computer.

    Thank you.

    Hello

You can check your connection Wireless at a library or other WiFi spot just to rule out any problem between

SSID that some routers and systems have problems. If disable you (OFF) the system XP is there a difference in the way

Security/antivirus/antispyware products could also play a role here, even if the same as those on XP seem to
work well. Were there more of them on this system even if you have uninstalled them when they leave often remains
    which may cause strange problems.

  • Very slow connection to the LAN on my Tecra M1

    Hi all

    I use a Toshiba Tecra M1 1 .6GHz, Win XP.

I found that there is a problem with the connection to the local network. It is very slow. I takes about 5 minutes to download 1 MB. It's really a lot of time if I want to download and update some software over the internet.

I also have an office. It is quite a bit old but the connection to the local network is much faster than my laptop; for example, I downloaded Windows Mediaplayer 10 - about 12 MB by using desktop and laptop at the same time to compare, the Office has taken 2-3 minutes while the laptop ate more than 20 minutes. I switched the cable between the office and cell phones, but it did not help.

We know the problem and the solution?

    Much thanks.

    Hello

Nick is on the right track. Who knows what runs in the background and applications who wants to access the internet. I recommend you to use the tool called Zone alarm. On this way, you will have full control over the applications that want to access the internet.

  • Slow connection with the built in WiFi card

I have a connection wanadoo adsl internet 20 Mbit family with a direct box. The box is also a wireless router.
When I connect to the livebox with my toshiba mx40-231, the connection is very slow. The connection is constantly switch between 1 Mbps and 54 Mbps and speeds range between. It is also the problem. One moment an internet page is send in 1/10 of a second and 1 minute later a page to load in 20 secconds! the strang thing is that the intensity of the signal is constant high!

With the direct box, I also had a wireless USB key. When I use this stick I get a connection very quickly 54 Mbps constant.

It seems to me that the construction of the wireless card is the problem. I already have the latest wireless driver and tried a few channels on the router.

Someone at - it an idea to solve this problem so I can throw this wireless stick :-) Thing very clumpsy this stich on such a portable wireless of beautifull!

    Hello

If you check the wireless card, you will find many topics on this subject. We know that Intel 2200 B/G card wireless make disorders and connection is not constant. We can only speculate why this happens, but the fact is that this card has problems with different routers.

For example: Satellite M40 has the same card and the fantastic work with Netgear router. Even with Belkin, it works well in full speed.

I recommend you to install the latest version of the driver Intel

    Good luck

  • Very slow connection on the WRT610N

I bought a brand new WRT610N recently but didn't experience any improvement in speed, therefore began to study a little.

I have a broadband cable, 30 Mbps connection.

Cable modem is connected to a network adapter.

An another output-power adapter is connected to the WRT610N

now, when I connect my laptop through the router (wired or wireless makes no difference), my (upc speedtest) speed is about 5 Mbps.

When I connect to the internet via cable to uplink on the router, I have 12 Mbps.

When I connect directly to the cable modem, I have 28 Mbps.

So, a big loss is caused by food taken thingies, I can get more quickly those who or stop using them at all. But what causes the loss of the router? All I can do about it? It shouldn't give me easily the 12 Mbit/s, it becomes itself?

    Any help appreciated.

If connect you your computer to the WRT610N, you should be able to get on the same 28 Mbps you get from your cable modem.  Since you get only 5 to 12 Mbps wired, this suggests that there is probably a problem of basic configuration.

    (1) have updated the firmware on the router?  If so, after the update of the firmware, you reset the default router, and then configure the router again from scratch?  If you do not reset the router by default since the last update of the firmware, then please do it now and see if it solves your problem.  If you have saved a file of configuration of the router, DO NOT use it - you must configure the router again from scratch.  See "Reset to Factory Defaults" below.

    (2) using peer-to-peer (P2P) software?  If so, it is a known cause of slowdowns of router and disconnections.  The problem can occur even if you are not currently running the P2P software.  Stop using the P2P software.  It may take up to 5 days for your router erase from his memory.

If the above does not solve your router, then proceed as follows:

    (3) Please indicate your ISP

    (4) Please indicate the make and exact model of your modem (not the WRT610N) number.

    (5) Please do the following test:

Put your entire network.  Using an ethernet cable, connect your modem directly to your computer.  (Do not use the WRT610N for this test).  Turn on the modem and the computer.  Make sure you have an active Internet connection, then go ahead with what follows: (even if your Internet connection does not work, include this and move forward.)

Go to 'Start' > all programs > Accessories > command prompt.
A black DOS window will appear. Type "ipconfig/all" (with no quotes), and press the Enter key.   Copy all results in your next post.  To make the copy, highlight the results, and then use the keys copy (Ctrl-c) and paste (Ctrl-v) keys.  If your "IP address" does not begin with 192.168, then for security reasons, delete the latter half of your IP address.

    Reset to factory settings *.

To reset your router by default, follow these steps:

    (1) turn off all computers, the router and the modem and disconnect from the wall.
    (2) disconnect all the wires of the router.
    (3) turn on the router and let it start up completely (1-2 minutes).
    (4) press in and hold the reset for 30 seconds button, then release it, then let the router reset and restart (2-3 minutes).
    (5) turn the router.
    (6) connect a computer cable to port 1 of the router (NOT to the internet port).
    (7) turn on the router and let it start up completely (1-2 minutes).
    (8) the power of the computer (if the computer has a wireless card, make sure it's off).
    (9) try ping on the router. To do this, click the 'Start' button > all programs > Accessories > command prompt. A black DOS window will appear. Enter the following text: "ping 192.168.1.1" (without the quotes) and press the Enter key. You will see 3 or 4 lines that begin with ' response to... ". "or"Request timed out". If you see "reply from...". ", your computer has found your router.
    (10) open your browser and point it to 192.168.1.1. This will take you to the login page of your router. Leave the user name blank and in the password field, enter "admin" (without the quotes). This will take you to your router configuration page. Note the version number of your firmware (usually found near upper right corner of the screen). Exit your browser.

If you get this day without problem, try the Setup disk (or configure the router manually, if you prefer) and see if you can get your work and router configuration.

If you can not ' response to... ". "in step 9 above, your router is probably dead. A report with this problem

If you get a response in step 9, but cannot complete step 10, is that your router is dead or the firmware is damaged. Related to this issue.

If you need additional help, please give the results of steps 9 and 10. In addition, if you receive error messages, copy them exactly, and report.

Please let me know how things turn out for you.

  • Connection to the Server VMware View farm doesn't not connections to the foreign gateway server?

We know a pernicious problem between our

I had something similar happen a year where every two days I have to restart internal broker for connections that was paired to the Security server.   We have opened a ticket with VMware support, and it took a good 5 months to get the issue developed and the solution ended up being to change a value of timeout on the file server.xml on the broker for connections.   I don't know if it's the same problem that you encounter, but if you already have a ticket open with VMware you can refer to our old 1147071161 SR and may save you time.

  • Win 7 cannot find the driver on the laptop to HP Deskjet 5600 connected to the office via WLAN

I have HP Deskjet 5650 color printer connected to desktop Dell Dimension 2400 under Windows XP Home Edition Ver 2002 SP3. I just bought a laptop Dell Inspiron N4110 running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit.

I am trying to connect to the printer via my home WIFI network running through a Netgear Wireless-N 150 WNR1000 router.

When I add a printer on the laptop, it shows on the list of printers available on the select a printer screen, but when he tries to connect, it returns with a message, "cannot find a driver for HP Deskjet 5600 series on the network.

I tried to locate the driver manually, but without success. I have an older HP laptop that is running Windows XP, which has always connected to the printer via the WIFI network very well.

Can I connect the printer directly to the new laptop via a USB port and it recognizes, installs and runs very well.

But I need accessible and connected permanently to the desktop from the laptop when it is connected to the WLAN.

Can someone tell me how I can get my new laptop to locate driver files on when connecting via the WIFI network, please?

    Thanks for your help!

    Very well!!  He finally got!

had to go to the properties of the computor, advanced system properties, system, device installation settings and game to install drivers from windows update if it is not found on my computer.

Then, it would finally be search on windows update for drivers, but would not yet find a driver even from windows update to the printer when installing it as a network printer.

I had to add a printer as a local printer, and then select Create a new port, local port, and the port name, I had to enter the path through the network computer to the printer (as "\\desktopname\printername").

Then and only then, did that pick me from a list of printers, and we found a driver on windows update.

Yet once again, I appreciate your help! Looks like we may have learned something from this experience.

  • I am unable to get ios mobile to connect to the Office Server, what can I do?

The number of the server is the same on mobile than on approx. desktop Mobile application gives an error message stating cannot download archive server. What can I do to fix this?

I assume you mean the developer app PhoneGap and the desktop PhoneGap app?

    If so:

    • Your device must be connected to the same network as your development computer.
    • Make sure that the versions of the PGDevApp and PGDesktopApp are up to date.
    • Try with a freshly created project - if it works, something can be upward with your particular project.
    • Add ports that pgdesktopapp uses to your firewall settings so that data can flow freely. You can temporarily disable your firewall to see if that's the problem.
    • You may need to add an exception to your antivirus software. Again, you can temporarily disable the AV to see if it is causing your problem.
  • Slow connection to the view field Pool Win 7 Desktop VMs Desktop after the installation of Microsoft Securty Essentials

Hi, we have an environment VMware View 5 with Windows 7 Fund pools built (near 30 virtual machines). The VMS connection time is fine until I recompose for Microsoft Security Essentials - almost 40 sec, max 01 min.

But after I install Microsoft Security Essentials on the basis of gold and recompose the linked clone desktops, the connection time is degraded on office pools because it takes almost 03-04 mins for just the domain user name. I tried this a few times and it's always the same result. Each Desktop VM have 02 GB memory assigned & we have RAM sufficient on the hosts as well.

Any ideas? It's just temporary & interim solution until we get the McAfee solution MOVE in place as an AV is important for desktop computers because they are not destroyed log off & still exist.

Waiting for the useful suggestions or the idea. Thanks in advance for the help.

  • Slow connection to the mapped network drive

    Here's my situation.

We have 10 workstations, all on the same, all computers running windows 8.

We have 1 router, 1 switch and a SIN.

9 computers can access our NAS with ease via the network of navigation or the mapped network drives.  The 10th computer cannot even open the network folder, or the network mapped drives when they appear she clicks 'This PC' falling down.  In fact, the PC 'that' fall down, never actually opens.  The green bar loads the top of the page, but never actually opens.  The network folder, does not yet appear.

She is able to ping the NAS very well (as well as other machines) and that it can access the NAS by opening a program (word or excel for example) and then opening a folder and navigation, but it is obviously very embarrassing.

    What gives?

Why can she access the NAS in a program like Word or Excel, but not of navigation?
