• Get the end user to refresh the Desktop view

  Is it possible to give the end user access to Refresh (roll back to the original state) office. IM taking on refresh does not reset. ?

  There is no way to do this via the customer to view.  You could always give locked permissions on the administrator view page or simply put the desktop computer to refresh on logoff, so that it is regenerated each time.

  We do not know when the update is available from Microsoft.

  However, you can view the Microsoft Download Center for published updates frequently.

• Can you take screenshot without permission from the end-user? Help, please!

  I recently submitted an approved application that is available in the app world. Screenshots takes in the game to make animations faster. The question is, in order to take screenshots, you must use a secure api and not the end-user give "permission" for the app to 'save '. End users are reluctant to 'accept' because they think private information are used, etc...

  Question: is there a way to make a capture of screen-app without the user 'approve' record? OR should I just, but a little warning at the beginning saying... "the following approval is needed to make the application faster, but no private info is obtained, etc."

  What do you mean by scenarios?

  End-user monitoring is done in 2 ways:

  1. an agent Foglight (Robot), who exercises the demand and performance and availability reports. You tell the agent which pages and flow of exercise and it does in different intervals of time and reports performance/availability to Foglight.   I came across this site: http://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2015/02/how-to-customize-the-new-vsphere-6-0-web-client-login-ui.html you may be able to use the same concept with the files of the web portal.

  Here are a few files that seem to be toward the top of the portal page: C:\Program VMware View\Server\broker\webapps\portal

  You could probably modify these files to suit your business needs. But of course, this would not be a change in support.

  I already have a PDF (not created by me) I have to edit but cannot work out how to enter into new fields of text instructions, I create. I tried to do in InDesign, but the text gets just covered by the blue shape box when you view the final PDF file.

  

  Follow the instructions as default value for the field and then reset the form.

  No, not at all. Similarly, Applications (in the Finder), start you Mac applications. In the latest versions of Mac OS, you can also use the launch pad, which does the same thing.

  If you think that it is which means 'open', or 'start' or 'run', it would be better, but the 'launch' is the official word from Apple.

  1. download and install the reader - http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  or

  2. go to: Mac/HD/Library/Internet Plug-ins and trash the files AdobePDFViewer.plugin and AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin and let you preview your default viewer for PDF files in Safari.

  The first being easier and better of the two.

  During installation, a facility agreement indicates that you are aware of the risks of installing software, and you agree not to distribute (or redistribute) drive without a proper license from Adobe.

  "Using" player invokes another agreement, specifically about the things you can do and do with PDF files by using the application.

  To accept it...

  Windows:
  Go in C/Program Files (x86)/Adobe/Reader11.0/Reader and double-click the file eula.exe.)

  Accept the agreement when it opens.

  Mac:
  Go to Mac HD/Applications and double-click the Adobe Reader application.

  Accept the agreement when it opens.

  I'm new to ESX and wonder how a user can access a virtual machine created on an ESX Server. Say I create an ESX Server and install 4 XP virtual machines on this subject through VSphere how an end user can get to anyone of them?

  they need to know everything about ESX.  A simple method would be to give them each a name of the PC and using RDP to connect to XP desktop in this way.

  Another way, such as mentioned would be to use VMware View and establishment of a broker for connections and users access their desktop computers through the Client view.

  First post, newbie here, so please forgive me if I post in the wrong place, ask repeated questions, etc.

  My company in Chicago, IL, United States is greater than 50% virtualized in the data center and now wants to unfold VDI. I am preparing a Proof of Concept to test the VDI on about 20 desktops with pre-determined, early adopters. (If we do, we will have about 2200 VD on 22 sites.) I would like to offer a test script to each of my testers in order to document the terms of use and present it to management for a yes/no decision. Someone at - it examples of scripts for forms (links, web-based surveys, documents, etc.), they used in this process? Is this still a good idea to document these data physically? Any help/thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  Also - off topic, but I'll keep it simple. I see that the people, answer the questions asked on sides. Probably just me being stupid, but I can't find a place to record these people as useful, etc.. Where can I find these buttons?

  I do not have a specific UAT script for you - but I encourage you to run some tests on each system of base features and document the results. UAT should exercise key features, the end user must be able to perform their work. They should be able to connect to file shares, specific intranet sites, specific internet sites (as applicable), you connect to and launch the required applications and generate a quick report or something - just enough to demonstrate that they can get their work with the new tool. Overall, UAT should not last more than ten minutes - nothing more and you will get a lot of complaints, much less, and you can not test enough features.

  In some environments, you need to may not be not ALL test systems - you might be fine with sampling random or systematic systems and then have a test more complete which can be performed in the case of a complaint of the end user.

  The user get the error message "no access" if he/she do a right-click on the outline and click on view?

  I created a test account, it put into service with access to the server on the Essbase server and read access to the application. I got the same error message you mentioned when I double click on the general plan, but managed to open it with the option "View".
