• How to add the link change in the detail view of the interactive report?

  I use APEX 5.0 on 11g XE.

  I have an interactive report displaying multiple records with a column of link which is one of to an edition for the registration page. All the standard stuff 'wizard generated. I have also created a layout of the detail view. It all works very well.

  However. I want IR to show detail discovers all the time and hide all Toolbar IR. How can I show the link change in the detail for each record view?

  Y at - it an easy way to do this by adding a column reference (something like: #LINKCOLUMN #?) or do I need to create it manually with an < a href... > tag. I guess that this method would require me to generate a checksum with apex_util.prepare_url?

  You are mixing HTML/model and SQL syntax. #CONTACT_ID # does not substitute for CONTACT_ID value in the query. The column value should be included in the URL before calculating the checksum:

  ...
  apex_util.prepare_url('f?p=' || :app_id || ':14:' || :app_session || '::NO::P14_CONTACT_ID:' || contact_id, NULL, 'SESSION') url
  ...
  

  Note that substitution integrated always strings need to be referenced as bind variables in SQL to avoid unnecessary analysis.

• Effect of Zebra in the rows of interactive report

  Hello, I have a question about the interactive report. Is it possible to put lines in the display of the report with zebra effect. I know that highlight line will bring closer the colors in the rows. But I need color alternating lines with no strings attached. Help, please!

• Interactive report error when filter

  I'm new to Apex and get the following error when I create an interactive report:
  
  "Invalid rowset requested, the data source of the report have been changed.
  reset the pagination.
  
  This error occurs when I scroll through the pages of the report and to say the third page of data. I then apply a filter to restrict the data returned unless a page worth of data, click on 'Go' and get the error.
  
  I searched the forum and understand that this happens as Apex tent still 3 pages of data appears when there is only a single page of a data value and I know that I need to reset pagination somehow, but I can't find a way to do this. I tried to create a process to reset the pagination, but this does not appear when you click on the 'Go' button on the search bar of interactive report.
  
  I tried to reproduce this in my workspace Apex online, but it works very well there. I think it's probably using version 4.0 in line, but my company is always on the 3.1.0.00.32 version.
  
  Is this a bug in the version of Apex that I use or is there a way I can reset the pagination on an interactive report (when the user clicks the "go" button)?

  I think that you are hit in a bug, we have corrected after we released APEX 3.1. When you see the following message, "Reset Pagination" should be a link. Click the reset pagination:

  "Invalid rowset requested, the data source of the report have been changed.
  reset the pagination.

• IMAGE Blob of a view in an interactive report.

  From a view, I create an interactive report. Two tables of interest are the view:
  
  Customers (ID, name, Logo, Mimetype, Filename, Last_Update_Date)
  Projects (ID, title, CustomerID)
  
  View combines the two in
  QryProjectDashboard (ID, Title, CustomerID, CustomerLogo, LogoMimetype, LogoFilename, LogoLastUpdateDate)
  
  I hope that the joints and such are obvious.
  
  In preparing the report, I add all the columns above the view. In the settings field customer Logo, I tried to put in place the mask Format download BLOB that requires:
  
  1. the format of the mask = Download
  2 blob Table = QryProjectDashboard
  3 column = CustomerLogo Bob
  4 primary Key CustomerID = 1
  5 Col MimeType = LogoMimeyype
  6 Col Filename = LogoFilename
  7. last Udate pass BLOB = LogoLastUpdateDate
  8. content-disposition = Inline
  9 Download Link Text = DOWNLOAD
  
  BTW, I use all caps in the views and input fields, and double checked all the spelling.
  
  By clicking on apply in the format mask window is ok, but when I click on apply in the column definition window, he complains of 'QryProjectDashboard' does not exist. So, it doesn't seem to like the view.
  
  So the problem by using a view? How to wire to the top of the Blob object if the report is based on a view? All foreign keys are set up, and there is no private known issues.

  I have not tested with view.
  But as workaround, if you just write even select in region report that you have in mind. Then use actual table to the BLOB format mask.

  2. right click on the ECO, click on change permissions.

  3. Select the user/group and give at least 'see' access to the ECO. (Otherwise you can give view permission in the GLOBAL group).

• Interactive report - Can customize you the search bar?

  I create a simple interactive report. By default, the search bar is above the report results. Is it possible to add another button in the search bar?

  If you already have a button that works the way you want, then change according to step 1

  Step 1.
  You create a button named P100_REFRESH , to specify attributes of button id = "P100_REFRESH" (same name as the button yor used), this so that you can easily access this button in javascript.
  I don't know what that your "Refresh" is supposed to do, I guess it is to reload the page. You can do this by calling the builtin function + 'window.location.reload () +. To call this Javascript when the button is clicked, you must change the button action to * "Redirection of URLS" * then enter the target URL * "javascript:window.location.reload()"*. To call any another javscript function button can be made the same. With that, you would have a displayed button somewhere in this region of interactive report of yours.

  Step 2.
  The next step is to move the button in the search bar you wanted.
  I'm going to place the button after the 'Actions' + button for example_
  Now the action button can be found in jQuery (because it has a class of "apexir_ACTION_MENU") using the * $('div.apexir_ACTION_MENU') *
  So to move your button based on it, you can call

  $('div.apexir_ACTION_MENU').append( $('#P100_REFRESH') );
  

  You can put this piece of code in the * "Run when the Page loads" * section of the Properties Page, as she is called when the page loads and move the button to the specified position.

  Send a report as an e-mail requires an SMTP server. You must configure your instance settings to point to the SMTP server.

  I've created a simple interactive report. I also deleted for the end user to modify the "lines per page' in the interactive report. How can I change this report (as a developer) to display only the 10 lines per page. I've been looking around but can't see where to change this setting.

  First enable end user can define lines per page. (that you have disabled)
  Run the page. The lines per page value to 10.
  Save the default report in the action menu.

  Then clear that end users can set not lines per page.

• Default appearance on APEX interactive report

  I'm working against the latest version of the APEX. I created a simple interactive report based on an SQL query. When you run interactive this report there is a gray bar directly above the search bar at the top of the browser window. Does anyone know which file needs to be changed to get rid of this?

• Add radio button to each row of an interactive report: possible or not?

  First of all, let me explain what is the point of this application.
  I do an application that allows you to select an item in a drop-down selection list. This list is a list of food categories. Suppose the user selects "Fruit."
  Then the page refreshes and shows an interactive report with a list of foods which belongs to the category of fruit.
  
  This is where I want to change things:
  I want the user to be able to view the interactive report, but in this interactive report, I would like to add a button for each row.
  Then, when a certain type of food is selected (say "Strawberry") via the radio button, a text field should appear under the interactive report. In this textfield, the user can then add the weight of the food, and then it will calculate how many carbs in strawberries there.
  
  All that I really want to know is:*.
  How can I add an option button to each row of the interactive report, and how to bind this option button to the value of that particular line? *

  We tried to create an interactive report on a view with an outer join. It generated an error indicating that there is not a single column to identify the row. What APEX rule uses to identify the column that should be identify the line? Select statement should the correct column in the table that provides the extra lines to be one that is identified in the view?

  This is your link to the unique view of the record.

  Delete the link; make your view preserved key (so you can use rowid) or identify a column to uniquely identify these lines for Apex.

  This is done in the link column settings in the report attributes.

• Interactive report gives ORA - 20001:error

  I am reading a table of SQL Server and displays the output in the interactive report. SQL Server read via database public and connected to the database link Oracle via DG4MSQL. The error I get is:
  ORA-20001: get_dbms_sql_cursor error ORA-02070: SQL SERVER database does not COUNT in this context
  
  However when I run the same report as usual report it works fine.
  
  The SQL query behind the report is:
  

  SELECT * FROM TRANSP_COMP_V;

  The code behind the display is:

  (1) used instead the name of each column * and got the same result
  (2) Rebult and respected the view several times. No problem during compilation
  (3) tested and ran the view independently and the SQL query in SQL Studio without any problem
  
  Is there any restriction on the interactive report during playback of the external data source (such as SQL Server through ODBC)? The error itself is confusing, as I'm not using COUNTY anywhere.

  Using APEX 4.1.1 running in the Oracle Database 11 G R2 (windows x 64) (topic 23)

  It may be different depending on the style of the selected candidates paging - as long as total nbr of lines is not indicated, he might be allowed.
