• View 5.3: video performance worse PCOIP

  Hi, we evaluate 5.3 view and we found problems with the user experience. See 5.2 for us seems better, but we can't find the explanation:

  1-view direct connection of the Agent (VADC) disturbing Flash video. It's really strange, but when connect us directly to a computer virtual with VADC, Flash video is jerky. More strange, if the mouse cursor is on the video, it's OK, but apart from the video, it's bad. It is easy to test: connect to view VM directly with VADC (no not from VCS server), open the Youtube video and test. This disorder is not happen when Connect Server VCS. We have opened a ticket for Vmware, but we get no help. • Permutation of position of list view for dynamic video clips

  Hi all

  I have a question that is difficult to explain. I have a class file that loads an external XML file, analyzes the main nodes in an array, and then creates a movie clip instance for each of the nodes, the text inside the movie clip based instance fields on the child nodes in the XML file.

  Each added movie clip instance dynamically has a built in clip that acts as a tab. I have update the dynamic text of this integrated clip, based on the name of each main XML node.

  Now, where I'm stuck, it's that I have attached an event listener to each clip tab which is created dynamically within the video clip. I want to do is when the user clicks on this tab have this movie clip will move to the top of the list of display on all other dynamically created movie clips. My problem is that I don't know how to get correct references.

  When I create movie clips dynamically I store objects in a table. The problem seems to be that the event is triggered for a clip inside the dynamic clip so I don't know how to reference the clip parent. Maybe it's something else, but I don't know how to refer to the main movie clips that I want to switch.

  I hope that makes sense. My main question is how can I use the swapChildren or setChild functions when you click the clip is in the clip I want to change in the display list as well as the fact that this clip is created dynamically.

  The TV is recently launched by Sony, which made me buy this model.

  But the first day itself, I came across a problem with this model. I wanted to see some of my photos and videos, so I plugged my external USB drive (320 GB). I discovered this, he can not display my photos and videos in the directory view. He picked up any random photo/video to display from the hard drive.  In the thumbnail view, I could see of 27 items which were taken at random on the hard drive, and every time I connect it to the TV, I see some photos/videos at random that did not exist on the hard drive.

  Among the Options, button, tried to switch to view folders, but it also did not help. Only a few cases were projected, and that too not in any order, a few files randomly were chosen who have entered.

  Contacted the people at the showroom where I bought this TV and discovered that the problem was with this model ONLY. This model was taking too long (waiting at least a half hour load the photos and still did not get the pictures/videos in a correct view). They tested on various models (KDL-32W700B, KLV-40R452A, KDL-50W800B) and all these models supported the correct view and order, and he was also able to load the external hard drive fast enough.

  Apart from this, the bluetooth pairing happens not on this model. It seems that there is a serious problem with this model.

  In addition, contacted the people from sony who came to the demonstration and installation of the TV. Giving random answers to format the hard drive!

  One of the possible reasons could be the speed of the internet thanks to which time can take to the buffer. It has one or more of the following could cause this;

  ·         The Internet connection speed

  ·         Amount of RAM (Random Access Memory) used on the computer

  ·         Amount of memory available on the computer

  Method 1: You can pause the video and let the video buffer for a few minutes before selecting the 'Play' button again. Giving the download a few minutes to catch up while the video is paused can help solve the problem.

  When the bar of State indicates the video transfer or the download is complete, resume playback of the video using the controls.

  Method 2: You can also contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to check connection problems.

  Update: after spending some time trying to find a solution (update of flash, silverlight and java, delve into Active X controls in IE9 and learning of abput codecs) I finally gave in and calle HP tech support. The man led me through more hoops. It said that IE9 has several incompatibilities with laptops - who knew him. I downloaded IE8, removed IE9 and voila! no problem reading streaming of videos. Hooray.

  Tech did a great job and the computer is back to normal.

• What program CC do you recommend for viewing and organizing videos?

  Quick history: I have more a TB of family video clips.  Some are mine, some are old family movies transferred from the 1960s and others are video clips taken during the meetings and weddings of members of the family who chose to get something from them. I did the photography for years and use Lightroom & Photoshop.  Now with my CC account I've been teaching myself how to use first Pro, so I can start working on this family project.

  Question:  I'm looking for the equivalent of Lightroom for the video.  A program I can use to import my clips, rename, organize, see metadata, discovers, perhaps minor edition & trimming, rate/flag, and (perhaps more importantly) to allow a kind of keyword tagging.  Then open for more extensive editing in Premiere Pro.  It would be great if, like Lightroom, the finished project could then be exported in finished format I need.

  What I tried: I understand that Lightroom can import video, I tried with a sample of clips, but found LR limited to work with videos (which makes sense).  There are many programs CC that I do not know the function of.  I read a little on the prelude, but I can't find a recent tutorial on Lynda.com; I tried searching "Adobe Prelude", but that only turned up prelude CS6 workshops April 2012?  This makes me wonder if the program of the prelude is not very popular because tutorials of his updated version are not available or in high demand? (Research on Lynda.com for 'Adobe Prelude CC 2014' nothing found).

  So that's where I thought the Adobe community would be an excellent resource.  What are 'video people' out there to help?  And that I should stay away from?  thank you so anyone who can take the time to share their expertise and help me launch this project on the right foot.

  The question of change of naming conventions and/or native folder hierarchy has little to do with the solid state media and everything to do with the data container and header that connects audio/video broadcasts with metadata, allowing the content or the 'essence of media' decoded properly and play.  Is the reason to use a tool like prelude or first media browser or even bridge or Lightroom or a third-party tool like metafuze or shotputpro or software format camera record dedicated like sony xdcam clipbrowser or panasonic p2 browser, redcine x, ect, as these tools are designed to analyze A decision-making / changes correctly syntaxed data and make sure v metadata is integrated directly in the media or in the prelude and first case container can also be enrolled in a sidecar XMP file, which is a flavor of XML that contains all the metadata of original capture associated as well as changes or additions made through these tools.
