• Still having trouble with the Adobe viewer

  I always feel the question when I have several objects of State (State 1 is off the page, State 2 is on the page) the hidden state (State 2) appears on the Adobe viewer iPad when you click on the | icon in the menu at the top left. In the decorative Panel to the creator 'tap to play/pause' is not checked.  "Cross Fade" and "Hide before playing" is checked.

  Any help would be appreciated!  Thank you!

  What I was able to determine: oject to the containing all States.  The State where there is no object in view must appear first. (any number of State it is, just need to be first in the list)  When I did it for my MSO there was no problem viewing!  Please point me in the right direction. much appreciated!

• Performance issues HTML Article in the Adobe Viewer on iPad

  I created an HTML Article using DPS, but when I get to post it on the Adobe in iPad viewer content does not scroll smoothly and the content is cut and cropped (the entire page is not displayed), it is very judery and struggles to make the HTML below "the fold" so to speak.

  I tried two import HTML options in DPS and both have the same isuues of performance/gal.

  I have a video in my HTML code, which seemed to be causing a problem where the video streaming was struggling to be pulled through, so I have treid YouTube and Vimeo video streaming and performance/display problem is not resolved. I then tried embbeding a mp4 directly using HTML5 to see if it was a connection/band bandwidth issue and the problem persists. However the videos play, it's just the fact that the container is cropped in half.

  Sometimes the HTML item makes it, but then when you scan save the page he struggles to render the above content? Also, then when drag you to the bottom of the page content is also cultivated that was visible before?

  I went through every discussion available on the Adobe community and other resources, but all of the mentioned patches have no effect.

  If anyone can help or knows the same problems any advise would be welcome.

  Article HTML contains some JS too, it is not working properly, but I was wondering if JS causes problems? Just a thought.

  Well, I think I can find the answer so I thought I would share with the community incase anyone who knows the same type of questions.

  After testing another piece of HTML that also included the video in streaming and JavaScript heavy, I have narrowed the question to my JS. I had two Nivo Slider carousels which were the road to performance issues.

  The other test HTML Article scrolls smoothly and video shoots as expected, although from time to time there is a slight delay in the page to scroll up and down, but it's barely noticeable.

  I hope it can be useful to others in the future?

• Videos do not play in application in the Adobe viewer offline

  When I try to play videos in an "app" in the Adobe Viewer, I get the error message that the media could not be read and that I should check my internet connection. But the videos are embedded in the app and not just a link url. I did with videos of the app in InDesign in 3 years and it has worked so far offline. What's wrong?

• Adobe Viewer App ipad Bug?

  I use the Adobe Viewer on an ipad4 application. After the last update folios I download and view are fe. After an hour's drive when I put the ipad a standby. I always have to redownload issues. But if I go to the questions/remove parameters, it still shows the uploaded questions.

  Any solution?

• Adobe viewer crashing on ipad

  My presentation DPS unexpected closing of the application from the Adobe Viewer on ipad.

  I have notified that he got only in my article that many States several objects and buttons in the same table of contents pages. In 3 pages, I made about 20 buttons creating 20 pop-up (States multiple objects), and each State has 2 buttons inside. (a link to a page in the same article one another to close the popup window). All the functions work but then crash after 4 or 5 times enabled. Each pop-up window links to another page in the article. My presentation was about 60 pages.   Viewer application can Adobe does support a lot more interactivity in the same article?

  Is there a maximum of pages for an article?

  The format of my article is in PNG, is it better to PDF? May this be the problem?

  I'm looking for a solution, I tried many things but whenever it crashes again.

  Thank you very much for your answer. Finally I found the problem, and it was not on the number of links, overlays or buttons. Good news, the Adobe viewer can support each other! Maybe the iPads are performing better than expected!

  The problem that caused the abandonment of inexpectedly was in my overlays. My content pages 3 presentation as a directory of the logos that links to a description of each page. With my pop-up windows, I created a transparency mask that covers all 3 pages by making a rectangle the size of a standard page 3times. Don't know if you understand...? But the fact is: it is not possible to create an overlay than interracts on several pages at the same time. Overlays should be inside the workspace, 1024 X 768px in the case iPad.

  Also, I tried to import as a PDF instead of PNG, but it created a blur when I got to the link on the article page. PNG is probably better.

• Adobe Viewer interface of conflict

  I'm developing an App catalog for the company that I work for the use of DPS tools.

  For reasons of design, I am obliged to put a series of interactive buttons at the edge all the way down the screen so that they do not interfere too much with the rest of the design.

  Test the application inside the Adobe viewer it seems to work correctly. My only concern is that so look near the edge of the screen may cause a conflict with the viewer interface (the white bars that appear at the top and bottom of the screen) or by the iPad interface.

  So my question is: these white bars always appears when the application is published to the iTune store? The buttons are likely to conflict with other interactive features of the device?

• text of pixelation on ipad retina

  Hello

  I have an iPad 2 and an iPad with Retina display to test my folios. I have created a folio in horizontal format with settings 1024 x 768 pixels as it is the only horizontal iPad format, that you can select in Indesign (AFAIK). Now I'm checking my folio and on the iPad2, it seems well but on the iPad, retina, the text is pixelated. Help :-(

• Adobe viewer bug

  Looks like there is still a bug in the new Viewer from Adobe. If you completely close the Adobe Viewer on ipad application (no words, no execution context), you will lose all downloaded Issus. But if you go to remove problems in the application always displays the downloaded Issus.

• Interactive buttons, working on the Adobe Viewer, but not on the final application

  I had a lot of problems with interactive buttons:

  I made buttons with link with 'pageTo' and 'getURL' (and the "navto://Article#2" syntax).

  What I already know:

  • When you use the "navto" syntax, the first page is 0 (and not the 1 page);

  • I double check spelling of the Article and that's okay.

  the problem is that when I test the application with the Adobe Viewer on my iPad these links work well, but when I create the app and I test on my iPad .ipa file these links no longer work.

  I work on Mac.

  Apple and keep an eye on things here for an announcement on a fix.

• IPad retina always requires specifying the iOS SDK version in ADT AIR 3.7?

  According to this page, you must specify iOS SDK 5.1 in the ADT command line when you want to take in charge the retina screens:

  Is it always true for AIR 3.7 or is it now defaults to iOS SDK 5.1 and works for the screens of the retina without additional indication in the ADT?

  You need to use SDK 5.1 or a later version. AIR uses 6.0 or 6.1 now, so the retina is ok without any special tricks.

• Gray cover/photo strike thro' icon & Untitled in the Adobe viewer library

  Hi there, built a folio in InDesign while that connected with Adobe ID. In the content Library Viewer, both the folio which is obtained through the cable and the folio via acrobat.com, do not display the title of Folio and have grey blankets with photo strke through icons.

  I looked the problem as possible, and it could have been so deleted memory Viewer ipad, restarted ipad, reinstalled content player, signed in... same question.

  I saved the cover as long as jpg when you import section in the folio.

  Also, I get little miniatures of the articles of the folio empty thumbnails generator, just white. Maybe it's the question?

  However, when I tap on the folio in the content viewer, at folio works very well! Yay!

  Any ideas on getting coverage and future title in the library? I need to share with a client folio, but would like to get this sorted first.

• Adobe inspired iPad edition

  How was the table of contents created for adobe inspire iPad edition?

  Is this just a scrollable frame?

  In addition, the opening made with video animation or an edge is animate? is there anyway to tell?

  Really like the set up of the magazine and would like to do something simaler so I could understand how it was done.

  I guess you take about December 2012. Looking at the size of the file and how you download the first page is a video, not an animation on board.

  It doesn't look like the table of contents are a floating frame.

• iPad Retina icon removed when I publish

  Hi guys,.

  I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or if they know how to solve. In professional flash in the build settings for iOS it has no option to add an icon of iPad retina to 144 x 144 pixels. So I tried adding that many people have suggested like this:

  I'm under 3.5 adobe air publish with iOS in flash professional. I also try to build it for iOS version 4.3.5 and I tried to change in 5.1 and it still deleted this line for the 144 icon.

  I found a simple solution and don't know why I didn't do this first. I just needed to update Flash Professional CS6. There was an update available via the Adboe Updater and I didn't notice. This update allows you to download all the new sizes of icons for retina iPad devices.
