ViewObject attribute is not updated to the last LOV

I met the problem with LOV. Following the use case.
There is a form where the user fills fields and selects values from the lists of values.
Just after the user change the last mandatory attribute, triggers valueChangeListener on and values are to be stored in the database.
I noticed that the last attribute is not defined in the view object (it is not yet defined, I guess, because valueChangeListener is triggered before). I have to manually set.
This way, I have to get a LOV access and retrieve the selected value somehow. How can I do this? Is it possible to have this attribute set before the event to change the value?

You can delay your valueChangeListenerEvent. Try this code:

if(event.getPhaseId().equals(PhaseId.INVOKE_APPLICATION)){

in this way, your code will be executed during the Invoke application phase.

After update to the last version of windows 8, my mouse does not work on my computer no more. I use a "HAMA Optical Mouse AM-5000" and a 64-bit Windows 8 operating system to my office.
