  I was wondering if it is possible to do a full install of OBIEE 11 g, 11g and UCR o Windows XP database and then make a virtual image of which may be enforced in any ie Windows 2003 or Windows 7 platform. Additional configuration would be necessary or I would need just to Virtual Machine to run the image.

  I think the virtual image should be enough here and a few parameters on the use of the tool that you might image. I was just talking about the Image virtual SampleApp, this Oracle provides that there is no need to do a lot.

• Virtual image does not communicate

  Hi everyone, I am using vCenter Converter to create a virtual image of a physical machine. Then use this image to a virtual run on VMWare Server.

  I stopped the physical power, on the virtual server, went in, changed the IP to the IP of the physical machine. Now, the virtual machine's IP of the physical machine, but I can't ping this IP from other computers, or if I could ping other computers from this virtual.

  Everything else seems OK for me, do not understand what is missing. I've done it before the new VMWare Server 2 and the VCenter Converter VMWare Server and converter, worked fine before. Any suggestion is appreciated!

  Try ipconfig-all the on the host and the guest. Compare. All bridged LAN settings should be identical except for IP and MAC (it's a simple assumption).

• Windows 7 computer physical exported to the virtual machine and now will not boot on another machine

  What I tried to do is the following:

  Export/create a virtual machine from the current physical running computer. After it's done, I plug in the USB key which contains the files of virtual computer for a laptop and try to start this virtual machine. It does not start due to "recent changes". This probably means that the OS never will start, right?

  This seems odd to me, or I can't understand what is happening here. I thought that to have a virtual machine means that the operating system could not doing the physical machine, it is running on, but just saw it is virtualized OS/machine.

  I would like to "clone" a current physical machine and then run it on another PC is because we need to have a client machine, convert applications on it and then return either the image (if they already had a running image) or we have a complete script on how to convert/upgrade for that client applications so that the downtime will be minimal and maximum success rate.

  Windows 7 (desktop and laptop PC run this) 32-bit

  Some clients running ESX and we want to take a picture of that and do the same trick as for workstation

  I bought a copy of Virtualization Manager 2010 at the time where converter couldn't handle windows 7.

  Nowadays the 4.3 version should work well.

  As mentioned previously, the mebdedded in my computer is very outdated.

  On my site, you will find a howto for p2v 2008 r2 - this works for Windows 7 too - and it uses only free tools

• Duplicate packets from a virtual image with an activated binding

  I have two vSwitches:

  vSwitch0 that has the console (management network) connected to it.

  vSwitch1 which has an image of virtual machine plugged on.

  vSwitch1 has two cards physical in Active mode. With load balancing set "route based on the hash of the IP.

  On the virtual image, I added two network cards, hoping that I will have a stuck/aggregated connection. (2 Gbps).

  Now when I ping the virtual image or ping a resource frm the virtual image appears a duplication:

  Remove the second virtual NETWORK adapter in your virtual machine, which causes the problem.

  The vSwitch does not support this configuration.

  Even if the speed of a virtual NETWORK adapter is displayed as 1 Gbps, it really can be a lot faster (depending on your CPU speed) since it is a software based switch. The only limiting factor is the physical switch, which must be configured as you did already, as a result of the KB.

• Sync folder - shows new images, but they are not

  Lately I have had a few records that I could make a virtual copy or add metadata - when I right click to synchronize the folder, the shortcut menu shows that it is 30 new photos to import. When I click the sync button, the screen goes through the import phase and then a dialog box comes up saying no. Photos or videos found.

  No harm seems to come from this, but it is kind of annoying, and I still wonder and worry that I might be screwing something up?

  I checked and in a first time was surprised by the differences... but on further examination, it seems that they are the same except that finder has all the files, .xmp... then Yes, they are the same numbers in all cases, I checked.

  The text at the top left States the number of images in LR film now showing in a given folder (or collection) vs. the total number. It's maybe less, due to the stacking, or due to a display filter.

  OTOH, the total number of images LR can be easily larger than the number of presents, if some of these images in LR are virtual copies of image files.

  In addition to XMP sidecar files number of files Finder can also reflect sidecar JPG files, if you shot Raw + JPG. Unless you chose to see these independently within LR, they won't have the count of LR. Also other programs use their own, named differently, metadata sidecar files. County of LR may of course include images in subfolders, or not.

  The actual file content matching, with what we see within LR, so is quite problematic and indirect. Is IMO better to think the concept of file in LR, as a report database that was executed. No, 'what is in this folder"- but that, ' what are the pictures of this catalogue currently claim to be associated with this folder." This is how LR can always keep such a number, even though the record and the affected files are offline / missing.

  The Web site, in which I work is www.pestcontrolprofessional.com. On the upper left corner is the logo of the company. This load correctly in internet explorer, but I can't seem to load on firefox. On "AboutUs" page I can't also the image to load in FF. I checked the HTML to see why and I can not just come up with an answer. I'm sure it's an obvious answer. I've seen similar issues on this site but I can't find one that applies to this topic. Any help is appreciated.

  Maybe your allowed some ghost image parameters that are not supported by satellite Pro A100 or missing some drivers SATA or IDE!

  It is possible that you clicked the 'Block Images' item in the context menu by attempting to save an image.
  Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > content: Load Images: Exceptions - see the web content, pop-ups, fonts and language settings

  A way to see what images are blocked is to click on the favicon (Site ID icon) on the left side of the address bar.
  Click on the "More information" button opens the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "tools > Page Info").
  Go to the tab Media of this "Page Info" window.
  Select the first image and scroll though the list with the arrow pointing downwards.
  If an image in the list is grayed out and there is a check mark in the box "block Images of..." and remove this mark to unlock the images from this area.

  Your program still calls DAQmxCfgDigEdgeStartTrig() for all the tasks of the slave? If you do not do this, the devices are beginning to acquire data at the same time, and since you pass 0 for the timeout parameter to DAQmxReadBinaryI16(), out-of-sync devices could certainly time-out errors.

  In addition, you must ensure you start the slave devices before the master device, so that they're already waiting for a trigger at the start of the master device.
