  I need help clarify something with VMware HA.

  When I do manually our primary ESXI host, the VMs appear and restart on the secondary host.

  Yes virtual machines are restarted automatically, but it does not resume the virtual machine without interruption as DRS and provides that vMotion.

  Is there a way I can configure HA to not restart and resume the virtual machine in place without interruption?  If not, what are my other options I can configure in VMware ESXi do exactly, if any?

  HA is used in the event of a host failure, so there is no chance to migrate a workload (curriculum vitae) to another host. What you are asking for can be achieved with FT (Fault Tolerance) where a secondary VM is created on a different host and basically synchronized with the primary virtual machine. In case of failure of the primary virtual machine VM school can resume (almost) without interruption.

  Yes, you can use #vmkfstools-i /vmfs/volumes/datastore/VM/VM.vmdk /vmfs/volumes/datastore/VM1/VM1.vmdk

  For the record, the data store must be shared if you copy of VM and VM must be turned off. In the above command you copy VM.vmdk to VM1.vmdk and add the newly created with this existing VMDK VM.

  Product keys are bit-agnostic - they don't care if it's 32-bit or 64-bit.

  However, cannot legally use the recovery disk from one computer to a different constructor machine - as other licenses are not properly paid..

  There is nothing nonetheless to try all possible variations on the absence of character (there are only 25, after all the )

  Other than that, your best option is to contact the manufacturer and order a set of recovery disc for the machine. I do no download available for Vista with SP2 - but you can download Vista with SP1 and create the disc.

  Not sure what happens if you remove the card and put in a similar SD card. I would like to test it so that you know what to expect.

  I am trying to evaluate the Fusion 8 (I currently use Parallels). The problem is I have Fusion 8 is installed, but when I opened upward it reflect my Bootcamp drive i.e. programs that I installed on Bootcamp do not appear in the virtual machine. Surely I "m missing the point here? What are the settings I missed?

  For the issue you have encountered, please answer below questions:

  1. What is the way in which you use the Boot Camp with Fusion, create or import? -Fusion menu > New > install Boot Camp, you should see the icon of the drive BOOTCAMP.

  2. using Boot Camp 3 rd-party tools? Such as Parallels, etc. It can occupy the resouce of Boot Camp, please uninstall it first.

  3. did you stop the Boot Camp itself native mode?

  4 "Bootcamp do not appear in the virtual machine" - so, you have created the virtual machine Boot Camp and it works correctly? Or you do not see it in the merger?

  As the subject says, we back up our virtual machines via vRanger connection based on this record, they are in inventory / models and virtual computers. To ensure the backup all VM I would generate a weekly report that lists the virtual machines that are not in a folder. I am able to produce lists of virtual machines with the code below, but that doesn't really help me. I tried to use the name instead of "nom_de_dossier" data center with no luck. Is it even possible to do?

  I use workflow 'Request new VM' by default provided by prchestrator platform, but newly developed VM thr' this workflow is not added on the field that I select during placement workflow execution. However, once the virtual machine is created I can manually connect to it and add it to the field. Any reason, why it does not work when the virtual machine is configured? Apart from the configuration of the settings field and network with the infrastructure, is there anything else I need to do? • Anomalies of a virtual machine "not yet calculated.

  First of all, I read the other thread which asked this same question, but the answer he does not apply to my situation.

  I'm under VCOPs 5.8.1 in a test environment. To test VCOPs behavior that I put in place 5 scenarios that exercise the CPU using a freeware tool called HeavyLoad. All scenarios are different, but repeat their behaviour on not more than a weekly pattern. For example, scenario 1 works the CPU at a constant 25% and 2 peaks - a 75% the Mar of 5-23:00 and on Friday from 8-12 a.m.. example no. 5 running the CPU at 100% for 3 minutes and then stop for 3 minutes and it repeats continuously.  The scnearios began to run at the beginning of August, while they all worked for 2 months. There is no other application on the servers and no users connect.  It shows the spikes, etc., as well as anomalies and that makes sense howerver all 5 have not established "Normal" for anomalies. Interestingly, when you look at the dynamic thresholds, it "knows", for example, that Friday, 8-12 has a greater use because the dynamic threshold has increased.

  Supossedly VCOPs teaches what 'normal' anomalies and then can tell you when you have something that is the true anomaly. I want to test is once the anomalies have established 'normal', I want to add an extra pick and who should be able to there's a new anomaly. Basically, I want to prove that he can correctly identify and draw attention to the real anomalies. Anyone have any ideas?

  Anomalies and dynamic thresholds are closely related. Dynamic thresholds are the thresholds that are learned after 7 days and establish the slices tighter to the thread of what follows if or 4 weeks. When a measured value falls outside this dynamic threshold, it becomes a fault alarm. If a value falls under this dynamic threshold, it is not an anomaly. If your recurring data (at any particular time, it is important only if it is a vC model Ops may correspond to an algorithm to wait/predict it) who became a dynamic threshold will not be considered an anomaly. However, if you have measured values which produces ad hoc or irregular, this will probably double pop up like an anomaly alarm.

  If you want to test anomalies... Just do a value (metric) do not enter the dynamic threshold (indicated by a gray band on a chart). vC Ops he'll call.

  What is the operating system on the host computer. In the case for example of Windows 7, you may need to allow ICMP (ping) in Windows Firewall.

• Virtual copies not found in the Windows folder.

  I don't remember having met this before, so I'm going: I just created a virtual copy of some photos of my summer vacation and everything works fine. But when I need to access these photos right window (Windows / my images thats), virtual copies do not appear in my folder YYYYMM. Back to LR if they will appear there with an extension of 1/Copy. Right to the VC, then "Display in explore" will highlight the original folder, the VC is always not there. Part of the frustration is I don't remember what happens before (or) so I wonder if I accidentally changed settings.

  Virtual copies are "virtual". They do not exist in the records; so you can't look into a Windows folder to find them (and in fact, I think it's a bad idea for Lightroom users to browse the folders in Windows in any case, when you browse browsing in Lightroom).

  If you remember you could do before, that is, you're wrong to remember, there is never a convenient where the virtual copies appear in the windows.

  If for any reason, you need a photo for use outside of Lightroom (a photo, virtual or 'original' copy), you would have to export it.
