  I work at Sunrise a website and running for my photography and I have finally bought the web space, purchased the domain and was all ready to just pop up on the FTP in dreamweaver and go.
  
  When back in Dreamweaver, I would have found my site in different browsers to make sure it was working properly. It ran fine in Safari (I'm on Mac OSX Tiger) but when I saw in Firefox it all the slice lines are with blue borders around them and all align. I thought that this could well be the preview so I have everything uploaded to my FTP and site has been working well if I post it on Safari on my computer, but still in Firefox everything align and the blue border on the slices areas are there. My boyfriend he Preview on her parents computer PC for me and once again, Internet Explorer does the same as Firefox does.
  
  Can someone help me out here? I've never had this problem until I started working on my Mac, I used to do everything on PC but when I got to College, I had to switch to a Mac, and it started to happen.

  It is always easier with a link to the offending page, but casual
  and with little to go, I would say that maybe it's a border and/or transport
  ask the same question. All your IMGs have border = 0 applied to them? If not, try
  as the first.

• Using extension thickbox Gallery in DWCS6 for Web pages into slices in fireworks CS5

  After the design of my Web pages in Fireworks CS5, I exported in Dream weaver CS6, but I can't seem to place the extension 'thickbox' to my Gallery of aligned way. in other words, he refused to position horizontally left to right of my page.

  In the meantime, I am pleased to inform you that I found a way to solve the problem, I've reported here. The procedure is as follows: -.

  When you add the Gallery of "thickbox", and it will do align horizontally to the left to the right. First, select the 'Gallery' (generally the 2 default thumb nails/galleries) that you have added, simply go to your PanelCSS Styles"and under the tab 'course' adds the 'Display' property and then on the right, change its attribute to anything that is"inline". In this instance, Gallery "thickbox" changes the alignment in a way of landscape and is positioned from left to right. You could also try other possibilities 'attributes' of 'view' to see which could also give you what you want or same result. Once you are happy, you might move on to swap your tiles and filling of your galleries.

  It took a while to discover this.

  When I create web pages in Fireworks CS6 and use the slice then export the HTML, IE 8 and 9 makes the borders and misaligned pixels. But when I display the HTML in Chrome, Safari or Firefox html pages are rendered as I want to make it. I do something wrong and how can I get the html pages to display properly in Internet Explorer.

  States are used for animations or create things like buttons from scratch. Use the pages to design the pages of your site.

  In your place I only export Fireworks images and then to build pages in Dreamweaver with these images. Code HTML Fireworks is OK for prototyping, but as you can see, the HTML code that it creates is often not stable enough for web pages. If you want to use the HTML from FW, it isn't the spacers that cause problems. The problems are usually generated by the way the page is decided. To create the tables, sliced columns and lines must line up alongside and under the other, like a checkerboard. If the slices are staggered in the fashion of the brick, the table can be break. That's what you see in Internet Explorer.

  I created the site design Web within Adobe Fireworks, I exported after the tutorials.

  Everything works fine except one thing - text!  When exporting, sliced texts are transformed into images so I changed their image to HTML type.

  Inside of the HTML I write a simple text like < p > this text is wrapped in starting and ending paragraph tags. < /p >.

  It appears correctly as text when I open the page inside the Dreamweaver. But the problem is that the text background color. Can I change the color of it in properties, but I can't put it transparent.

  Someone has any advice how to do properly? I have also attached below two images that illustrate the problem. Thank you

• Strange behavior on Fireworks CS4 preview hotspots

  Hi all

  My students have created prototypes of 10 web pages in Fireworks CS4. Even if they are careful affect the hotspot links that fall below the line of division in the list of links, they see a very erratic behavior when previewing pages in a browser. All links worked views of students before sending me the files. When I consult their files, some work and some do not. I had the students create interactive links on the master page and then create additional pages by copying this master page.

  After that I gave comments to students, they returned to check their links in the Master Page. The links were all assigned to page names above the line of division in the list of links, even if they had initially attributed pages below this line of division. Interestingly, some of the links did not work even after doing this correction on th students files.

  I had the students export these files to PDF, and it worked very well. Can someone tell me why, when I open a file that my students sent me, the hotspots fail? I did the right thing by telling them to build their hotspots in the Master Page, then copy this page? What other variables could affect this result?

  Yes, it was an issue in CS4. It's been fixed in CS5 (I know because I checked). The only solution is to place the layer of hot spots on one of the actual pages. Create a sublayer in the web layer, place the hot spots in this sup layer and share this sublayer to pages. Navigation graphics can stay on the master page.

• CS6 PS 16bpc shape burst gradient of transparency problem

  Hello

  Huge first post, I tried to keep it concise, thanks for reading.

  The combination of:

  (1) image 16bpc. that contains a non-empty layer with the layer style to:

  (2) race: shaping Burst: degraded; and

  (3) transparency in the gradient (red > semi transparent white) race:

  causes the entire race to make transparent. Changing one of the points of (1), (2), or 3) causes the entire race visit as planned. For example, starting with an image with this combination of shape/16bpc burst/transparency in the gradient:

  -just hang out to 8/32bpc 16bpc renders the stroke properly. Switch back to 16bpc, the stroke becomes transparent.

  -just burst radius shape correctly renders the stroke (in the radial direction). Return to the rafale form renders the transparent stroke.

  -simply by changing the solid red gradient > white Uni renders the stroke properly. Change the solid red gradient > semi transparent white restores the all transparent stroke.

  8bpc + burst + transparency in the shape gradient = correct, partially visible

  8bpc + burst + solid shape gradient = OK, visible

  8bpc radial + transparency in the gradient = correct, partially visible

  8bpc + strong + radial gradient = OK, visible

  16bpc + burst + transparency in the shape gradient = incorrect, transparent

  16bpc + burst + solid shape gradient = OK, visible

  16bpc radial + transparency in the gradient = correct, partially visible

  gradient radial + solid = OK, visible + 16bpc

  32bpc + burst + transparency in the shape gradient = correct, partially visible

  32bpc + burst + solid shape gradient = OK, visible

  32bpc radial + transparency in the gradient = correct, partially visible

  32bpc + strong + radial gradient = OK, visible

  Comments:

  -The race is still there in this combination, such as applying also a shadow reveals the drop shadow is offset a distance by the thickness of the line, it makes it just completely transparent race.

  -The layer itself and the other layer styles are still visible.

  -C' is 100%/Actual Pixels (since it is sometimes a question). Interestingly, lower zoom of ~ 60%, the race renders correctly, but zooming in again, it becomes transparent. Navigation preview renders the stroke correctly at all zoom levels.

  -Flattening/pixelation still renders the transparent stroke.

  -Ditto for new/existing/duplicate files.

  -Ditto for sRGB/ProPhoto/no managed.

  -Even after purge

  -Even after rebooting.

  -Ditto for PSD/PSB.

  -Ditto for the x 32 (on Win7x64) and x 64 (on Win7x64).

  -Ditto for the disabled/enabled reduced GPU.

  I have a workaround, change of the slope, for example:

  Fixed red > red transparent; TO

  Fixed red > white Uni; and the blending mode to linear density parameter.

  It is very annoying, however, and is not always look the same. I'm conversion ~ 400 8bpc multi-layer psd 16bpc to eliminate a problem of widespread banding (several layers, gradients, masks, degraded and degraded styles), number with this combination. The conversion was easily addressed by lot for the 8 > 16bpc part, but lack the layer styles in this combination. Layers with this solution to workaround/combination of treatment must be done manually through combinations of different colors, orientations, amounts, etc. They are all unique compositions with little similarity.

  Flattening/merge layers in 8bpc first to preserve the race and then by converting to defeats the purpose of the conversion of 16bpc 16bpc to eliminate banding.

  Similarly, I use 32bpc Smart layers to these layers, but that means still to find the offending manually layers.

  Last resort I tried to convert in 32bpc, but some of the most exotic fusion used styles are not available in 32bpc; the files are already huge, some of them PSB, is another factor. and I have a lag of contrast when you convert 8bpc to 32bpc which does not occur during conversion 8bpc > 16bpc (they were initially created on a monitor not profiled with colors unmanaged [error made during the transition from sRGB CRT > wide range LCD]).

  For several months I was faced with a problem with Illustrator CS4:

  1. I have a document RGB wide high 169px 167px.

  2. I have an icon in the document with a wide rectangle of 167px background by 168px high, aligned with the bottom of the artboard.

  "3. by using both 'save for Web' ' and 'Export' options to save the file as a PNG, Illustrator"FILLS"the transparent part of 1px at the top of the image with the color of the rectangle.

  Therefore, I have a PNG which is wide and high with a background of the rectangle that is too wide and high 169px 167px 169px 167px.

  What I want is a PNG which is wide and high with a background of the rectangle that is wide and high with a 1px space in high 168px 167px 169px 167px.

  Dimensions of the output in the "Save for Web" dialog box are correct, and it shows even the transparent area of 1px upstairs in the preview area.

  YES, I checked in the 'save for Web Options' 'transparency '. I know HOW to save with transparency and have done it successfully before countless times.

  It is just seriously... has stopped working. I'm afraid, maybe I changed a setting that would do this, but I can't find anything even related to transparency for one PNG other than the simple check box in the dialog box "save for Web". I saw another forum where a user says Illustrator was "cutting" transparency, but this question remains unanswered as well.

  Are the x coordinates of your artboard numbers?

  Turn on also seen pixelated in the view menu. See anti-aliasing on the edges? You may need to disable the transparency grid in order to see more easily.

• Transparency without export problems

  I have problems with the picture transparency in InDesign when I import a PSD file.

  I hide the background in Photoshop, then I put the file in InDesign. The pale white of the background of original outline is still visible instead of completely transparent:

  It is exported in InDesign to JPEG, but I also see light in InDesign box when you view the file in preview overprinting, which makes me think this isn't a problem for export. It's all in the ROYAL Botanic Gardens.

  In Photoshop, I tried to remove all the layers under layer hidden just to be sure that they were not interfere - same results. And AFAIK the mask completely blocks the background because it is an opaque black, not a shade of gray.

  When I increase the size of the canvas and replace the image in InDesign, the extended canvas is properly transparent but the area of the original image is milky.

  This happened to me with several images recently, but not all of them.

  I am self-taught and certainly still a novice with ID and PS and I would be very happy to help a pro.

  Has taken some time, but I found the problem.

  If you open the image in photoshop and select the mask, then go to the channels palette and turn off the layers RGB you see that most of your mask is only 96% filled, so theree is 4% still watch white background (you just don't see), and that's what makes the change of context.

• Need help to export a header with slices to a web page

  I used Fireworkds CS3 to create a header for my web page. I used brackets insert links in the header.

  the problem is now I can not understand how to insert this header in my web page so that the URL still works...

  I see instructions anywhere on the web to export an entire web page in Fireworks, but can not make you an article as a header?

  I really didn't want to do the whole thing in Fireworks.

  What I would do is the bracket to the top of the header only image and use that as a background image, called via a style sheet for the background of the header div.  Create text links in Dreamweaver (or your editor of choice if you are not using DW).

  Much better option :-)

• working with Fireworks presentation in DW

  I designed a Web page in Fireworks and exported (.html and slices) to use in Dreamweaver, but I can't figure out how to work with it. I created a box intended to contain the changing content of the site and trenches around it to make a div before exporting. Once in DW, I apply CSS formatting to it and put in a text, which appears in design mode and mode live view, but upward on the web, it disappears.

  Do not export it as a library item. Export as images and HTML, and
  Then use the Dreamweaver Insert > Image objects > Fireworks HTML feature.

  Note that if you add text to the page you have exported the FW, you'll
  probably run into problems with the explosion of the table. If you want
  avoid this, then create your table in Dreamweaver and export the navigation bar
  Fireworks to your site of DW correctly set using the export area
  tool. Import the navigation bar in your DW page using the method that I mentioned
  above. Export the rest slices of your FW page image only,
  and then add them, one at a time, to your table in DW.
