  If so, you can uninstall the security software temporarily and check if you receive the access violation error.

  Hey all, about 2-3 weeks ago I formatted my computer with a disk I bought online (multi tools); formatting, catering etc. and most of my pilots have disappeared, although I fixed this problem on the internet. After all this time its telling me that I need to activate windows, I didn't know the product key to activate it, so I downloaded a tool to find, he writes in and got an error code; 0xc004f063, I read a lot of similar questions to this to find the answer the phone automated for your code (this was the result in which i made earlier for my laptop to friends).   If you receive an error indicating that your product key is not valid when installing Windows 7, it could be for the following reasons:

  a. you can did your product key. Try having to retype.

  b. you may use a product key that does not match the version of Windows Vista that is installed on your computer. Check the product key to ensure that it is for the version that you are trying to activate.

  Why Vista has suddenly decided to activate so often? OS is fully legitimate, fully serviced, all the installed updates blah blah.

  As such, I have no problem with the activation screen popping up, my main concern is if the activation of MS servers decide my product key was activated too many times and decided to tell me to go away (to say politely!), which would be pretty annoying because nothing on my hardware spec has changed over the last 4 months , and the only significant change was a year ago when I upgraded my HD because of an impending failure alert (SMART State). RAM, processor and motherboard were the same items from the first installation.

  Should he help diagnose etc. machine spec is:

If you have an OEM version of Windows XP that is preinstalled, so you will not be able to activate as all OEM versions are linked to the first computer / motherboard, it is installed on.
