Vista desktop taskbar tabs

I am running windows vista Home premium. When I open a program or to access the internet, in the taskbar tab to display on the left side of the taskbar. Now, for some unknown reason, the tabs are displayed in the notification area and sometimes there are multiple inscriptions on the same tab. How can I change this back my tabs appear on the left back side open in separate tabs when I have several programs?

It may be your Quick launch bar extending to the far right of the taskbar. Right-click on an empty space in the task bar and click on "Lock toolbar" uncheck the box. Separators in dotted lines appear, drag the separator to the right to the left, the tabs should move with the separator. Lock the taskbar.

To stop the collection of windows open on a tab, right-click on an empty space in the taskbar, click Properties. On the Tarkbar tab, click to uncheck the box in front of the "group similar taskbar buttons, click Apply and OK buttons to exit.

  • Failed to retrieve, I'm doing a full restore on my Windows Vista desktop

I'm doing a full restore on my Windows Vista desktop. When I click Start on recovery management, another box appears called Microsoft .NET framework. I hit continue, but it won't allow me to clikc OK to start recovery... At the end of the box, it is said when JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box. Any suggestions?

    Hello

These are the normal methods to use the process of recovery of the manufacturer:

    1. in a Vista operating system running, using the process of recovery of the manufacturer (Recovery Management, etc.), you use apparently.

    2. to start by pressing a particular key or set of keys (F10, F11, etc) according to the installer from the manufacturer...

    3. using the recovery disks provided, or the recovery discs that you made of their recovery Partition.

If you cannot access or use one of these methods, you will need to ask for assistance from your computer manufacturer while the recovery process is installed by them, not by Microsoft.

    Hello

Temporarily disable the security software on both computers and check if it makes a difference.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats.  In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

  • Windows Vista desktop appearance is not the way it should look like

I turned on my computer today and after that he started up - everything seemed liked Windows 98! What the devil? But some things like Word are always format Widows Vista - it's like a hybrid of old and new. My computer is a HP 2010 and when I bought it - it had installed Vista. Why is the theme of silver/gray old school Windows 98 on my office when it was never installed in the first place? And how can I change? Or is it a virus? so weird.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

Refer to these discussions because many more excellent advice however don't forget to check your antivirus
programs, the main drivers and BIOS update and also solve the problems with the cleanboot method
    first.

  • Logitech desktop microphone 600 does not work on the vista desktop

I just bought a logitech 600 desktop microphone. It is not a usb version, Ive plugged into the outlet of the microphone on the back of the tower. He acknowledges in the recording settings, but when I talk to it does not work? its not mute and volume is at 100%

    Someone knows how to operate?

    Hello

    ·         The microphone was working fine before and if if remember when you make changes to your computer before the onset of the problem?

Here are the troubleshooting steps you have to try to solve your problem.

    Step 1:

    (a) click on start - Control Panel

    (b) change Classic view - sound - recording tab

    (c) right-click in the empty space under Select recording device

    (d) show disabled devices: If the microphone is disabled enable it

Try you restart the computer and let Windows Vista again detects your sound card again.

    Step 2:

Make sure that you have installed the latest compatible audio drivers Windows Vista version, if not we strongly recommend to download the latest audio driver for your Web site to computer manufacturers for your sound card or onboard audio chipset.

Plug the microphone of your sound card / audio card mother (usually pink in color for micro) pine

    Step 3:

After that, go to control panel > sounds and Audio devices settings. Check to see if the microphone is detected by Vista. If this is not the case, check if you have selected microphone front or rear, as vista acknowledges their separately unlike windows XP. Correct the configuration of the microphone rear if necessary.

Check if the device is working properly by testing it on the other computer.

    Hope that helps,
