  Let us try these steps and see if that fixes the problem:

  (a) press Windows + R keys to open search Run

  (b) type regedit , and then click ok

  go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\BFE

  c) on the right, click it, click permissions

  (d) click on ADD and type everyone and click ok

  (e) now click on all

  (f) below, you have permissions for users, select full control and click ok

  g keys) press Windows + R to open Run Search

  (h) type services.msc , and then click ok

  (i) double-click base filtering engine service.

  (j) Make sure that the service status is started and the startup type is automatic

  (k) the procedure for the windows firewall service

  I just installed Dirt 3 on my new computer, when you are prompted to log in to my Live account. I put in my info, then the code of the key to the game.   Some time ago a friend bought a game for me (Dark Souls prepare to Die Edition) by Toys R us as a gift. I needed to connect with GFWL to save progress. I did, using my XBOX Live account. I played 40 hrs of this game, my PC is dead. It was during the summer 2014.

  Fast forward to now, I reactivated my Windows Live account and tried to install the game in my new computer. After that I set my account sign in problems (had to change my password three times until he acknowledged) the error message I now get it that the product key is registered to a different Windows Live account.

  There is no other windows Live ID someone else has access to my account STEAM or WINDOWS ACCT. To my knowledge none have been hacked. I was put through three individuals when I called them. No one knew that STEAM has been and has not yet recognize that GFWL is actually managed by Xbox apparently (have concluded that myself).   Adobe has disabled the server activation for pre CS3 products a long time ago and that's why you are unable to activate your product. I can not to suggest what to do, but I don't know that CS2 owners with this problem can download a version specially created that doesn't require activation. To my knowledge, no such version exists for CS. If it was me, then as the real owner of the software and just unable to use it due to having no mechanism to activate, I download CS2 and use it until someone from Adobe told me to stop. It is a sensitive issue because the download site clearly indicates that there must be an existing CS2 owner. However, the url to the download was posted the pirate not many Adobe Web sites not as a way to free download the CS2. I imagine that there have been hundreds if not thousands of downloads from 2013 when it became first available and so far Adobe has not made any attempt to restrict the download to current owners of CS2. Their policy is quite clear if CS2 is not given away for free. Fortunately, I use CC2015, I can't make a call on it, but the URL is below if you want to move forward.

  A little update just for your information. 2 days and 5 calls later (I needed to technical management, through the population of Activation - no direct number so sometimes the transferred call didn't work!) I now have a version of Windows active :) work

  However the question turns out to be that my legitimate version (package and all disks of good mine) and it's legitimate keys used did not match exactly.

  The unused key was for a version of Windows 7 Edition product update Home Premium to Windows 7 Pro, so that's why it did not work on the new facility I was trying.

  I contacted the seller amazon to let them know about this problem as it is possible that there is a lot that is perhaps not entirely legitimate.

  Once again thanks to the MVP here and people I talked on the phone before this is resolved, I suspect that this could become a problem growing with Windows 7, as people are not super keen on 8 and 7 is a solid BONE with a little support left? So even if you pay a rate of 'good' for your Windows 7 disks, be aware that you can not get exactly what you expected, and maybe it would be nice if MS has always sold direct to counter this kind of question?

  Sorry for the long title.  I thought that I was actually asking.  Why can't I update my LR LR CC 5.4?  I have an iMac 27-inch running the Mavericks.  I have a lot of space on my hard drive and have 16 GB of RAM.

  There is no CC Lightroom. You get the latest version (currently 5.4) with creative cloud, and the CC app so right to say that your LR is up-to-date. Unlike most other Cloud creative applications and Photoshop, Lightroom is not labelled as 'CC' because it is also available separately as a product standalone perpetual license. When 5.5 (or 6.0 - or even a CC version only) is available in the future, the CC app should invite you to update, and then in the meantime, you good to go.

When you left click on "Options of the announcement" another tab opens offer opt-out within the service "Ad". When you click on 'Opt-out' the window shows the current state of the opt-out as 'Active' and warns against "once disabled, the service will cease to operate", but is not a way to change the current state of the "non active".   I have the same problem as well. The add-on is not compatible with Firefox 5.0, so it is disabled, but I want to get rid of, but there is no delete option. I think I found where: computer > Local C: drive > ProgramData > CodecCheck > firefox > chrome > content. Then, there are two JScript Script - crossrider and crossriderapi files. From here you just delete these two files and restart Firefox, or is there something else to do. I do not know, so if anyone could jump in at this point, it would be a great help. Thank you.
