  • Media Player 11 sound jerky at the end

I have Media Player 11 on my computer, and any time I play a MP3 song with it, from a file stored on my computer, the last 15-20 seconds of it the sound is still choppy, as is cutting in and out.  The rest of the song comes in clear weather and without any problem, it is always at the end, and just the last bit of reading.  Any ideas, or suggestions to fix it?

  • Image-but window Media Player no sound when I play a DVD

When I try to play DVD, there is picture, but no sound in my laptop.  I received a message from windows media player is COOD1163. May be is one to help me with this.

    Moved from feedback

    Original title: Windows media player.

    Hello

    1. who is the operating system installed on the computer?

2 - is confined to a specific DVD problem?

To resolve this problem, you can try to install the video codec and check if the problem persists.

A codec is a software to compress or decompress a digital media file, such as a song or a video. Windows Media Player and other programs use codecs to play and create digital media files.

A codec can consist of two components: an encoder and a decoder. The encoder performs the compression function (coding) and the decoder performs the decompression function (decoding). Some codecs include both components and some codecs only one of them.

More Codec please visit the following link:

If you are using Windows XP - please refer to this article:

Troubleshooting DVD playback in the Windows Media Player for Windows XP

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/306318

You can search your favorite engine and download and install the codec that is compatible with the operating system.

  • Windows Media Player - no sound for videos

Windows Media Player 11 - will play videos (.) MOD files) and the DVD but with NO AUDIO.  It plays music (.mp3) files fine with sound, so I know the speakers work fine.  PowerDVD program will play audio and video very well, but no Media Player (or RealPlayer besides).  I seem to recall having this problem of her before but was able to get it fixed somehow.  I had to reformat my computer during the winter well and now again manage this noise problem.  I don't know if it's a codec issue or what, and if it's a codec problem I have no idea how to fix this.  I use Windows XP SP 3.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

No guarantee... but installing an AC3 Filter can be

my windows vista Ultimate 64 player will not play any of my wma or mp3 files. said that I did not have the codex of right. but wma and wmv are windows. What's new?

    Hi rpwerner,

Please use the forum for Support of Vista,

This is a codec package from Microsoft you want to download to see if it will be useful.  Also, try to update your Windows Media Player and Windows Update to get the latest version of the codec required to play the type of media.

You can also use your favorite search engine to look for codec packs available on the web to help you read the content.

    Hello

Windows Media Player 11 has no native support for the mp4 file. You will need to install an MPEG-4 decoder for play. For more details, see the following article:
