  • *! NOT your Vista password usual problem - Incorrect password every time

    Dear Experts and gurus,

I've been using Windows for many years, but I've never met a problem like this.

I use a HP Pavilion dv6675us laptop and Windows Vista Ultimate x 64. I'm not an expert but I am reasonably competent.

Here are the symptoms and workaround solutions I've tried without success.

    1. my user account has a password.  The password has NOT been changed.  Or JUST changed the password and I KNOW what it is. Suddenly, last night todayafter a disconnect and restart the computer today, I can't log in again. IGet the message incorrect regular password. Vista Ultimate showsthe even index of password. However, we should not have the 'good' password.

    2. the only way to connect is to go into safe MODE and enter using my password. So, the same password works in safe MODE, but it does not work in Normal Mode. Even change the password cannot log into Normal mode.

The process does not work even if I empty the password via the SAFEMODE and try and connect via the Normal of Windows mode.

    3. in Safe Mode, I created a new account without password (empty), but that does not work either.

3A. If I create a NEW USER account (under safe MODE, then try normal connection). If the NEW USER password EMPTY he still does not go past the Welcome screen to log on to windows. If the new user has a password, windows does NOT yet recognize the password.

    4. I tried to click on the blue Accessibility button on the home screen, then select the type without keyboard. Then, I used the on screen keyboard to type the password. It works no more.

In short, the only way for me to access the computer is via safe MODE. I can't access Windows in Normal mode even if I set up the new USER with empty password, but I can access this new user even with a blank password in safe MODE, or if a password has been assigned, I can use a new password in safe MODE.

Can someone help me access windows in normal please? I would appreciate any Expert or guru can define a solution that works and which corrects this problem.

I have never encountered this problem before and would really appreciate some help.

    Thank you in advance.

    Finally a solution that works-

I used the restoration of the system under "Safe Mode" and takes over the system to the point a few weeks before the problem started and after what age seemed the old point has restored the system and I can connect in normal mode.

Make sure what you do all the backups of data necessary.  As far I can tell - I have not lost any data.

I tried several solutions, for example by trying to reset the user account passwords using a tool of the editor - that didn't work, I tried to clean the registry under safe mode - no luck, I tried to run anti-malware under safe mode software programs - but most antimalware programs don't work for vista 64-bit 32-bit only.   The programs that I've been able to run find no virus or malware so do not know what to do with why it happened.

But low line system restore worked.  I was very worried about the restoration of the system was the second last method I've tried - with a final by reloading the operating system - which fortunately I did not need to.

  • Password / login problem

    Hello

I installed oracle 10g. It works well, but after that it says "connection refused, unable to open a session" and I have password expiration date chked its null and I gave a date even then I face same problem. So I reinstall every day, but is there a solution to this.

coz I create my own picture space users and load some tables of soft working people. but I find connection problems. I saved the screenshots of db pswd / login I give evry time I load.

    .. KC

Oracle 8.1.6 is released in 1999. I didn't know that you can still download.

I installed 11g (2007) on a Windows desktop several times recently, and 10g (2004) is quite similar to the installation process and roughly the same configuration. 8i was probably similar, but I don't really know.

"ORA-01034: ORACLE is not available ' means that the database is not running (or possibly SQL * more couldn't find) so you need confirm if it runs or not and from there. However this thread is about 10g connection problems. You should start a new thread for 8i startup problems. If it is a standard user account password that you have forgotten, then log on the administrator account and change the password in the standard account for something, you'll remember.

  • Password/login

    Hello

My name is Keith Countess. I am interested in becoming a muse of adobe user. I was wondering if muse has the cabalitiy to put in a password/login? So that my members could access their own individualized custom profile.

I would also like to ask if I would be able to charge customers for products or memberships if were to put in these sections of the site?

I hope that my questions of meaning. Happy to clarify if I need to.

Very impressed with the muse of adobe

    Keith

    Hi Keith,

Features like the ability to register and you sign in with a username and a password is not possible directly in the Muse as he exits static pages only and is not interact with databases directly to perform functions such as user authentication, etc.. However, once you publish your site on Adobe Business Catalyst (which is homogeneous and integrated), you can certainly use its capabilities and various dynamic modules available directly in British Colombia to create login forms and record and insert them into the Muse pages in HTML format. However, be aware that any changes out of Muse, British Colombia, for example, will not appear in the Project Muse and there is no way to get the same thing in Muse easily.

Business catalyst allows configuration online stores, the gateways, payment and management of databases of the client as well. You can read more about it here - http://www.businesscatalyst.com/features/online-store

If you have any questions about hosting with Business Catalyst or one of its characteristics, in particular, please do not hesitate to post our dedicated forums of Business Catalyst - http://forums.adobe.com/community/business_catalyst

  • Win7/Satellite P200D - Admin Login - problem with keyboard - password is not displayed

    Hi all

My Satellite P200D has Vista Premium o/s, was about 5 years old now

Has worked well enough until the last of three months or more and developed a problem of restart.

Hit restart button and it stops, then after several attempts get it at startup and on the screen that shows the internal PC Repair or Normal startup mode option. The only way that I can get to the login screen is to click on Normal mode as the automatic repair option does not work.

Has decided to switch to Win7 to see if that would solve the problem.

Now there is another problem, and it's the login admin password screen. The cursor flashes and any attempt to type password does not visibly show the words you type.

Also tried and external usb keyboard does no difference

    Help, please

    Thank you

I have the Satellite P200D with Win7 32 bit and it works perfectly.

You have this keyboard problem when you start the operating system in safe mode?

  • Start-up/login problem. Vista starts by the boot sequence then cursor and black screen appears but nothing else.

My laptop recently locked up when running a DVD rip, I waited an hour or so to see if he would respond, but he didn't, so I turned off the laptop by holding the power button down. I restarted the computer and it loaded correctly to the logon screen and allowed me to log in as usual. Once the computer was connected, I noticed that the sidebar was not loading, and when I click on what whether the locked computer.

To try to remedy this I tried to start the PC in safe mode to perform a restore could noticed that I had not created restore points. I then tried to fill a start last known good config upward, it did not work. Then, I tried a CHKDSK/r procedure at startup. It worked fine until step 3 of 5, on which he seems to hang, I left it overnight and it was still on the same stage. So I have powerd off the PC and tried to start. But now, the PC is delivered to the black screen and the cursor as shown above.

I created the new folder of the event log of the prompt on the Vista recovery disc option

I did a repair to start - no problems found

I checked that regedit in this \Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon. shell contains only explore

When you are looking for through other Forums a cause of this problem appears to be to do with the permissions of the user being changed by the chkdsk does not complete, however I don't see how to fix this through the command prompt.

As noted, I can access command prompt on the recovery disk. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You already did a great job of troubleshooting - exactly what I would have recommended here if you had not already tried.  Play well!  Here is one that you did not and I would start one you tried (because I feel that it is perhaps the root of the problem.

Go to start / all programs / accessories / command prompt, right click command prompt and click Run as administrator (you can skip this step if you are using the disk).

If you use the drive, cd to C:\Windows\System32. Type sfc/scannow, go and let it run.  It will scan and try to correct some of your system files.  If all goes well he comes complete with no corruption, it could not repair (if it has these post of corruption here or try to analyze it to find the problem or files using http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928228.  Try to put all the corrupt files here so that we can see if they can be repaired with good copies of the installation disc (unless there are too many).

While in the command prompt, type chkdsk /f /r and enter and let it run.  She might want to plan itself to run at the next reboot (but I don't think that will happen if launched from the disk).   If so, answer Yes and restart to run the program.  It will scan and attempt to resolve any corruption or bad sectors on your hard drive and remove especially as a potential cause.  I know you tried this before, but we'll try again by using a slightly different command and see if it works this time.

I hope this helps.  If this isn't the case, then we should try to reinstall the system (backup first) as only option short taking in a computer repair shop. But we'll see what happens with the first above.

    Good luck!

    Hello

I hope that there is someone who can help me.

When I connect the iMac (el capitan 10.11.3), bought in February. 2016, with the admin account, there no problem.

When I go to the user & preferences of groups to make some changes to the same admin account, I try to unlock the admin account. I fill the same password but it keep nine of the 10 times saying the password is not correct. I tried to change my password but he repeats to me that the password is incorrect. I do not use my ID apple for this admin account password. I would like to open a session without trying 25 times or more...

    Thank you for your attention,

    Kind regards

First, please ensure that caps lock is not on. Note that on some models of laptops, the LED of the caps lock key may not work when you start up if FileVault is turned on. When shift caps lock is enabled, there will be an arrow icon in the text box where you enter the password. Build on this, not on the LED.

Another reason why the password can not be recognized, is that the keyboard (input source) in the login screen is not what you expect. You can select one of the available provisions by choosing in the menu flag in the upper right, if it is displayed, or even browse the by pressing the key combination command-space or command-option-space.

If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the password Apple ID, then maybeApple ID can be used to reset your password for the user account. In OS X 10.10 and later versions, this option also works with FileVault, but only if you have enabled when you turn on FileVault. It is not retroactive. If not, see below.

Note: If you have enabled FileVault, this procedure does not apply. Follow rather the instructions on this page, under the heading "If you forget your password."

Start in recovery mode. When OS X Utilities window, select

    Utilities ▹ Terminal

in the menu bar at the top of the screen, not one of the items in the OS X Utilities window.

In the window that opens, type this:

    resetp

Press the tab key. The partial order you entered will automatically end this:

    resetpassword

Press return. Opens a window to reset the password. Close the Terminal window to get him out of the way.

Select the boot volume ("Macintosh HD", unless you have given it a different name) if not already selected. You won't be able to do this if FileVault is turned on.

Select your username in the menu option allows you to select the account if not already selected.

Follow the prompts to reset the password. It is safer to choose a password that includes only the characters a - z, A - Z and 0-9.

    Select

    ▹ Restart 

    in the menu bar.

You should now be able to login with the new password, but will reset the keychain (empty). If you have forgotten the password for the keychain (which is normally the same as the password for the connection), there is no way to recover it.

Tried various things but no go.

After turning on the laptop start to tap the F8 key to enter the Advanced Boot Options. In the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to select Safe mode, and then press ENTER. Once in safe use system restore back to a date before the problem started. Click on the Start orb and in the search for the type system restore box. In the list that appears, click on system restore. Choose a date before the problem and run the restore.

Another way to get to system Restore_Immediately after turning on the laptop start pressing the F11 key. HP Recovery Manager opens. On the menu screen, select System restore- don't select System recovery. Choose a date before the problem began to be restored.
