    Hi Organist4ever,

Welcome to the Forum of answers Windows Vista.

To delete the cache file, follow these steps:

Cache files are temporary files that are saved by the game to make some faster loading information. If these files have incorrect data or damaged, it can prevent your game from loading. The game will regenerate fresh copies of these files whenever it loads, in order to remove them are perfectly safe, and it is normal for them reappear.

    1. to delete your cache files, open your MY documents Arts\The Sims 3\. Inside there will be a number of cache files:

    CasPartCache.package

    compositorCache.package

    scriptCache.package

    simCompositorCache.package

Delete all those files you have.

    2. also look in the folder MY documents Arts\The Sims 3\WorldCaches\ (if you have one) and delete all the files inside this folder. Don't worry if you don't have a record of WorldCaches , or if it is empty - some people have WorldCaches and not others.

Please let us know if it helps.

    Thank you and best regards,

  • Major problems wow64win.dll errors

Hi, I would really appreciate any help!

    I have big problems

A couple of days, I turned my computer on vista 64 bit ultimate. Not had any problems recently. During startup, I got a blue screen of death and crash dump. I panicked and turned off my computer.

I tried to restart my computer but vista stuck in a loop on loading and kept restarting itself.

I then tried to boot from last good configuration known but always kept rebooting.

Then, I decided to start from my vista installation disc and intended to restore for a few days earlier. However I think I've accidentally pressed repair startup instead. When retrieved and loaded vista, I had some dll errors. Then the charge of vista without applications will work and whenever I try to open a program I get an error of wow64win.dll. and the program does not open. I did some research and understand that the wow64win.dll is the emulator that allows 32-bit applications running on 64-bit systems.

Then I tried to restore to a previous safe time using the installation disc, but when I choose an earlier date of the restoration, he begins to restore then comes up with an error saying cannot restore.

Even my 64-bit browser explore won't acess the net (currently using another computer). Strangely, the only thing that can currently access the net is winmail. I can't access all windows processes, but no applications or programs.

I currently have the pack1installed service

Should I try new disc loading service pack1 or something in order to repair the problem .dll files that I really want to reinstall and I wish I had manually back up all my files on an external hard drive

I hope someone is able to help me please. Thank you desperate waiting

    Hello, buddyfox

If you cannot restore or repair your installation of windows, you can try to do a clean install.

WARNING: Formatting the hard drive will all scan data, programs and user settings you have on the computer. If there is no information on this computer and you don't want to lose, or is not guaranteed, you will need to make backups before proceeding with the INSTALLATION of FORMAT / CLEAN.

Before you perform a clean installation, first create a backup of all files. Locate your Windows Vista product key, this is usually on a sticker located somewhere on your computer. Locate your Windows Vista support, if you don't have a CD, there may be a restore partition, you will need to check with your manufacturer.

For the steps to perform the clean installation, please see the following link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/918884

    Yay!
    I fixed it!

    Here's how:
I looked at the advice of Robert (thanks Robert!) and thinking that it is must be a typo - 64-bit should be Wow, not sys32, just hypothetically.
So, I checked my Wow folder and found 0 bytes audioeng.dll there as well - I didn't replace yesterday with snached dll, I only replaced front sys32. The same dll is used twice by the system.
I decided to take the risk to replace with the same dll snached.

    Here are my steps:

    1. Tear off the healthy donor machine DLL
    2. Start the bulb--> cmd with admin permissions
    3. in the command prompt writing
    • takeown /f C:\Windows\SysWOW64\AudioEng.dll

    • ICACLS C:\Windows\System32\AudioEng.dll/grant administrators: F
    • copy YourFreshDllDirectory\AudioEng.dll C:\Windows\System32\AudioEng.dl

Make sure you did it in both places.
    Enjoy!

    Hello

Google who provides virtually no information that suggests it might be the malicious program or a start remains for her entry search

Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware

    http://www.Malwarebytes.org/MBAM.php

You can also download and run rkill to stop the process of problem before you download and scan with malwarebytes

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill

If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.
    6. Do whatever tasks you need and when you are done, reboot to return to normal mode.

If the error persists after scanning use this program to out startup

This utility, Autoruns for Windows, which has a knowledge of auto-starting locations of any startup monitor, shows you what programs configured to run at system startup or login and that the entries in the order of processing windows. These programs include those in your startup folder, Run, RunOnce, and other registry keys.
