Satellite L775-11F with a pale screen, a bad connector plugged the PSU, the worn trackpad

I got this L775 11(f) since Christmas, and I noticed on the occasion that the screen seems to lose some clarification and go a little pale. It's nothing to do with the screen when the backlight reduced to save energy, I can be typing when it happens of gradation. I found that the displacement of the new front and rear hinge at the same angle correct, so I wonder if there is a problem with the electrical connection to the screen. Someone else had that?

My power cable also seems to have a mind of its own and ejects slowly even if there is no one to use it. Is this something that happens often? It's my first Tosh, and it is mighty annoying, that I can't guarantee a full charge of the battery, or use the laptop without the battery installed, as the right thing goes out when the power cable is far enough.

Finally, I noticed that the surface of the trackpad demonstrated a lot of wear for laptop 6 months old. The Center became black and shiny. Looks like a little petty for a laptop that is almost brand new.

Think that part or all of these questions are worth contact warranty/tech support on? The screen is the biggest concern, because if this goes in year 1, I goosed, although it has been a problem given that the laptop had only a few months. The problem is that it is an intermittent problem, which is difficult if not impossible to reproduce at will. It happened only 4 or 5 times so far, but it is a matter of concern.

Without a doubt. Your laptop should work fine, and I think that you should not waste your time by discussing but contact the nearest Toshiba service provider, explain the situation and ask for help.

Let them check your laptop and do what needs to be done. Laptop warranty valid and lets the Toshiba service people do their work and help you work well for laptop.

    The minidump files showed two errors blue screen, an error KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e) referring to the amdxhc.sys and an error SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3B) referring to the usbfilter.sys:

    The amdxhc.sys is the AMD USB 3.0 driver and the usbfilter.sys is the AMD USB filter driver.

    The amdxhc.sys is dated January 3, 2012 and the usbfilter.sys is dated November 16, 2011.

    Two of these drivers should be updated to the latest version to ensure compatibility with the motherboard and between them.

    HP has an available Update for AMD USB 3.0 driver but I do not see an AMD USB filter driver available for your computer updated.

    I might suggest to try to get the package of motherboard chipset from AMD for versions newer and compatible to the two pilots.

    It is not easy to say why this happens, but if there are so many problems, I advise you to install the new OS by using the HDD recovery procedure.
    Try to start your computer in safe mode and delete all data on the second partition.

    Try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135. If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem.   Follow the procedures described in the article. Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall.  Once remember to put Vista in normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.

    Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here.  Each result allows
    refine us the search for the cause.

    Can someone help me with this problem. My screen flickers when connected im playing games with my a/c power cord. Howerver when I remove the power cord, it works fine on battery.     I put t think anyone can help you ask Toshiba. What you can do is to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask them if they have some info on upgrades.

    In any case, almost all new laptops are slow. The reason is factory default and configuration settings. You should remove all unnecessary software startup, disable the automatic update of Windows, and it helped for me to remove the preinstalled anti-virus software. I've install my own Avira antivir.

    Now my laptop starts and runs much more quickly than before.
