    Hello

    Method 1:

I suggest you to disable all security software, including the Windows Firewall and then check if it solves the problem.

Check out the link to disable the security software.

    Disable the anti-virus software

    Enable or disable Windows Firewall

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

Warning: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Can I use the Vista key code to activate this Windows 7?

No, you need the product key for Windows 7, Windows 7 uses its own unique product key. What you can do is to reload the old hard drive, and then try to recover the product key:

Here are four utilities, which can display your product keys if they are still there:

First of all, when I try to update my computer, I have three error codes that appear. They are 800b0100, 80070020 and 8024200 D I tried deleting multiple tool windows using the software and to remove errors, but errors remain. Second, the computer moves very slowly. I cleaned the temporary files and history, but he is dragging a few minutes between mouse clicks. According to McAfee, I have no viruses, spyware or malware issues. The error messages that prevent the computer to update would be the issue here?  Thank you for your help in advance.

    Hello

Step 1: Try the steps in the below articles, one by one, to solve the problems of windows update issue.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/Windows-Update-error-800B0100
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/Windows-Update-Error-80070020

Step 2: Look for the performance of the computer in safe mode (do not check for any update of windows. It does work in safe mode.) and after return the same thing.

  • Vista - error code: 80070424 & dt000 (cannot install updates)

I turned on my computer this morning and shortly received the message that updates did not.  When I clicked on the message, above what was evidence.  I tried to do some troubleshooting on mine, without success.  I had received an error message telling me that an unauthorized change was made to Windows (which I did) and that I receive no updates on my license or activation of last week.  I went through the process to validate the system.  I went for the weekend, and this is what I came back.

I come to you to ask for help.  I am running Windows Vista.  Any help would be appreciated.
