• LabVIEW call DLLs Visual Studio - error - "Debug Assertion Failed"

  Dear Forum,

  I made the wrappers for the c codes ++ writing Visual Studio 2008 for some time. I recently worked with a c++ application.

  However, this time, I get an error expected. Alien, the code calls the dll worked previously. With no retouching, I closed LabVIEW for a few hours, it opened again - and this error message (see below) appeared since. I tried to restart the computer, the Subvi rewriting and checking the prototype of the function.

  Nobody knows what this assertion of debugging message failed try to indicate?

  

  It seems that when I run the LabVIEW VI when it calls the node library call. It does not return and error boolean as designed in c++ code.

  Note: All other containers of c ++ and LabVIEW code works, but not this one.

  Any advise would be very useful indeed.

  The dll must be in the same location as the config file a dependency.

  You can get this error because of things:

  1. The Visual C++ library runtime components are missing. (You should of reinstalled after remove them because this software requires their)
  2. A problem with this software, it is possible a conflict with another software.

  If the problem is caused by #1, you can reinstall the latest version of the Visual C++ Library Runtime components and see if it solves the problem, but I do not know what version of the redistributable software requires.

• The launch of LabVIEW 8.6 in MS Visual C++ error

  I use a PC (Windows XP), including LabVIEW 8.6, 2009 and 2010 is installed.  When you try to launch 8.6, I get this runtime error:

  

  If I click on OK in this window before Initializes the splash screen, I close LabVIEW.  However, if I wait until after the splash screen appears, the window above becomes inactive and unusable.  I have not tried many or search programs, but I can say that LabVIEW behaves normally (I can open and create projects and screws).

  Hello-

  To remove the integration of Visual Studio, you must go through Add/Remove programs.  In Add/Remove Programs, select software National instruments, click Uninstall/change.  In the "National Instruments software" later dialog that appears, choose your latest version of LabWindows/CVI and select Edit:

  

  Then displays the LabWindows/CVI Installer dialog box.  Once it done, choose the Visual Studio 2005 wizards and select Remove:

  ·        You try to run a restore a backup for the first time?

  ·        Did you find a number exact error or a message?

  I suggest to copy the contents of the CD/DVD file on the desktop and then run a backup from the registered office. See if it works properly after having access to the file of the office.

  HP compac Presariocq3000 series; Product no BW466AA #ABG. I am trying to install a program called «heavy weatherpro» 3600... weather monitoring it comes with a RS232 connection cable. I bought a converter cable to the USB input and now finally have the weather station module, communicate with the computer, but every time I open the program I get the following error message

  It seemed at the time there was that a compatibility issue with Windows Vista and the software would not run correctly unless the user has created a separate machine XP partition. As he was going by there a lot of work it makes me believe that LaCrosse may not be updated their software to work on a new Windows OS and perhaps don't intend to. You can contact them to verify that the software is compatible with Window 7 64-bit.

  I just bought a new computer (Dell XPS 720), with Professional Windows 64 - Bit SP1, and I get an error when trying to install the OfficeJet 6310 All in one software (drivers and software for scanning, etc...).

  On the HP site, I found the OfficeJet 6310 all in one software, selected Windows 64-bit version and downloaded.

  When I try to install, I get:

  Things I've tried so far:

  1 remove all the Appdata\local\temp installation folder

  2. in the setup.exe from the installation in App\data\local\temp folder, right click on the exe files and select "Run as Administrator"

  3 made a full chkdsk on C:\ (control of start time). No errors where found.

  4 downloaded the tool HP Assistant, let it detect the 6310 printer (who does) and let it download the software... same error in installation.

  Am I missing an older Visual C++ library? Or .net Framework?

  I had problems installing Avast 5 and Visual C++ Distribution point forums are missing.  32 bit Vista Professional computer that I use has a 2005 Visual C ++ Distribution that I uninstalled it.  Now, I'm trying to install Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Setup.  The following error occurs when installing directly from a user (Administrator) or click account right and "Run as Administrator".  The error occurs after installation is sitting for 5-10 minutes.

  Note that restoring crashes even if we "Cancel" configuration.

  Follow these methods and check if that helps:

  Method 1:

  Follow the steps in this article and check if that helps: Error 1935.An error occurred during the installation of assembly ' Microsoft.VC90.ATL, version http://support.microsoft.com/kb/970652

  Method 2:

  Start your computer in a clean boot and check if you can install: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean Windows Vista or Windows 7 boot http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135

  Note: when you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7 to start the computer in normal startup.

  1. what disc you are trying to open?
  2. what application you want to use?

  This error can occur because of a program using Visual C++.

  You can uninstall all existing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package and install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package and check if it helps.

  Step 1: To uninstall the package:

  a. open programs and features.

  b. in the list, find the Package redistributable Microsoft Visual C++ and click on it.

  c. click on uninstall at the top of the list.

  Step 2: Download and install the latest package and see if it helps.

  Step 3:
