• Control code Source Robo get corrupted

  Using RH10 and RSC, my files are get damaged.  I use Windows 7 64 bit and I apply the patch for 64-bit.  We noticed little things go bad recently and thought it was RH10 since no problem has not been observed in RH9.

  I knew RH10 made some changes to the network, could it be done my project?  I'm pulling everything to implement out of version control to avoid corruption.  Projects must be in Source code control.

  Everyone knows about this problem?  Some corruption is local and some remote is.

  

  Due to our server with very slow access and RH10 locking up, we believe that the source of the corruption occurs when writing files on disk or on our server SourceControl.

  Restart the source control server fixed a lot of problems.  This PC gets restarted every month when IT backs up.  In addition, the server is only serving 6 projects for 2 people,... nothing else.  We will restart this PC a week now and see if our problems disappear.

• RoboHelp 9 with control code Source PushOK

  We have recently improved our win7 64 bit machines. I have the process, we have also been updating Robohelp 7 to 9.  On our previous machines, we used Robosource 3.1 as the source control.

  We have a major project in Robohelp and I copied the files on my new machine and opened it in RH9. He converted to the course without problem and seems to work well.

  However, when I try to add the project to the code Source of PushOk control, he will not see PushOk and offers only 3.1 SR.  I followed the directions to find here of Aditi Roongta to install robohelp_subversion.  I checked that PushOK SVNSCC plugin is listed in the registry as a SCC provider installed. In fact, it is the only supplier of the source in the register control.

  Seems that you have installed the PushOk SVN 64-bit Installer. You must install install 32 bits of PushOk SVN to integrate with RoboHelp. Once you install it on a 64-bit machine, you will see the entrance to registry HKLM > SOFTWARE > Wow6432Node > SourcecodeControlProvider > InstalledSCCProviders.

  Similarly, if RoboSource Control is installed on your machine, its registry entry will be displayed in the above registry location.

  The LaserJet P1606dn printer is a device based on the host (see http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01995860 ).

  This means that it does not include traditional Page Description languages (PDL, s) - PCL5, PCL6 (aka PCL XL) or PostScript - such as used on the more expensive models.

  The host-based devices use owners (unpublished) languages that vary from a model and manufacturer.

  I think that many of the models HP, the language is known as JetReady, which is (loosely) based on a variant of (very) stripped of PCL XL; most of the fomatting is done from the host work station (where the name), with all (text & images) converted to encapsulated, compressed image dithered. interpreter in the printer just unencapsulates and decompresses these images and prints the points resulting.

  Note that even the printer supported standard PCL6 (PCL XL) PDL, it is extremely difficult (in most cases impossible) to inject anything (such as your "page eject") in the flow generated by the driver, due to the highly structured nature of the PDL.

• Cannot get Windows Media Center to learn the remote control codes decoder

  I'm trying to put in place my TV card in Windows Media Center in Windows 7.  The card is a Hauppauge HVR 2250, which has a blaster/IR receiver.

  The configuration of the set-top box tells me to point the remote at the receiver and "hold" the number 0.  The problem is that the remote control supplied with the set-top box (Motorola RG2400) is not constantly emits the same IR signal when I press and hold the button - signal IR lasts only about a year and a half seconds before turning off. This does not seem to be sufficiently long for Windows Media Center and never detects the signal.

  Can I make it work?

  Looks like the remote is faulty I recommend you do replace from the cable/satellite for a replacement/repair provider.

Well, I'm wih numbers as one day and work with underestimate but anyway I forgot the password what he and I feel bad because my kids always say "MOM you can put the password" so that they can download games, but I forgot the password.

  In safe mode, go to start / search box and type msconfig.exe and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Select the Startup tab and change Mode without failure in Normal mode and click OK.  You can now restart and you should be in Normal mode again.

  Since the original project, to export the .isf file (from file-> settings TAB Import Project dialog box you will find the option to export) that contains all the mapping information, then you can use the .isf file before you import it into a fresh RoboHelp project.

  For good results, you can link an example of a framework document (which has all styles in the catalog that you are using), and then import the file .isf preceding in the draft, now on the importation of the book of FrameMaker you will see that all applied mapping, on the generated HTML themes.

  No way to convert it to HTML5 doctype. You have to manually, find and replace the doctypes in your output. Note that WebHelp use time frames HTML 4.01 and XHTML 1.0 game transitions. But for outputs valid, you may need to make some changes over at the output.

  The question is: why would you want to set the HTML 5 doctype? What that would bring that XHTML 1.0 doctype impossible? In addition, IE (with the exception of v9) does not support HTML5 you may not use the HTML5 tags like the canvas, if you want to support older browsers.

  You can use tools > Options > General > "Convert RoboHelp converted to HTML format" to convert your output in HTML 4.01 instead of XHTML 1.0 Transitional. But is that it works.
