I have this huge 3-d scene in Element3d (Copilot plugin) where I have a billboard somewhere in the scene which I can't tell the exact coordinates. This element3d scene is a composition where trying to composite a mp4 video to my right on the display panel which is really hard because I can't understand the exact 3d coordinates of the screen of the anglo-saxon is much trial and error in positioning of the video and then move the camera just to make sure that it of really on the display panel and does not move away from him so that the camera moves to the other angular perspectives. To help me to correctly position the video I'm trying to move the camera around the sides of the billboard to make sure that the video is just sticking to the screen of the anglo-saxon, but I can't move the camera properly... in a regular program of 3d like maya or 3ds max I could easily place the camera at each angle of the scene but with After effects It is almost impossible to see from all angles in a 3d stage.   Depending on your project, it is often easier to use a null value to animate your camera position. Think of it as putting the camera on a cart with a jib arm attached. Here's the very simple procedure.

  2. Add a null 3D scene
  3. Hold down the SHIFT key and parent value null to the camera

  I think this is a much easier solution and this is my standard workflow to animate the position of the camera in a 3D scene. • Having problems capturing the image with 2 cameras and the PCIe-1430

• PID control with big delay in the process variable

  Hello

  My goal is to control the temperature via a valve and heat exchanger. I proceeded variable (temperature) measured from a hose. This temperature should be raised a few degrees with a heat exchanger. So basically I need to order a valve that allows the water to flow through the heat exchanger to raise the temperature to the desired level.

  My original plan was to use a base PID regulation to operate the dispenser. However, it is about 0.5 to 1 minute of delay time in the temperature probe after I opened the valve, which increases the temperature. This leads to a situation where the PID regulation valve fully open during this period (trying to get the temperature rise). Then once the temperature begins to rise it fires quite quickly. PID begins turning the tap off almost immediately, but because of the time delay in the sensor, the temperature exceeds seriously. This led to severe oscillation and at worst unstable processes. I tried to adjust the PID control to "predict" the timer to close the valve in advance to minimize the excess, but failed.

  I would appreciate if anyone has any ideas how to make this type of control with Labview PID functions. I also wonder if there is a better type of control procedure for this scenario as a PID control?

  This is a very common situation in the heating control, and generally PID can be adjusted to make it work. How do you do the tuning? If you do it by trial and errors, you have little chance to succeed. For a slow process with time delay, I like to use the method Cohen Coons, or similar open Ziegler-Nichols-loop method. The idea is that you temporarily remove or disable the PID. Set the valve in a fixed position and wait for the temperature to stabilize. Then, change the setting of the valve and record temperature at regular intervals data until the temperature is stable again to a new value. Use these data to get the initial values of PID using the equations provided by the tuning method you choose.

  I use a mac with PhotoShop CC and have experienced a problem during the recording of pictures once I've retouched in Photoshop. If I open a RAW or DNG file in camera RAW, or a TIF or JPG created in Lightroom in Photo and then change the file, everything looks OK. When I came to save the RAW as a TIF or JPG, or a TIF or JPG saved previously, or DNG PhotoShop or Mac file does not give a picture of a file extension.

  Looks like you did with the camera connected to the computer and Windows to change the format (turn).  I don't think you can export these back to the camera.  With the large capacity memory cards, I suggest you not to change the pictures on the memory card and keep for a while before deleting.

  Suggestion:

  Do not connect your camera to your computer.  Buy a memory card reader - they are inexpensive.  In fact, most modern computers have a built-in SD card reader.   Remove the memory card from the camera and insert it in the drive.  Connect the player to your computer and treat it like any other thumb drive USB.  The card reader is small and fits easily in your case of the camera, much better that the cables and such.

  Much faster, without fussing over the drivers, no battery worries.  This also means that you don't have to install anything on any computer to be able to copy your photos.  It also lets you remove the lightening fast compared to in the camera memory card.  Most of the software that comes with cameras is terrible.
