  Hello people,

  I was wondering if there is a way to force an update of the topology without restarting the FMS.

  I encountered this problem a few times now, on different hosts FMS, here's the scenario:

  A new script agent is built and pushed out creates a new type of topology. Everything seems OK until you try to create a new rule for this. The type of topology is not available for the scope of the rule.

  If anyone else has experienced this? I brought this to support previously and we restarted just the FMS to work around the problem. Is there some other way around him? Of course, we want to keep the downtime to a minimum, especially with production systems...

I did it with as2 and never solved the problem which I am sure is easy enough to solve. I remember someone saying something about levels.

Say that the objects are in a room where the user must visit several times in the interaction.   Looks like you need to add programming that 1) stores the x / y locations of the objects since they change 2) uses this information in position to position objects whenever you enter the picture that they are in.

  You should be able to create variables to store the information that is on a layer that extends from the complete timeline so that the data is stored as it is updated and you move along the timeline.  When you move the object update you its position data. Then, in the context where you have objects use you a simple coding to place objects using this position info... something as simple as...

  Object1.x = object1X;

  Object1.y = object1Y;

  If you are still using AS1/2 you would use _x and FLF instead of x and y

  However, I need only update client VMWare (UAT) 200 instead of my full prod environment.

  can I use this script and refer to a text file for determine which I want to upgrade customers.

  Or another script that would allow me to use a VMGuests text file I want only ugrade.

  If you make a file text VMs.txt with on each line the name of a virtual computer that you want to update, you can update all these virtual machines VMware tools with:

• Where is the record update form wizard in PCOC?

  Trying to follow the online help, but it does not concern CBWMS.   A tutorial that I found for CS6 suggests that it is in the instructions > Data Objects > update record > record but in ACPE update form wizard, there is no "Data Objects" option in the Insert menu.

  By the way, I'm looking for the wizard not update directly the behavior which I know is in the server behaviors panel.

  EDIT: Just talk to Adobe 'support' of discussion about this and they have been absolutely useless.   Seriously?  It's the best I can hope Adobe support?  It was clear that the cooperative was just search on Google for answers as opposed to actually know the software they represent.  Really disappointing support.

• Why my smart objects lose shape when it is changed?

  I have a project that contains objects communicating shaped like a magazine, so that the pages are forms bizarre models.

  When I click on a smart object and modify the content and open and then save again, the original object loses its unique shape and ends simply by the place.

  Normally I would merge the smart object open, but tried to leave in layers and various other options, but every time I have save the smart object updated (even if I just change the color of the smart object) when I have the resave, it loses shape magazine page.

  Normally, I would say that this problem is in the file, but I have had this experience on more than a sham.

  Dynamic objects appear as they should be relatively easy, what don't get me?

  Recently, I gave a moment to complain on the forums of non-functioning and I did a few years ago, vowed not to come until they are fixed. But the person with a good heart in me can't let somebody question remain unanswered. (I used as one of the posters who have contributed regularly here. Consider this a small dose of expertise, the forums are missing on ignoring the pleas of users like me who made them useful and functional compared to management that makes them unwieldy and simply not work!)

  The reason why your smart objects lose their point of view is because they were created in a later version of Photoshop with a change of perspective that is not supported in earlier versions. (Your CS3, for example) To make it backward compatible and editable in your version, the person who uses the latest version of CS must simulate the perspective transformation with the functions of 'chain', then you will be able to update your smart objects with no problems.

  I'm fairly new to AS3/Flex and would like your help with a problem I encounter. I put in a Flex 2 project that uses two custom components in different States (i.e. 1 State uses A. State 2 uses component B). In these two, they are referencing the XML object that is specified in a separate file (i.e. Global.as) which is included in the main application file.

If I switch between the two States, make changes to the XML object, these changes do not appear in the States unless I force a new databind() by assigning the XML object updated the dataprovider. I could just do this whenever the user switches the State, however, I don't think it's an effective way to solve the problem.
  
  I was wondering if you guys could help me find a better way to solve this problem. Can fix us an event that triggers the reset of the databind XML ONLY when the XML object is changed?

  no particular reason, you don't have you wrapped list XML in XMLListCollection? That's what flex for you when you assign it a simple XML or XMLList element.

  So in your Global.as right after:

  public var carsXML:XML = new XML)
  
  
  
  
  
  );

  make one

  public var carsXMLView:XMLListCollection = new XMLListCollection (carsXML.car);

  and now you should use carsXMLView everywhere wherever you used to carsXML, as in DataGrid

  
  dataProvider = "{Application.application.carsXMLView}" > "

  and, while adding a new car to the list:

  var newObj:XML = ;
  Application.application.carsXMLView.addItem (newObj); / / .appendChild (newObj);

  Please inquire the dataProvider of the DataGrid class.

  Also note that the Application.application. * isn't a recommended method to pass data to the various components! Use what you already have or sets properties and set the data source.
