  Satellite P300D-20U belongs to the PSPDCE series and I think that it was equipped with the chip graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3470 (M82XT).

  I have download the ESX - 4.0.0 - update01 - 208167.iso and burn it to a bootable DVD.  I checked the MD5 and that's okay.  I have a VMware Workstation 7 in another PC, and I can install ESX 4.0 in a virtual machine in VMware Workstation 7 with this DVD.

  What is the optical drive that you use to install with? Just for grins, double check that it is a dvd - rom (at least). I had problems installing on old one hardware because it is only to have a cd player (no dvd read ability). It would be to start it from the media, but fails when installing (not sure how it could, but it does)...

  As ESXi 4 is installed, you could just opt for this version. You can get the console (on the host) enabled through the directions here (including SSH access)... I did on my ESXi host and then just use putty to open a connection with it for the execution of orders. The main site (http://vm-help.com/index.html) has some good additional information on this topic... Interesting to watch if nothing else.

  You can also use the vMA, install the PowerCLI software and even the vSphereCLI if you want...

  Found the solution (my found friend):

  -created a bootable with Lili software Ubuntu

  -initialized and chosed try Ubuntu.

  -in the Terminal, I opened gpart (a partition Manager) and formatting drive HARD whole, created 2 partitions NTFS

  -with Novicorp WintoFlash, I created a bootable USB and Windows 7 installation was flawless.
