  Without a default gateway, you will not be able to route to the DNS server that you specified: auxiliary DNS: 64.71.255.198

  If you think you have all the traffic in your MS local virtual (hosting IE everything than ob this host and always keeping local traffic), then no DG not required, but I suspect you'll want to make the web etc as you go along, if you need a DG to be routable

  We worked on a Satellite Pro P100, which has re-product of network problems. After replacing the cables, repatching on LAN, network points and switching points. The contiuned problem to reappear. After reviewing the log events in Windows XP, it indicates that the network adapter has disconnects and reconnects then some time later. We have tried to re - apply readers up-to-date but the problem persists.

  My problem is, after I started and had my computer running for a significant amount of time (30 minutes to an hour), I loose full internet connectivity and the response time for any action I'm trying of the preform is from 30 seconds to 5 minutes.

  This problem occurs almost every time my computer is started for a significant amount of time, and it's extremely annoying.

  First Firefox, Google chrome, or internet Explorer stops receivers internet connectivity (because it is not sailing to any web page) but still related reports.

  (during this time and on my computer don't report any anomaly, IE CPU utilization / ram uses / temperature are amounts all acceptable)

  I usually try to close my browser (s) web, but its reports "not responding" and I cannot close or even end the process or the process tree, so it runs as a process. From there a program or a click I do I try to run either doesn't work or takes 30 seconds to 5 minutes to register if they register at all.

  Programs I all ready have running continue to run, IE Vuze, WindowsMP, Zune software, openoffice. But once that I close them I can't reopen.

  Any program I try to open starts a process in the Task Manager but it not to start a program or actually run, and I can't used to finish the tasks that do not work properly.

  If I try to shut down windows, it takes a minute or so to begin to disconnect, then he sits on the "logging" off the screen until I use the power switch to kill the system.

  I suspect that it may be a problem from my network card driver (Controller Realtek PCIe GBE Family, latest version downloaded directly from the Gigabyte website for my motherboard) because the question almost always starts when my internet stops working. However, this may be 2 combined numbers.

  I had this problem and I thought it was because of an installation of bad windows 7 so I erased the hard drive and did a complete new installation, but the problem is back!

  I changed my routers settings to give me a fixed IP address to dismiss questions here. All the other computers in my House have access the internet without interruption during my problems. And no other computer in my house has similar problems.

  I reinstalled the network once drivers without success.

  I would like to address the downturn extreme Windows 7 after half an hour or so if possible because I have other NICs lying there if the problem comes from the network card.

  OK, so I think that the slow issue is resolved now. I blame intel speedstep, while part of my problem is fixed.

  Internet connection problems still remain.

  I ran my computer in safe mode with network for about 2 hours. When I booted in safe mode, everything was fine, internet connetion worked on download and upload at full power. I let it sit for an hour or two in safe mode and I came back and there is no internet again, as usual. All my browsers (internet explorer, my main browser firefox and chrome) refuse to function / load anything and their work will not end in the Task Manager. The device says it all works and it (network adapter) said I have a connection, but I am squatting me on my browsers or any other uses of the Internet. This test will run on a network interface card that I installed, with drivers. I did him wrong with shooting my motherboard cable network and its software driver port. This new card gives the same result, so I think now I know that this issue has nothing to do with my physical port or its drivers.

  The only things I can think that it either now are either:
  my router
  However, all the other computers in my house (3 of them, 1 win XP), 1 Win 7 64 bit pro, 1 Ubuntu and my Xbox 360 not having this problem and works perfectly

  or

  Something inside windows 7 that control the browsers or manages connections,
  I think it's most likely due to the fact that my browsers have problems in the Task Manager / they do not work properly

• Automation maxl script on a server Unix Essbase - help needed please

  I wonder if someone could help me because I am completely new to unix and we have an old server with essbase v9.3.1 which holds a few cubes that update us manually through orders of PuTTY. Basically, we have a preview to update maxl file and a file dat apdate maxl are executed by running a .ksh file using put them. The .ksh file has the following line as we would in a Windows .bat file
  
  essmsh /xdata/ETL/prod/Hyperion/dataload/scripts/refreshEssbase.msh
  
  By operating manually via putty the maxl file works perfectly.
  
  In a recent attempt to automate this I asked our guys to Unix to create a crontab schedule that he did, but he doesn't seem to be running. He removed the ctrl - M and added a path to the essmsh as follows:
  
  / Hyperion/Essbase/bin/essmsh /Xdata/ETL/prod/Hyperion/dataload/scripts/refreshEssbase.msh
  
  But this seems to give the error:
  
  LD.so.1:: essmsh: fatal: libessmaxlu.so: open failed: no such file or directory
  Killed
  
  The libessmalu.so file is in the same directory as the essmsh so don't know what it means.
  
  
  So I thought that this could be to do with the path, so I tried to change it to:
  
  xdata/ETL/prod / / Hyperion/Essbase/bin/essmsh /xdata/ETL/prod/Hyperion/dataload/scripts/refreshEssbase.msh
  
  Not always the same error.
  
  Any help? Nobody knows what the .ksh script should be to launch the maxl file? How comes the original script work fine manually via putty but would not go via a task with crontab?

  If you just take all the details of the hyperionenv.doc and then put in your script but put export in front of each line then set up the variables before essmsh is called
  for example export HYPERION_HOME = / Hyperion

  Hi there and thanks for reading.
  I do a university course and stay in student accommodation which benefits from a wireless network. I do my work on an iPad, so today, I went out and bought a hp office jet 2542 so I can print the course.
  I can't get the * beep * thing connected at all. The blue light continues to blink at me. The iPad is the printer ok and I printed a test page but I am puzzled any advice would be appreciated. Thank you

  I understand that you are having problems when you try to connect the all-in-one printer HP Deskjet 2542 to your university network to enable wireless printing. I would like to help you today to this question. Now, just if you are aware, because it is a quality consumer printer it is supported only on home networks and is home to the office. The printer responds better on a core network with just a router and up to 10 devices connected to this network. You are in a University in the network is going to be much more advanced. He'll also probably switches and installation of network servers that can cause problems with communication with consumer products. Printers require some ports to open and compensation on the network so that the printer should not be considered a threat attempts to access the network.   • The incoming Ports (UDP): 137, 138, 161, 427, 80, 443
  • Coming out of Ports (TCP): 137, 139, 427, 9100, 9220, 9500, 5222 5223

  These parameters will have to be confirmed by the IT Department, if you do not have access to the router.

  Step 2: Configure the wireless:

  Because it is a base model printer, it doesn't have a front panel wireless configuration option. Therefore, you rely on a Windows or Mac computer to configure the wireless. You will need to have a USB cable for the wireless configuration.

  Because I don't know what operating system you use on your computer, can please click you here. Once the support document opens, please select your operating system and follow the instructions to set up your wireless network.

  Once the wireless is configured on your printer, you check simply that your iPad is connected to the same network that your printer is connected to the and which will allow your printer to print from your iPad.

  If the wireless configuration is always a failure, due to the network, the other alternative would be to use Direct wireless.

  Step 3: Direct Wireless Configuration:

  Direct Wireless will allow you to print wireless from your printer without having to connect to a network. Enable you wireless directly on your printer. By doing so, your printer will now broadcast its own network name. At this point up to 5 computers, tablets, phones can connect to the network printers and can print directly to the printer. However, you will not be able to access the internet on your iPad and print on your printer at the same time as your iPad has only 1 card network which will be connected directly to the printer.

  If you want to use Direct wireless, you must install a print on your iPad application. Please click here for the application.

  After loading the application, touch button Wireless directly on your printer is able to walk. Once the Direct wireless is enabled on your iPad select to connect to a new network. Under the list of available networks, you will see your HP Deskjet. To connect to this network, and now you'll be able to print. Yet once, this function will not work unless you are connected to the network printers which means that you are not able to go on the internet at the same time.

  Unfortunately, printing on large networks, as this university network, is almost impossible because the school most likely won't be unwilling to give to your permissions to print to the network printer.

  Hi can someone please help, I have an officejet 7500 large format (all-in-one printer scanner fax) it works ok on my imac for some time now.

  Today I updated my software to Yosemite, I got the computer connected by usb directly to the printer and also a wireless to my network, so my imac, iPad and iphone can link to it.

  Now, whenever I try to scan print from the HP utility it does not find the printer or when he finds it nothing happens. What software can I download to run spring ter, I think the HP utility that I have is for windows, not the Imac. Regards Allan

  I see that you experience printing problems, since the upgrade to Yosemite. I can help you with this.

  What is the name and the product number of your printer? How can I find my model number or product number?

  There are 4 models Officejet 7500.

  Unplug the printer from the Mac.

  Remove the printer in printers and Scanners. (old drivers) Click on the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.
  Click on Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer on the left column and click on the sign - to remove this driver.

  Then connect the printer to the Mac again and to automatically add the printer in printers and Scanners.

  If it doesn't, run the Apple updates. Go to Apple, about this Mac, click on the "View" tab at the top of the window and click on software updates.

  Then, check the name of the installed driver, highlight the name of the printer on the left side of printers and Scanners window and on the right side of the screen, it should show the name of the printer. (Officejet 7500)

  If it is not properly, remove and add it again. (you may need to click the drop down to select the name of the printer)

  Test the printer.

  If you're still having problems, try the following:

  Fix permissions of the drive on the Mac:

  Close all applications.

  In the Apple menu, click OK, click Applications, and then click utilities.

  Double-click disk utility.

  Highlight your hard drive / partition on the left.

  Click on check and then repair disk permissions.

  Restart the computer...

  Reset the printing system:

  Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer deleted can be re-added later by clicking the sign plus (+) symbol.

  Click the Apple icon, and then click System Preferences.

  Click on Printers & Scanners.

  Make a right click (or Ctrl + click) in the left white side panel, and then click Reset printing system.

  Click OK to confirm the reset.

  Type the name and the correct password.

  Click OK to reset the printing system.

  Then click the + to add the driver, you may need to click the drop-down menu to select the name of the printer, and then click the Add button. (it could automatically default to a different name of the driver)

  Try to print.

• Questions-help needed please rendering of fonts

  Last week, a Google search on Firefox or Chrome (but not Opera) gives me results where the fonts look gappy. Sometimes there are extra points above the letters. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox from scratch in case an add-on was at fault, but even with a clean install, I still see the question. I checked my font settings and do not have any defined minimum font size. I allow pages to choose their own fonts ticked.

  I downloaded an image where I can see a few correctly rendered text and text to research Gauthier (not a Google search but a query of Mozilla). It also happens when the comments submitted online sometimes, as you type it will gappy but it will correctly show once. Ideas for a fix would be welcomed warmly and I can provide more examples if it would help. Even though it is not related to Firefox, I restore all default settings in Chrome and it does not solve the issue here either.

  I uninstalled the latest Windows Update since the problem is recent, but it changed nothing. I don't know if browsers would still look at my fonts for computers.

  Hi Auds77, it's probably caused by kb3013455 of update from microsoft that can cause problems of rendering fonts on vista:

  After you have installed the 3013455 security update, you may notice a degradation in quality of text in some scenarios. The problem occurs only on systems running Windows Vista SP2 or Windows Server 2003 SP2. Microsoft is researching this problem and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available.

  an option may be to tackle this particular update for now until there is a fix from microsoft or you could also look at if there is a graphics driver update available on the Web site of the seller (intel/amd/nvidia) which could also be solved this problem in some cases.

  More info on this subject is that, clearly, that the pc as stock is not intended for windows 7 cause win 7 perfomance dragged down and cannot find a way to install xp. Like I said im using usb to install but whenever I have try it can't find the drivers, even though I've added with nlite and I tried to use windows xp 64 sp 1 that could be the problem too. But anyway I have driver SATA used32bit_ATI_SB7xx_RAID & AHCI_driver_v9-4_WHQL and sp43839 and could not get to work cause they said that I have to insert Perrine everything I did or however I tried.   Try resetting Safari. Close Safari completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the preview pane of Safari until it disappears from the display. You may need to search the Safari part covering scribbles to the left. Then go to settings > Safari > clear the history and data from the Web site. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears.
