Volume WMP

When I'm listening to music, the volume will explode randomly in levels that the speakers crack.  If I stop the player, rewind the song, and then repeat it, it will play without any problems.  It only happens when I use WMP (not Itunes, youtube, pandora, etc..) Any ideas?

Note: I am using windows vista 32-bit basic.  Reference Dell 1521.  Sigma such High Definition Audio CODEC.

  • Level of Volume WMP Audio files

I want to output volume upgraded WMP files on a flash drive.  They are the same files that appear in my library of music or are these files prior to volume level in WMP?   In other words can I just copy my music library on the flash USB key?

WMP volume upgraded files do not have their actual volume (or audio) changed. They only contain additional values that are interpreted by WMP when it reads the files.

If you play the files on the flash drive in WMP, and then they either still leveled volume. However, if you use another player, then it most likely does not recognize (specific WMP) volume of levelling of the values. To get volume upgrade with other players, you probably need to use a third-party tool that does not change the audio data, such as MP3Gain.

  • During music playback Volume fluctuates use WMP, Pandora, Real Player.

I tried to fix a problem with playback of music. Volume constantly changes. As if someone or something turns the volume up and down.

I tried everything to change or improve power off, power off automatic volume adjustment under the communications tab and just about everything what I found on Windows/Microsoft community and blog sites.

Nothing helps! I now have Windows 8 and my Windows XP computer has never done this! For some reason, every operating system that Windows has released since XP for it. Vista, Windows 7, and now Windows 8...  Obviously, their must be a problem or a bug within these operating systems that causes this.

If anyone out there has actually noticed and solved this problem, your knowledge would be worth a lot to me because I listen to music all the time with my computer and I have more 16 000 pieces of music! These aren't the downloads, they are real CD in my library...

Please, I beg you! Any info would be good, other than what I already tried...

    Thank you

I finally ended up doing that back the driver for the sound card and that solved the problem!

Must have been some update that was included with a Windows update that I didn't know...

  • Is it possible to adjust the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

    Hello

I have a very simple question:

Is it possible to adjust the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

I explain why I need to do this:
I can watch DVD files or .avi with my computer and VLC, that allows to adjust the volume to 100%. Some DVDs have a very low sound. So if I set VLC to 200% volume and the system volume to 100%, I can watch movies in good sound conditions. Then, my computer speakers are strong enough for me watching a movie.

However, I have a problem with VSD: I use VOD with Windows media player and that player does not allow me to adjust the sound to more than 100%. So I put the sound of Windows media player at 100%, the sound of Windows to 100%, but the sound is very low.

Please don't tell me to buy speakers, mine are pretty strong, and I find it uncomfortable to plug the speakers.

Please don't tell me to use a software that increase the volume of the file I want to watch VOD.

Is there a way to increase the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

Please don t tell me this, please don t tell me that. You want to hear other people's opinions or what?

AFAIK all sound level settings in Windows are synchronized and if you change the sound level in the properties of the speaker at the same level will appear in the Windows for the Volume Mobility Center and the maximum level is 100%. No more than that.

As you already wrote the sound level can be increased in combination with Windows and some players.

Is there any other way to watch these videos, but using WMP?

  • Re: Qosmio F60 - how to make the volume buttons to only work with Media Player?

    Hello.

I was wondering if I could make the Volume up and Volume down button keys compatible with my AIMP3 Media Player software.

I tried to press on them, only to realize the right controls the overall volume of Windows.
I tried the assignment of the keys to the keyboard shortcut list in the software. But he continued to play with the volume of Windows.

No idea how to fix this to make it work with my Player volume only?

My OS is Windows 7 64 bit

    Thanks in advance.

    > No idea how to fix this to make it work with my Player volume only?
AFAIK you cannot fix it. These buttons are for the Windows level volume only.
But I don't see why it is so important. Set the volume level in WMP to the maximum level and simply change the level of Windows. In General, the result is the same. Or not?

Eventually, you pay the wav volume control or readers to a higher level.
This should be possible in the sound properties located in the control panel.

  • Increase the volume of the files to burn to CD?

I have an mp3 file that I need to burn it to a CD using Media Player, but there was a problem with the recording level and who speaks can hardly be heard with the completely mounted volume on my speakers and multimedia player.  It of better when I play with the SRS WOW effects, but is it possible to add these effects or to increase the volume of this file, when I burn it to the CD is strongest when played?

    CatherineS

No, Audacity is definitely the way forward as its a million times better than WMP audio editing. Work a little more maybe, but well worth it.

You can add effects with Audacity, VST and other.

In WMP you can normalize the volume when burning (Options > burn > you will see the option on this tab).

Personally I would not trust him, I use Goldwave and sometimes daring.

    See you soon,.

    Hello

I also suffer from hearing loss, and it's always a difficult question to answer.

The most obvious answer is to increase the volume, however, just increase the volume may also adversely affect the hearing still further.

I recommend that you consult a professional local Audiology for advice. The most recent digital hearing aids have the ability to help by filtering more harmful frequencies without loss of quality.

  • Fluctuation of Volume for Media Player

I came at the end of my intelligence with volume of Media Player fluctuating from top down during playback.  It is a long-standing problem plaguing my systems since the days XP and persists through Vista and now seven.  I have built at least 5 personal pieces I remember the problem arise, which have completely different hardware configurations and speaker configurations.  ECS, Asus, Abit cards mothers, processors AMD and Intel, Harman-Kardon, Boston Acoustics and Altec-Lansing speakers, stereo systems, 5.1 and 7.1...

When playing music or video from a file, the wah-wahs of volume up and down throughout the song and ONLY using WMP.  iTunes, Winamp and online streaming are all perfect.  Equalization of the volume does not help, in fact I can't even switch to silent mode does not help.  I have installed ANY additional codecs, I got in trouble with those in the past, so I stay away from 3rd party codec packs.  Please help me, it's a royal pain to keep the selection of alternative music players at the opening of the mp3 or video files, and I prefer Media Player for alternatives.

    Hi Lottoman,

    Method 1

    To disable improvements audio speaker

    (a) Sound open by clicking theStart button, and then clickPanel. In the search box, type sound, and then clicksound.

    (b) on the playback tab, click speakers, and then click Properties.

    (c) click the enhancements tab, and then select the checkbox disable all improvements .

If you do not see the tab improvements in the speakers Properties dialog box, these features are not available for your speakers, and this procedure is not applicable to your computer.

    Method 2

If the previous step fails then try the step below and check out them.

    (a) go to the sound icon in the system tray, bar right click, clicksound

    (b) click the Communications tab. On this one, you will see:

Windows can automatically adjust the volume of the different sounds when you use your PC to place or receive calls.

When Windows detects the activity of communication:

    1. cut all the other sounds o reduce the volume of other sounds of 80%

2 reduce the volume of other sounds by 50%

    3. do nothing

    (c) select 'do nothing', so try and check if it works.

    I hope this helps!

  • Windows Media Player volume control does not work during DVD playback.

When I play a DVD in Windows Media Player or Windows Media Center I can't adjust the volume with the volume control of the program or main Windows volume control.  Simply sound 100% flight.  It's on a HTPC connected to an A / V recevier, so the only way to adjust the sound with the volume of the receiver control.  When I play any other type of multimedia (avi, mp3, etc.) in the two WMP or WMC in the program volume control is working properly.  The interesting part is, when I play a DVD using VLC Player or Cyberlink Power DVD the volume setting in the program as well as the main Windows volume control works correctly.  This leads me to believe it's a software is not a hardware problem.  I think that WMP and WMC using the same "engine" so the same problem knocking them both.

    Other info:

    Windows 7 64-bit.

    Windows Media Player 12 version

Audio is routed to the receiver via the digital coaxial

For what it's worth, this same problem occurred with the same exact material when I'm running Vista 32 bit.

All other software is the latest version with all updates installed.

Any ideas are welcomed and appreciated.  Thank you in advance.

    Hello

Reinstall the WMP and WMC application and see if it works very well.

    1. open the Control Panel -> programs and features.

    2. click on Windows to enable or disable features in the left pane.

3 expand the multimedia features, disable Windows Media Player. Click Yes to continue, and then click OK to exit. Then restart.

Note: If you turn off your WMP, Windows Media Center will be off either. You may need to reconfigure the settings for Windows Media Center after her reactivation.

    4. open or turn off Windows features turn on again. Functionality in Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center. Turn it back on.

    5. launch Windows Media Player, initialize the program.

PS: If you turn off your WMP, Windows Media Center will be off either. This does not happen when we choose to turn off MCE.

  • Beats Audio Volume indicator WENT after IDT HD Audio update!

Just bought the HP Envy 17 t-3000 (Envy 17 model custom) and I updated all drivers through HP Support Manager.

BEFORE the update, the Beats Audio worked fine...

    1. press on the knob and the popup box appears about 3 seconds

2 whirlwind indicator volume seems to display the volume level.

AFTER the update, something changed the Beats Audio... had to re - install the latest driver from the HP Web site (even after the contact with HP Tech support chat and email several times)...

    1. press on the knob and the popup box appears about 10-12 seconds now!

2 whirlwind indicator volume DISAPPEARED for volume level indicator is GONE

Of course the sound works but NOW I do NOT know or remember the volume level whenever I listen to music.

You can barely tell on the speaker icon to Windows on the toolbar since 2 sound waves indicate at least 50% of its level, but that's all!

I have the software following and checked their settings and put everything to 50% and use the Beats Audio dial to control the volume when the programs are used:

    1 WinAmp

    2 VLC player

    3 MPC

    4 WMP

No matter what I try, it appears that the Beats Audio Volume Control indicator Swirl is GONE! Worse still, there is NO Windows switch order volume at least don't let the open Volume mixer!

Someone knows how to solve this problem and bring back the Audio Beats volume indicator?

HP Tech support insists on doing a re clean - install of the operating system to its original state after suggesting to do reinstall partial of restore points. Already tried restore but points only some since there were MANY because of various updates and none brought the Volume indicator.

Perform a total OS re - install would be the LAST attempt given I have to reinstall all the programs and updated ONCE again that would be laborious!

    Thank you!

    Hello

Without knowing exactly which updates HP Support Assistant is installed, try the following first and let me know.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp56501-57000/sp56900.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are done, reboot the laptop and let Windows load completely.  Open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When this has completed, restart the computer again.

Then, download and install HP display to the screen from following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp55001-55500/sp55152.exe

Once again, when the installation is complete, restart the laptop.

What is now working properly and what is not, or is there no change?

    Kind regards
