During music playback Volume fluctuates use WMP, Pandora, Real Player.

I tried to fix a problem with playback of music. Volume constantly changes. As if someone or something turns the volume up and down.

I tried everything to change or improve power off, power off automatic volume adjustment under the communications tab and just about everything what I found on Windows/Microsoft community and blog sites.

Nothing helps! I now have Windows 8 and my Windows XP computer has never done this! For some reason, every operating system that Windows has released since XP for it. Vista, Windows 7, and now Windows 8...  Obviously, their must be a problem or a bug within these operating systems that causes this.

If anyone out there has actually noticed and solved this problem, your knowledge would be worth a lot to me because I listen to music all the time with my computer and I have more 16 000 pieces of music! These aren't the downloads, they are real CD in my library...

Please, I beg you! Any info would be good, other than what I already tried...

Thank you

I finally ended up doing that back the driver for the sound card and that solved the problem!

Must have been some update that was included with a Windows update that I didn't know...

  • play music on external drive using wmp

I have a large external hard drive filled with music.  I want to play music with Windows Media Player without loading music on my computer, filling my c: drive.  Any advice?

In WMP, click on the 'File' menu and select 'Add to library'.  (Or press ).  By clicking on the button "Advanced Options" allows you to specify the locations of the music files you want to add.  Add these files to the WMP library do not move files to the original location, but will tell WMP where find them easily when you want to read.

  • Walkman app cut during music playback

I want to just that Sony to find out that this problem occurs with me (big fan of Sony) or the other.

From my findings, the problem does not occur only if I'm listening through bluetooth or speaker devices. Whenever I hear about the Jack 3.5 it's a matter of time (about 15 to 20 minutes) so that it starts at the exit of inhibition. And when it starts, it just gets worse. After my isolation of the problem and saw that Sony released several updates to the Walkman application without actually solving the problem, I can't think of a MATERIAL FAILURE of the DESIGN. Something like a heater that is off the output to avoid damage. I also think that Sony could recognize this fault and give us new phones, just like Apple to do to maintain his reputation.

I was always a fan of Sony products because of its perfect designs, but ultimately, it seems that the times have changed. I heard a lot of complainings of Sony products and only one of them.

That's all. Sony, please note that one of your BIG FANS is disappointed because of this flaw in the design and your fail to acknowledge that.

  • unknown problem using WMP 12 no sound when played the song in the folder but has sound when he played in the player

    Hi all

I have a weird problem using WMP (Windows Media Player v12).  When I double-click a song of in my library, the trail seems to play, but didn't have all the sounds.

However, if I hover over the same path and then click Preview, the pop-up, the track plays with sound.

When the track (s) do not play, all indications show the way to correctly play through of progress ' Now Playing ' screen, but no sound.

In the past, when I clicked on any MP3 file, he would play using WMP.  Now, when I click on an MP3 file, it brings just "Now Playing" and looks LIKE he plays, but no sound.

I have looked & looked for clues as to why it may be of WMP, but I can't understand the problem.  I also searched the Web for 'day' drivers in the Win System Manager, but Win says that pilots are "up to date".

I have rebuilt the DB Library (twice) by removing the DB files in from WMP to a procedure in a WMP support forum. I also went to check the audio device in Device Mgr Win (mine is one on one). Everything seemed ok.  I also changed the devices to "Win by default" to what I think my onboard audio device is called.  I thought that that can do, but it's not.

I was struggling with this since the day of the year.  Please help me solve this problem!

    Hi, Pie,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Appreciate your efforts to try to resolve the problem that you have set so far. I guess that is not a problem with the driver that ultimately, the songs are playable using the media player. It could be a corrupted in Windows Media Player framework that is causing the problem. Let's run the Windows Media Player troubleshooting utility that resets all parameters to the player. • Stutters audio during media playback all the

    Hello world

This problem seems to have been haunts many people - I read this days, but everything I've found are unresolved threads.
During multimedia playback - who is watch videos stored on my hard disk, streaming from youtube, listen to music on my hard drive and streaming music on the net - my sound triggers or stutters for a fraction of a second. A bit like a record jump. It happens every 20 seconds or more. It is therefore impossible to enjoy movies and music, but my main concern is recording.
I've updated my edge from the website sound card driver Dell as well as card external sound (Line 6 KB37) that I use for recording. Stuttering product regardless of the sound card I have cross so I doubt that it is a driver problem, although I'm not gifted in computer science so I could be wrong. I tried to disable all the sound improvements but that becomes me anywhere I spent the last two days that I wanted to use record new songs to scouring the web for answers and I found nothing that works.
I use a Dell Inspiron 1545 age of 2 years with 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium. 4 GB of ram and a Pentium Dual - Core CPU. T4300 2.10 GHz, 2.10 GHz.
Any ideas what I can do? This has worked well in the past and only recently begun trolling. What other information can I provide to facilitate this? Virus tests reveal nothing, not even in safe mode. I just defragmented it, ran CCleaner and Temp File Cleaner and I'm completely stumped.
Thanks in advance for your help, I'll watch this space and pass on any info you may need on my system.
    See you soon,.

    Justin,

We discussed the same here: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3517/t/19412524.aspx?PageIndex=3 and we found the solution to the problem, it seems that MS Update wants to install an "optional update' - storage - Intel Intel(r) ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI Controller (until June 2011). But Intel has a more recent version updated to: Intel® Rapid Storage Technology, here:http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?ProductID=2101&DwnldID=20215&lang=eng&iid=dc_rss and after having removed the Updated MS a and replaced by Intel (Second link here). The problem has been resolved and no more stuttering, hum at all. I did a wipe full hard drive, Format and Fresh install of Win7 Home Premium x 64, and it fixed my problem too. I ignore MS Update for it and installed the Intel One rather after reformat and fresh install, just to make sure that it doesn't happen. So two options to see if you get as your fixed. Good luck to all.

    Thank you

  • Media Center crashes during video playback of need to hard reboot.

Hi, any help would be greatly appreciated as this has been driving me crazy for several days of attempted troubleshooting, Googling, try many things to fix it... first of all let me apologize in advance for the length of my post but I wanted to give as much information as possible to help anyone trying to rule out things...!

    OK, so the problem...

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit as a clean install on my HTPC, after the first do a complete 1 & 0 format of the hard drive that had previously installed Vista Home Premium, installation went well and I proceeded to install all updates to Windows, and then update drivers for all my hardware.

The system is used only as a HTPC, it's my only TV and video playback device, (so reliability is essential for me) and it is connected to a defintion of Sony, 44 "Widescreen Rear Projection TV Standard, via S-video, with audio goes to a system DD/DTS 5.1 Surround Sound Speaker Logitech z5500, via a sound card by using the optical cable (specifications of the complete system below).  The system worked flawlessly more of one year using Vista SP1 32 - bit, until I upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate on the hardware configuration identical.

Since installing Windows 7, it worked fine for the first week, not a single problem, I am housebound are disabled so that the system is in continuous service 24/7 and he had no problems in the first 10 days, however all of a sudden I'm getting now random freezes requiring a hard reset , but it occurs during video playback of any of my 3 hard disks, or when you try to play a DVD in Media Center. Which led me to think it is associated video (problem of driver or hardware fault) card, disc or HARD associated.

Frost can occur sometimes, after a few minutes of reading, or sometimes after a few hours, requiring a restart of the hard to get the sytem to answer.

Reading of the TV via the TV Tuner card is not affected, its only when playing of stored content (MPEG2, h264 .mkv .avi files or DVD) are all media SD HD and all played fine for the first few days.

Intermittent freezes occurring could block the system completely freeze the image and audio and all activities, nothing would work at all, I tried windwos keyboard, ctrl alt del, nothing at all, to do a reboot hard to recover the system, it can then be either minutes or sometimes an hour before the same thing happens again. I tried to use different video files in the case of the corruption of files, different DVD to exclude damaged disks, same result.

    System includes:

All of the above software has been installed by using the latest available versions downloaded from the manufactuer sites, which claim to support Windows 7 and all have been updated regularly since its installation.

I have tried many of the suggestions I've seen posted to try to solve this problem, including:

    1. Uninstalling and reinstalling Media Center and WMP
    2. Disabling subtitles in Media Center
    3. Disable unused mobo onboard devices in the BIOS
    4. Update BIOS
    5. Updated all drivers

    12. Tried playing files AVI of HDD separated to avoid a HARD drive problem - same problem occurs on all readers
    13. I tried change graphics card for an ATI HD4850 with the latest ATI drivers - same problem.
    14. Tried to change the audio output S/PDIF instead of Xonar Soundcard onboard - same problem occurs
    15. Tried the Windows 7 repair facility - problem persists.
    16. Tried to uninstall all updates of Windows -same problem
    17. I tried the system restore to before the occurrence of the problem started - no help
    18. tried to re-downlaoding all hardware drivers updated and re - install in the case of a corrupt driver download - no chance even problem

Essentially none of the abvoe helped to solve this problem, and it becomes really frustrating to have to restart the PC again and again trying to watch a recorded video file or DVD.

After remove all the above I can only assume that it is a problem with Windows 7, needing a fix of the millisecond.  At least I think that I've exhausted everything I can try... ???

With what is my HTPC, if I can't perform reliably, I have to reinstall Vista, Vista was not the best OS, but at least it was reliable for me in terms of my HTPC.

I was really eager to get Windows 7, I used the RTM version on my netbook for some time before I made the decision to purchase the full retail version for my HTPC, and never had any of these problems with my installation of netbook that I used for playback of media files from an external USB HDD.  So I'm really disappointed to have these problems after doing all that I could to make sure that Windows 7 would work OK.

If anyone can give me any suggestions of what I can try, anythign I can too watching, or if someone has hada similar problem and found a solution for him... Please, please, post more details, because I am really at my wits end now and have to resort to watch the recordings on a 10.2 "screen of my netbook with some speakers of the small laptop usb, after spending so much money on my system and surround sound Setup HTPC, its devastating to think that I'll have to go back to Vista...

Absoultely ANY suggestions would be appreciated...

Thanks in advance for any help and once again, I'm sorry for the length of the post, if there is more information needed I've not provided above, please let me know and I will try to publish as soon as POSSIBLE...

After the forum of scouring and reding of countless discussions, it seems, there is some sort of problem with Media Network Sharing tha could be the cause of this problem, as many people have reported that disabling wmpnetwk.exe in the Services.msc solves the problem.

It's not an ideal solution for me, as I have a HTPC in the room that I play media from the main HTPC downstairs and all the hype MS seemed to suggest that Win 7 is it is much easier to achieve, and has been one of the main points of sale used in one of their commercials for the operating system.

This my MS you need to pay attention to this problem and work towards a solution and allow users to know when the solution has been provided, probably have a service that must be disabled to let the operating system work reliably is quite counterproductive.

Nobody seems to answer my post above with other suggestions and wmpnetwork.exe disable workaround was published last November, all the while still there is no permanent solution...?

EDIT: Just to confirm this wmnetwork.exe Netwrok disabling media sharing in the services, as well as disabling the media streaming in the Netwrok Sharing Center > advanced sharing Options, solved the constant crashes for me.

So all the MS speak of 3rd party drivers for the cards video and other material or material defects are to blame, it's total BS, the only problem is to do with Windows and Windows Media Sharing, lets hope, they decide to do something to fight it... !!

  • Satellite L750 - suttering her vibrator trolling during multimedia playback

OK, I bought this refurbished Satellite L750/L755 and Ive had for almost 2 months now.

Ive been implemented with this problem so far because everything I tried initially had no effect.
So now im coming straight on the toshiba forums in the hope of a solution.

OK so as the subject line says there is a problem during multimedia playback. Any media. YouTube streaming, DVDs, games etc. It is difficult to describe what is happening over a stuttering / hum, which seems trolling for about a second and then again be well.

However this can happen anywhere up to 10 times in a single song on YouTube. But it is not localized to the sound. As the sound lags, made the video, but not to the same extent.

The video is usually stops and then cut off after. The sound seems just stuck to the second, the last buzz he played.

Another thing I noticed was that the buzzing, accompanied each time a huge spike in my CPU usage. sometimes at 100%. but the task mannager shows nothing by using the CPU at these moments there.

So now to the solution and what I tried

While I was shopping I noticed that - Dell - owners seemed to have a similar problem which was caused by a pilot defective in fast Intel storage system files, but I have installed that it couldn't have been.

I noticed that Toshiba had released new drivers for a problem similar to that caused by the Atheros WLAN card, which has my laptop. I did download and try this driver, but that the problem online but also offline, I thought this might be a longshot. of course, I was right.

If anyone can help I would really appritiate it.

    Thank you very much.

    > Another thing I noticed was that the buzzing, accompanied each time a huge spike in my CPU usage. sometimes at 100%. but the task mannager shows nothing by using the CPU at these moments there.

I had this pavilion 15 for 1 week, it came directly from HP. I plugged into my audio Bose speakers and when I play music the volume varies from top down. The internal speakers have also the same problem. I tried all the fixes, admin and because of the number of other messages from people who suffer from this problem, it seems to be a software problem. Realtek audio program is RTKVHD64.sys 6.0.1.7195.

What exact download do I solve this problem?

    Thank you

Just solved the problem with another thread by forum on this site dealing with the same problem.

    Of the other thread...

    (1) open Device Manager

    (2) amine down to "audio, video and game controllers".

    (3) right click on the audio device listed and click 'properties '.

    4) click on the 'Driver' tab

    (5) select "Update Driver... »

    (6) in the window that opens, click "Browse my computer for driver software".

    (7) in the window that opens, click on "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

    (8) to the list of available drivers, select "High definition Audio Device" (the generic Microsoft Windows driver)

This completely removes the pilot OEM AND Beats Audio "improvements."

I now take clear, sharp, clean, high-fidelity music. I listen to it using iTunes (free) which features a build-in, it works fine now with Windows Media Player also checked.

    Good luck!!!
