VPN, send & receive email not working not
I have a wireless router that I am able to connect to with my new toshiba laptop.
I can login to my work email address and see the messages, I can also surf the web without complaining. However, I can't send oir receive e-mail.
I tried to connect via my PC at home and that works fine?
Can someone tell me if there is a standard protocol that must be enabled or checked on my router settings that can block the actual transfer of the info?
Are you using Vista?
Do you use Vista's own Mail application?
Then maybe you should take a look in this doc ;)

About 3 months ago, I started to apply the zone enter the network password in Outlook when I tried to send/receive email. I was using WIndows 2003. I worked with my ISP, that would be to delete and recreate my email accounts (sometimes it would work for a day or so, but the problem will come back). Microsoft has stated that they do not support Windows 2003 and recommended that update for 2007. A day after the upgrade, the message reappears. I had my speed of the laptop and hard drive updated and cleaned for any potential problem, but the problem still exists.

Windows Mail automatic send/receive does not
Windows Mail in Vista Business. Automatic send/receive does not work, but when I manually click on the send/receive button, it works very well. All I can do to fix this? Thank you.
Brian,
Found the problem... the setting 'include this account... '. "became somehow unchecked. I have re-selected it, and everything seems fine.
Thanks for your help.
In fact, I'm a little embarrassed that this little obvious problem escaped my attention. :)

Recently went from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail. Since that time I can't send/receive emails without this message popup Windows live mail ID error 0x800ccc78 Server Error 530.
You will need to ask here:

BlackBerry smartphones send/receive emails to business via Wifi
Hello
Is there a way to define the place of "BOLD" to send / receive e-mails to company via Wifi when, in a trusted network zone?
Hi Kris_Stuart69 and welcome to the forums,
You should have no problems at all sending or receiving emails (BES or BIS) when connected to WiFi. When your "BOLD" is connected to the mobile network and WiFi at the same time, it will use the WiFi as the preferred connection. You can test this by making that WiFi is connected (connection-> Services Status Manager) and it will show you what service is currently being used for Mobile, BlackBerry Internet Service and BlackBerry Enterprise Service voice. When BIS and BES show free 'WiFi', you would be able to turn off the mobile network and you will always be able to send/receive emails. Once you have done so, turn on the mobile network and you'll see the link always shows as "WiFi" instead of "Mobile network".
I hope this helps

Send/receive, send all and receive all do not work on my windows mail. Can't get it to check for mail by clicking on the (default) name under these three buttons. What's wrong?
I was wondering if you might be able to give me instructions on remove and recreate the same account without losing anything.
Thank you.
Ok. So, you have not configured the account yourself.
It will take some doing...
Open Windows Mail > click Tools at the top > click Accounts > click on the account in question > click Properties >
Click general: copy everything that was seized, including the check mark.
Click servers: do the same thing
Click Connect: doing the same thing
Click on security: even. Click Advanced: do the same thing.
Click OK.You are now back on the window Internet accounts > click the account again > click on delete.
The old account is now deleted.
Now re-create the account...
Open Windows Mail > search above, click HELP > click on view help > click Windows Mail: establishes an account from the beginning to the end.
Follow the instructions and use the information that you copied down.t-4-2

I have a new computer come with Windows 7 on it. But he had no office on this subject. I got my Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003 and installed on this computer. First, all programs (Word, Publisher, etc.) open, except Outlook. There was an error code. So, we found ourselves completely uninstall and then reinstall Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003.
Now this time, Outlook open very well, but there was no send/receive button to be seen. No, there will be no in the buttons add tab or the other. He is nowhere to be seen. WTF?
No send/receive button is usually no e-mail accounts have been set up. Have you created an e-mail account?

I'm unable to send/receive emails.
Send/receive blocked
I'm unable to send/receive e-mails due to an attempt to send and receive photos that appear to have hung my send/receive function. Whenever I try to send/receive, it results in an error message. How can I overcome this? Unfortunately, I am not very good with computer jargon, but if anyone can send me a help I can working to unlock it I would be very grateful thank you!
Connect via the webmail of your account and verify that it works correctly for this purpose. If this is the case, then try setting up a new identity via file | Identities. Then add your e-mail account it (make sure that it didn't y no e-mail scanning turned on - see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3), and then see if it works very well. If so, you can go to file | Import | Messages to bring them from the old identity.

could not send email, now I can't send or receive email. I contacted my IP to see if it was a problem on their end, and it wasn't. Help, please!
Looks like you are running in a block of 25 port.As a general rule, the owner of port 25 SMTP server you use must be the same as the entity that provides your Internet connection at the moment. To learn more about this issue, see anti-spamThe workarounds available when sending abroad are the following:1. use webmail to send (via your browser).2. ask your ISP if they have one port other than '25' for SMTP.3. If you use the same connection away from home frequently,Replace with the SMTP belonging in this regard. It's a bitdifficult, but if you want to go this route, I can provide more details.4. If you frequently send to multiple locations, get a free Gmail account,Configure it to POP access, set up in Windows Mail and use it toyour shipment of household chores. Gmail uses port 465 for SMTP, which is not blockedas port 25 is.Gary van, Microsoft MVP (Mail)
