vSphere Client 5.1.0 has an extra frame

I have a strange error in my vSphere Client. It has a framework within the program. Fixing system is.

How can I remove this framework? It seems that the program loads the program...

I changed the ID of 20 to 40 for the vSphere Client and restart VMware vCenter Server Appliance, and now it works without additional frame... :-)

    Hello world

I have a number of active hosts VMWare ESXi 5 I manage, but since yesterday I encounter the above error.

Ok. Thank you community vExpert and Lukasz of my team, we found easy reason perhaps, but not at the first glance for me

We had the installer by default "Source of identity" for Active Directory then when I used only root for connection I got the error with wrong password.

In this possible case is just to connect to vcenter using root@localos credintials.

  • What "vsphere client lib" or "data-services - 1.0.0" jar file to use in client plugin vsphere-web

My client plugin project vsphere web contains the two files jar "vsphere-client-lib" or "data-services - 1.0.0. These two jars has many common classes with identical or different method signatures. I used the DataException class in my code that uses the signature of the method of the vsphere client file - lib.jar.

When I build the project, then sometimes data-services - 1.0.0 jar file gets loaded first and so, build becomes due to a lack of signature of the method.

I need to know why there are so many classes common to these two pots?

Can we use only single (also available in the sdk directory) jar of vsphere-client-lib pot instead of data-services - 1.0.0 jar in plugin?

We can achieve all features using vsphere-client-lib pot instead of data-services jar file - 1.0.0.

Simply compile your Java with client/vsphere-Java code - lib.jar.  I don't know why you use data-service - 1.0.0 (and where you found it). It is not part of the SDK and is not the doc or samples.

I want him connect directly to the host by using the client Vsphere and Vcenter not connect at all.

However, when he tries to connect to the host using the host name, it gets the error:

"cannot complete the connection due to a bad user name or password"

I added myself to the host as a power user and I get the same error

I have added my name from AD domain host, added an entry in my DNS, more I added a domain suffix to the host.

    No change.

I can log in as root to the host through the vsphere client.

I tried to restart the vcenter services and received the error

Then I tried to start vcenter sevice

Once I rebooted two virtual machines (vCenter and PSC) it works short time (about 2-3 days).

Who knows how to solve this problem?

    Hi KissTobor,

I solved my problem, but it was different in my case.

In vsphere web clients log I found massaes something like this "psc.test.local don't answer."

I try ping psc.test.local, result was compensate, DNS name has not solved. As a result, I found that I can't ping my domen controller. Problem was in my network, routing did not work well.

Thanks for trying to help me.

  • Cannot connect my vsphere client to manage my host... pls help!

Thank you for reading... I'm new to esxi 5.1 and inherit a T110 Dell running a HD-250 GB for the OS (Esxi and Server 2008 r2) and 2-1 TB H.D for mirrow to SHARE DATA with the Microsoft software... (what a waste ah)

everything was fine until about 2 weeks that I'm unable to connect to manage the server, it gives me the error:

VSphere client could not connect to "IP address"

A unknown connection error has occurred. (The client may not send a request to the server. (La connexion sous-jacente a été fermée: une erreur inattendue s'est produite sur un envoi.))

If I point the browser to the IP Address of the host as: https://hostip (the page cannot be display)

    -Windows server is running

    -i can ping the Esxi

Problem is that I have to update the memory and I'm afraid that after I have does not connect... and then I'm in big trouble... because I hand turned on inside the Esxi server.

I did not backup, but the person in front of me was not do backups with veeam... instead they used a regular backup of windows on a USB software... I tried to create a re-usable collection and of course does not work... He was asking for a driver... I think it was for the hard drive... I free veeam now... but I can't connect it either... the box of Esxi.

I would be grateful for any suggestion... Thanks in advance.

You have access to the T110 Dell physical console?  Can you sign here?  If so, you could restart management agents:

VMware KB: Restarting management on an ESX or ESXi host agents

You can also enable the shell that allows you to try all kinds of connectivity tests:

VMware KB: Using ESXi Shell in ESXi 5.x

    Connectivity tests:

VMware KB: Troubleshooting network and TCP/UDP port on ESX/ESXi connectivity problems

  • ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR connecting local vsphere client on Mac OS with Chrome

    Hello

I'm trying to follow the steps to set up the development environment and the Hello World example for vSphere Web Client Setup SDK (SDK 5.5.0). )

The result of the measures I have Setup SpringSourceTool suite, vsphere client sdk, flex sdk, sdk toolkit for eclipse. I configured the server Installer Virgo followed by adding on the example Hello world plugin.

Then I started the web server of Virgo and the console did not show any errors.

But now when I try to navigate to https://localhost:9443 / vpshere-client I get an error of connection SSL (ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR error code).

I don't see the corresponding errors in the newspapers of the Virgin. Where appropriate to the error logs could be connected? I appreciate all the comments.

    Thank you

    PSON

    other details:

    running on MacOS.

To install VWC on developer machine, I downloaded the serenity - client.zip.

I also created client.properties, manually filling url information and the digital footprint

(I don't see this post until now because it was in the 'bad' forum Client SDK)

We have seen this error in 5.5 with the latest version of Chrome on Mac OS.  It must be linked to the SSL changes made in Chrome.  If anyone has workaround for Chrome share please!

In the meantime, you can use Firefox or go back to an older version of Chrome.

FYI, this error will not occur with 6.0 SDK will be released in a few weeks.
