W32tm Windows Server time is off by 3 minutes. Perhaps.

I have my Windows servers get their time to our primary domain controller, which is configured for synchronization with 0.north - america.pool.org.

If I make one
w32tm /stripchart /computer:0.north-america.pool.org
Time that all the computers are on.  Same for time.nist.gov
However, if I go to http://tycho.usno.navy.mil/cgi-bin/timer.pl , I get a time which is 3 minutes earlier.
My w32tm Setup seems to work very well, but there seems to be some differences on what the exact time is according to what time server ask.
Any ideas?

    Hello Sir/Madam,

Help! I have a pair of window Server 2008 R2 and a pair of window Server R2 2012, who are the synchronization of time to one destination.

After that time synchronization is successful, the window Server 2008 R2 clocks are still 1 second faster than those in the 2012 window servers.

Is there anyone who got the same problem as me?

  • Clean installed and active Windows 8 signed me off every 10 Minutes guest "you are about to be signed within 30 seconds.

    Hi all

I have reinstalled Windows 8 on one of my Acer laptop which came with OEM Windows 8. Because the key Embedded BIOS, install never asked for a key. After you have installed the wireless network driver, the computer is connected to the internet and glass get immediately activated. However, the system alerted me 'You are about to be signed in 30 seconds' shortly after and rebooted itself.

I guess it was because that the limitation of the inactive windows (when I connected first of all, I have not get Windows activated due to no internet), so I let it reboot and continue to play with it. But the reboot thing won't go away.

One thing is that when the system first rebooted itself, no installation or major update does, so I guess that nothing dangerous is done.

Someone met with such a problem and how to fix it?

    Thank you

I tried to restore all starts and start services gradually from the clean boot state.

What is interesting, is that, after all what can once again, the system is absolutely fine.

I guess the question was because of the activation process, or a problem a start-up program or service such as a fast storage intel, content etc.

Thanks for the help, I think I should be fine.

  • FTP connection times out on Windows Server 2003 when you run Windows Firewall

This seems to come up recently, perhaps with a recent Windows automatic update.

I have FTP server running on Windows Server 2003 R2.

The NIC has the firewall Windows is activated, which allows port 21 (FTP) through.

When you use an FTP client from a workstation, the FTP client expires when you navigate to a folder with many files, say the folder/images of a website with 10 + MB in total (which isn't really that much). Navigate to other folders with smaller files seems fine.

Now, when I turn off the firewall of the server, then I can use a FTP client on a workstation to access any FTP folder regardless of the number of files or the size of files and everything is fast fast.

This brings me to the conclusion that the problem lies in the Windows Server 2003 firewall, and we must have this option disabled for FTP clients do not expire.

  • Server time and time local (Dreamweaver) off the coast of 1 hour

How can I get Dreamweaver to show me the correct timestamp on my files on the server and my local computer? When I telnet on my server, the time stamp on the files is correct. My server time is correctly set to He (GMT-5). My local computer time is set correctly. I asked my sysadmin if PureFTP has all zone settings and sysadmin told me that all my server time and time zones are specific. My sysadmin says that Drwamweaver is the culprit.

I lived with this for a long time, but it is extremely annoying and I would like to address.

I searched high and low in the option settings in Dreamweaver for a sort of zone setting or offset - found nothing.

Someone knows a problem of out-of-sync of 1 hour between real time stamp file on the server and what Dreamweaver it shows in the display of remote/Local files?

    Thank you.

    During the hour.
