Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch killed my Photoshop

I have a new laptop with Win 7 64 bit and Photoshop works great since last week and the other half because I got the computer. I installed a new Wacom Bamboo Pen and Touch Tablet and now does not open Photoshop.

I get a message "Adobe Photoshop has stopped working" before the program even loads. I downloaded the latest Wacom drivers and installed those and no change.

Any ideas?

Here is a link for the drivers. I think I chose the right pair. November 25 pilots are ones you have. fix?

  • can not turn on pen and touch after update of windows 10

I have a brand new Pavilion 17 t. I received 24 February 2016 and it's now March 5, 2016. When I had first touchscreen laptop all the features worked well. Sine, then I had a couple of updates from HP that requires restart. Two days ago I noticed the touch function is more worked. When I go to the pen and touch the properties of all the buttons are grayed. I know it's possible that among the updates may be turned off. How can I find out what happened and to cancel it. I use a lot touch. It is as if my monitor is not able to touch. How can I check it while it is still under warranty?

I don't want to do it again. I'm looking for the commands from the command prompt, reg fix, uninstall the updatethat caused, etc.. I want technical solutions, not wiping my OS. That's what the helpdesk people recommend when they have no idea how to solve a problem. No, recoveries and restorations are last options only, not first.

However, I think that I have solved the problem. I have a correspondent who is a technology of tier 4 in Florida, she recommended to restart 'Touch keyboard and writing Panel Service' service. The buttons were available in 'The Tablet PC settings' and I was able to reactivate the touch settings and calibrate.

For now, my problem is solved.

  • How can I get the shortcuts pen and touch the back feature?

I have a laptop of Timeline X 5820 T running Win 7 Ultimate. I recently had a problem with the software refused to install so I tried a clean boot. The software is now installed, but the touchpad on the laptop now moves the pointer instead of being able to scroll the screen as before. I had this problem before - any time that System Mechanic to clean the registry. That was solved by arresting him this and roll back. There is obviously a setting that controls this registry. Enter the pen and touch in control panel, everything seems to be set correctly. Try the training of Pen and Touch does not work. I really miss this feature, so any help would be appreciated. • Win7 & T272HL - No. Pen and touch available for this view.

When I plugged my screen nine of T272HL this morning on my laptop to Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit, the touchscreen is recognized on the second monitor, a Dell 24 "no touch.  This same thing happened when I hooked an Acer T232 touchscreen as well.

I opened the 'Pen and Touch' settings and clicked on the setup button. Screens become white, and I press Enter until the text is on the Acer T272HL monitor. I press the touch screen and... nothing. Tap it again and the configuration screens disappear, but the events of the touchscreen always register on Dell, not the Acer monitor. Note that it * works * on the Acer T232 monitor.

The Acer T272HL is selected in the drop-down list box configuration, but just below, he says "No. Pen or Touch available for this Display. The monitor is presented as 'Generic PnP monitor' in Device Manager. What gives?

I went to the Acer website to get a driver for the monitor, and after downloading it and unpacking, are the only two files. HCKX files - files of presentation of material compatibility of Windows 8! I don't think that these should be displayed as downloadable drivers on the Acer support page...

    Thank you, Tommy.

In order to close some this thread, I tried something "Off the wall" on my laptop and it actually worked.

Suspecting that maybe the nVidia Control Panel and the Windows 7 multi-screen applications are arguing somehow, I open the nVidia Control Panel and changed the positioning of the two external monitors (their rotation from left to right). Then, I swapped them back to where they were before. My laptop screen is disabled.

After you apply the 'changes' (no real changes were made, you mind), the Acer's T272HL now displays "Pen and Touch available" on the "Tablet PC settings" dialog box in Control Panel of Windows 7. I could properly select the Acer T272HL monitor the touch events and it all seems to work as expected.

  • Pen and touch system

I was wondering if the Pen and Touch function is part of the windows system 8 or it depends on what model of your PC is. I have an HP 19-2114 and my pen and touchscreen message in my PC info is "no pen or touch input is not available for this view." I tried to watch the HID Manager device for the device of pen and touch, but I don't think I have one. So I was wondering if only some models of pc have the function of touch screen or I can install a device to make my PC touchscreen?

    Hello @Croire,

I read your post about how you wonder if function pen and touch is available on your desktop computer, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!

According to the Product Specifications for your computer, this all-in-one is not equipped with a touchscreen. For more information about the Pen and Touch function, please take a look at this document on touch input is available on my computer?

    I hope this helps!

  • I can't find my pen and touch options in hardware?

I have an Asus 8 Windows touch screen laptop. A few days ago, I opened my laptop only to find the touch of the screen no longer works. I did a lot of research and have not found anything useful. My pen and touch option, as well as my touch screen calibration, disappeared. I don't know what could have happened to cause this. I can provide more information if needed, although I'm not savvy computer 100%. I hope this is the right section. Also do not know how to attach screenshots. Help, please! Thank you.

    Method 1:
Troubleshooting after he says "enable USB Input Device. «Apply the hotfix to.»
Troubleshooting completed: Troubleshooting failed to automatically correct these questions
found. You will find more details below.

    Problems encountered:
Peripheral input USB is disabled (fixed)
Hardware changes could not be detected (detected)

This was one of the first methods I had tried when looking towards the top of my problem, but for reasons that I don't remember the procedure had not worked. I went through these steps once again, not sure if I need to fix the USB input device because I assumed it was my wireless USB mouse that has been disabled. I went through the steps again; fixed the USB input device, and a few seconds later he started working again! My touchpad icon, as well as my pen and touchscreen options and calibration of the touch screen reappeared. Thank you very much! It's a huge relief to have my touch screen works again. You've been a great help, thank you again!

  • How can I get my support for Wacom Bamboo tablet to work in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and PS CS6?

I bought a Wacom Bamboo tablet medium yesterday and I downlaoded as Photoshop since the supplied Setup CD.
I'm having some trouble with the Bamboo pen not working in some applications and working with others - but the main problem is that

I try and move the slider of the computer with the bamboo on the tablet pen does not work.

I don't know what to do! Help, please?

  • Wacom Bamboo Pen (CTL-460) on Photoshop CS6 ext - Win7x64

Well, obviously this is a known problem, but I did not yet find

a real solution any where on the net.  Everyone is who

If he works made by chance.

By the time the pen gets within reach of the Tablet, it

immediately zoomed in and always click any

    What.

Disable "Zoom with the mouse wheel" in preferences

to prevent the problem of zoom.  The feather still

    does a right click.

All the drivers and software are up-to-date, including the patch

for Photoshop.  The pen and the tablet work perfectly in all the

other programs, including paint, Sketchbook Pro, and

    CorelDRAW.

EDIT: Exactly the same problem in Flash Pro CS6.  It works

very well everywhere except products CS6.

    EDIT #2 and RESPONSE:

Took a lot of messing around with it, but the problem

turns out be the drivers from windows update.  When

She wants to look for drivers NOT to use windows update.

The Wacom 5.3.2.1 update works perfectly, as

as windows are not going online to find.

Glad to know that this update fixes for you. He usually does!

  • Wacom Bamboo Pen is usable on TPT2?

My model is 2679-27U (so strange that I can not find this model in the Support page).

Wacom Bamboo is usable on TPT2? It doesn't seem to work here...

    Thanks in advance!

Know that Wacom - in their wisdom - to call different pens and technologies by the brand name "bamboo." They are NOT all compatible.

Here's a very useful thread explaining what conforms to what:

  • Pen and touch with Photoshop CC synchronization problem

So, I recently bought a drawing tablet to use while painting in Photoshop.  This works perfectly for everything, except when it comes to Photoshop.  The program knows that I want to paint with the Brush tool, it repsonds and recognizes even pressure that I put on the Tablet, but it not to do so in harmony with the cursor... When I use the Brush tool, "painting" is not on the slider, but upward and to the left of this one.

For example, if I try and put a single point in the middle of the page using the Brush tool, I would like to move the cursor in the middle of live, press down, and him point looks upward to the left where I hit.

I know that this isn't a problem with my tablet, because I've already updated the driver and I tested it on all other programs.  The only time where the problem occurred was when I went to CC in Photoshop and use the Brush tool... all the tools in perfectly in sync with the cursor.

Something I noticed about the program, however, is that whenever I'm not in the Photoshop window, the cursor is in the usual place that I cling to it, but good once I click on my Photoshop window, it moves the cursor down and to the right.

I don't know if there is a problem with the brush settings or something of this matter, but I know that this has nothing to do with my computer or my tablet.

The Tablet is an Oh (well cheap, I know... but I'm a poor student)

CC of Photoshop is the latest version, and I tried to reinstall without solution.

I would be very grateful for help.

    Thank you

This does not sound like something that we have seen, and I think that something is happening at the level of the driver.

One thing to try is to change your laptop computer at 100% scale factor:

-Go to control panel > hardware and sound > display

Change the cursor to 'small '.

Log off, then back to try.

When you test the updates, you use Windows Update, or go directly to the Web of Hulon site: http://www.huiontablet.com/download/

We also saw a related problem paint on Windows 8. This has been corrected in Windows 8.1, so update can also try.

  • bamboo pen and Brush tool

Hi I had my first tablet wacom (pen bamboo) and cs4 yesterday but it seems that I can't get the Brush tool to work.

the mouse everything seems fine but if I use the brush pen will not work. If I continue to draw it starts to create very light lines after 2 or 3 seconds, getting darker over time. If I use the mouse, it creates straight lines away.it doesn't happen if I use the Brush tool, the pen works for example normal.

I checked my opacity and my settings of the Tablet, but still I can't understand it. because I could not find anyone with the same problem I am sure it is a problem of "newbie". any ideas?

    Please excuse my English.

    sincerely

    Aya

Check your pressure sensitivity settings in the Panel extended brush options.

  • Using WinTab and ink (stylus) with Photoshop CC 2015

I have to use ink with Photoshop.  Someone said: I need aAdd a Photoshop WinTab.

I don't know what it is.

    Hi josephzupko,

CC in Photoshop using Windows of ink which is a system used to interact Ps with your stylus pen.

Windows ink will give you the best results of the race and allow you to use your Tablet PC or convertible device without having to install a driver. You must activate Windows of ink in the Wacom Control Panel. To change, press on and hold features, use the Pen and Touch Control Panel.

If your Tablet does not support Wintab driver see tablet support for Photoshop on Windows 8

    Kind regards

  • X 220 tablet screen type indicates that (and touch the problem of entry / does not work)

Hey everybody. I have a question since lenovo seems to lack a complaints when it comes to this. I bought a used X 220 and can not identify whether she should be multitouch or pen of entry only on models. Screen part number is (according to lenovo page):
    04W3462

    Model number is 42962WU

Touch screen with your finger does not work (if any).
I don't have a stylus (pen) currently since she was not provided with the laptop BUT:
Said property windows: no pen or touch input is available for this view.
Reinstalled windows freshly twice as well as drivers (once downloaded manually, twice used Lenovo system update)

Says always the same and there is no tablet or pen and touch settings in Control Panel.

In some other subjects, someone suggested a similar problem as solution installation wacom pen drivers, lenovo Digitizer drivers etc.
Tried the drivers provided and with each driver throws the same error: a Tablet supported is not found on the system

Maybe there detect pen close to the laptop and it should be good?

    A I just got scammed?

    Thanks a bunch!

For all of you who have the same problem, it's a hardware problem (motherboard).

  • Little lag when you use the Tablet Wacom on LR6 and Windows 10

Hello, I have recently upgraded to Windows 10. I have the latest version of Ligtroom 6.

When I use my Wacom Bamboo tablet and try to move a cursor, initially it does not, move initial position, it climbs to approximately + 5 or - 5. If I continue to slide, it follows then correctly my movement of the stylus.

I tried to reinstall the drivers, but it didn't fix it. He nevere, that has happened with previous versions of Lightroom and it does not occur with any other application.

    Is this a known bug?

In the Wacom tablet properties / Grip Pen / Mapping of audit of the tab to see if "Use Windows Ink" is unchecked.

(It was the fix/work around in previous versions of versions/LR pilot).

It looks like when you improve either LR or your Wacom driver, that it gets reset back to the manufacturer.

When I was with LR2015.1 I had to have the setting ink disabled Windows so that the Wacom pen works properly

Just check now and in ink of Windows LR2015.2 has been activated and it works well.

I have not yet upgraded to LR2015.2.1 to see if I need to disable Windows ink again to make it work with this latest version.

Currently my Wacom driver is 6.3.14 - 1 (don't has not amended it LR 2015.1 to LR2015.2)
