Waiting for a concurrent program

We need to make a report of Bi Publisher in the accounts receivable module.
But this report of BI Publisher should wait for the concurrent program answered at the end.

How should I wait for the concurrent program finish in BI publisher?

From your standard program is intended first of all it would be picked up by CP before your program customized.
Incompatible Definig is more than enough to make sure that your report is going to get fired after standard report.

    It depends on the type of report - Oracle does not provide the source code for all concurrent programs.

    For example, the executable 'Active users' method is "Oracle Reports" and you can find it under $FND_TOP/reports / Directory - place you (responsibility of the system administrator > simultaneous > program > define, then ask the simultaneous program name to get the name of the executable file (FNDSCURS) and you can find the report FNDSCARU.rdf in $FND_TOP/reports / Directory.)

  • "Waiting for in time (RT PXI target) real answer" error when the program is waiting interruptions

    Hello

    I developed an application to detect interruptions generated by an electronic card and act accordingly. The program was developed in labview, but she calls a dll; created with labwindows. The dll is scheduled to open the visa communication, select the events and install the interrupt handler and when an interruption is detected, it reads the value of the different registers of the map and returns to labview to view.

    The problem is that when the program expects an interruption, a prompt appears with the message "Waiting for real-time (RT PXI target) real answer" and the only option I have is to click on the button to disconnect the pxi or just wait. If I wait and I generate an interrupt, the prompt disappears and the application view data as it was planned.

    To wait for the following code the interruption has been programmed into the function:

    While (flag == 0)

    {

    Sleep (1000);

    }

    When an interruption occurs, the value of flag set to 1 and function continues without any problem. I am not really sure, but here is probably the problem and it probably isn't the best way to wait for a break because the sleep function suspends the thread to the configured time, but at least the load calculation in the PXI is between 0 and 1%. I was wondering if anyone knows how to wait for a break without 'lost' communication with PXI and if there is a better way to do it.

    Any response will be welcome and thank you for them,

    Jaime

    Hey there.

    You see problems with connectivity it's because the thread by DEFAULT CallLibrary nodes running in is the UI (UI) thread - UI thread manages also the important things like, say, communications (especially all the connections for the VI server) and other things that you could run all the time.  A CallLibraryNode is not, by default, intended to be used to execute code that runs for a long period of time.  If you want to do this, you assign the execution of the CallLibrary node to run in the context of a LabVIEW run-time engine thread (by selecting to make it work "in any thread") and not the UI thread.  This can be done through the properties of the CallLibraryNode.  By selecting "run in any thread" the call DLL will be generally in the context of the thread running in the run LabVIEW, which is usually what is meant when even.  The VI CallLibraryNode color change of Orange (UI) to blue (LabVIEW thread) so that you can quickly tell what context the appeal will be in.

    The reason the interface thread user is the default thread is because most often DLLS calls need to be serialized (because of functions is not not thread-safe) and so it serves to protect the integrity of the system.  However, if you know your threads are thread-safe, or you will use these threads for a while, it is best to program the CallLibraryNode to use a Thread of LabVIEW execution rather than the UI thread.

  • An embedded program can wait for little 13/14/15 of MCS?

    Hello. I want to use a program embarked on a map of NI7344 to wait until it is marked to go ahead of the host machine.

    The function 'flex_wait_on_event' would seem the only logical possibility but documentation implies that bits 8 to 15 MustON and MustOff masks are ignored.

    Is there another function, I don't know?  Without doubt, there is a way to do it from the host can set the MCS registry with "flex_set_status_momo".

    Thanks in advance SDG

    SDG,

    have you already discovered, flex_wait_on_event does not work for you. There are several alternatives to interrupt the execution of a program on board. E. g., you can write to a variable on the host. The program on Board could read this value and use a comparison operation to satisfy the conditional jump surgery ocndition. Then go back to a label before the comparison operation and jump out of this loop, when the host has sent the command to continue (= modified the value of the variable on board).

    Could you please explain what you are trying to accomplish with your program on board? In general there are only very few applications that really require embedded programs. Programs on board only work not significantly faster host programs and they also don't run with better determinism, as they are performed in a low-priority task on the 68331 to the Board of Directors.

    A typical usecase for an integrated program prevents a gesture, if forces become too high by monitoring an entry, but they ar analog rarly used to complete implementation move sequences, as there is almost no real advantage for tasks like this.

    Kind regards

    Hi magjoseki,

    Follow the steps in the section "Let fix me it myself" article and check if it helps.

    Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. While the closure of the pc I got the message: "1 program still needs to be closed: (pending of) task host window's task to stop execution and stop tasks that are already running".but there is no program running and I have to force it to close.how to solve?

    Hello

    Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
    Windows, then closing, checks all open programs. If there is, it sends a request for the program to close and wait until the program closes safely, to avoid any loss of data. But, Windows is waiting for some specified
    If you are sure that none of the programs are obviously open, you can try the following steps:
    Press Windows key + r, Type regedit and pres enter. If UAC prompts, click Yes. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE-> expand System-> expand CurrentControlSet-> click on command (exapnd no do this). When you click (or select) control, you can see WaitToKillServiceTimeout. Double-click it to change the value. Set the value to 500 or less than that. Click Ok, and then close the registry editor. Now, restart the PC. If the problem persists, stop and try again and check.
    Be careful with registry access as incorrect values or remove the unknown keys can prevent Windows to start and it will fix it.

    Yes you can.

    If I say incompatible as the same program of 1, which will create problems by running the 2nd program because the package is same?

    When you second the 2nd program it will not work if the 1st program execution, and he has to wait until you have completed the 1st program.

    Don't know what code you use in the first and second procedures or even in the whole, but you can try this in a TEST instance first and check whether or not it works as expected.

    Thank you

    OK, if the drive is inside your computer, making it a hard drive internal and it should get good results for your images and the catalog.

    You've optimized your catalog?  Use the file... Catalog to open the Catalog Manager.  Select your catalog below and hit the 'repair' button (choose 'Repair anyway' If you get this prompt).  Then do the same with the button 'optimize '.

  • Should I buy a MacBook Pro now or wait for the WWDC

    Hello

    Well, I want to buy a MacBook Pro (my first one ever). However, I have read on some sites there is a new version of the MacBook Pro this year (at WWDC).

    Now I'm totally confused. I want to use a MacBook Pro 15 "(8 Go de RAM et 552 Go SSD) to work on large data / Business Intelligence technologies and programming."

    But I don't know if I have to wait for these new features or go ahead and buy this one now. And if these new features will be most useful for what I want to do.

    Thanks in advance.

    Apple has specifically discourages discussions on these forums about what and when the new products will be introduced and what changes there may be.

    The best advice is, what your needs are and this current model meets the.  If so, buy it, if not, don't buy it.   My observation of past changes in the introduction of new models is that the changes are incremental, not radical.  My primary MBP is a 2011 model (with 16 GB of RAM and an SSD hard drive) and I still do not feel outclassed by the current culture.

    Ciao.

    I tried to reinstall the whole arm labview and it does not work.

    Even from labview so you go to tools > ARM > show keil does not work either.  I can open keil in itself, but it doesn't seem to be communicating with labview.

    Figured it out.  Somehow the projects I was working on has been corrupted somehow.  After another reinstalled, I opened a sample project, not one of the many that are mine, and it worked.  I had copy and past the code on the project and in a new, but it works.  Don't know how my projects I screwed up in the middle of work on them.

    Now, back to actually do the work.

  • Waiting for data on serial port

    Hello everyone.

    I'm trying to figure out how I can solve a problem on LabView. I programmed an Arduino board to read and send a data table of the accelerometer on the serial port. I want to LabView to receive the data and graphs it. My problem is that Arduino send data on an ongoing basis and sometimes LabView can not cope with traffic and read some values "0".

    Is it possible to wait for the data and solve this problem?

    I joined my current vi.

    Thank you much in advance.

    AndreasSchnaas wrote:

    Once again, thank you very much.

    Given that you send ASCII characters, change your Arduino code to send a character to end of line (10 byte value) at the end of each transmission.  Your code is already configured to use it.  Then you need not use the bytes to the Port at all.  Suffice to say the VISA of reading to read a large number of bytes.  Playback stops when it finds the stop character (value 10).  Your code will get a lot easier from there.
