• WALKMAN NWZ-S545 gives error cannot start (error 10) device in the Device Manager (and not driver for this device found)

  Under Xp (sp3), Device Manager gives me an error for a Walkman NWZ-S545.  XP sees it as a MTP device, but it does not start.  The Device Manager will give me 2 error messages: device will not start (code 10) not and no driver not found for this device.  The walkman works very well with my other machines on the LAN XP but naturally one that I run my media (a all my MP3 etc.) is the one that has the error.  All of my PC are almost identical (with the exception of the server, duh).  I changed USB ports, uninstalled/reinstalled drivers, called SONY to dozens of times, nothing works.  Is a service not started that must be, a driver damaged, what?  Thanks for your help in advance.

  Sony Walkman NWZ-E463 "one of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned and windows does not recognize it." It does not appear on my computer, I open Device Manager it shows as an "unknown device", and it does not load. When I use another Walkkman on the computer, it works fine very well. Conflicting drivers because we're a 4 GB model and the other is a 8 GB and require different drivers? I used both successfully in the past, why it suddenly does not work? • New Sony Walkman NWZ - M464 MM Player installs (to facilitate file transfer) software taskbar on my laptop. . Were wiped out my media files on PC

  Since last week, after installing the software MediaGo integrated into my new Media Player Digital Sony Walkman NWZ-E464 - which was to facilitate the transfer between the camera and the PC - I've known everything, but a transport seamless music and photos.  Allegedly, the software is designed to simplify the process by using just one application to streamline the effort.  However, my pictures, and my music are in chaos due to this element.

  I lost folders with hundreds of photo files in transfers.  Some are found on the Sony; the other disappeared fronm the laptop.  I have no idea why my Flip videos stills are in past in photos on the device files.   I found MP3 files in some of my document files.  It was last week when I thought that carrying the music from my PC to the Sony.  Now, Windows Media Player will not play CD I insert the optical disc; It does not recognize the artist or the 6 following the statement (I'm connected to the internet at the time).  Tear up or burn?  Out of the question.

  After that the unit stopped and stop in the middle of a transport of pictures, and Windows blinking a Code 43 "Windows does not recognize this legacy", I cleared any activity of this kind.  Occasionally my PC screen open these windows (without the trendy Sony) offer me to download codecs.  I searched for what seemed to be executable files (codecs).   I got a NWZ-A726 for about 3 years now and have really enjoyed. I had to replace the headphones twice now. The last time was about 2 weeks ago. I replaced the with the same ones who came with them when I bought it new(MDR-EX082) both times. I also ordered a pair of headphones MDR-EX085 to compare the noise and as an extra pair. Now the problem is that the sound quality is not as good, with a pair, as it was before the old buds shorted. I even tried the buds of my wife and my daughter buds and all 4 sets of buds are the same. The bass is not deep at all, in fact, there is little agreement even bass. Then with the volume up when the sound level is trying to he started down. I tried to go back to factory settings and tried the reset button at the back where you will need to use a PIN to push. Has anyone else had this problem? I would just buy a new, but they are discontinued. I've been looking around but can't find one anywhere. Anyone who has ever used and compared with the new NWZ-S545? It has the same low sound quality like the NWZ-A726 older? If man is not an easy solution and the NWZ-S545 can give the same sound quality, I can simply get one of them.

• iTunes 12 sound does not work with ac3 passthrough

  I have an Intel DX79/Xeon 2, CPU 0GHa with a NVidia GTX680 graphics card.

  I use an HDMI output directly to a Denon surround amplifier. Everything had been working well for a few years but recently I reinstalled Windows 8.1 and I found the passage of in surround AC3 stopped working with iTunes.  Movies of the source that I use have 5.1 channels and used to work.  Nothing the silence I fear when "Prefer AC3" is now selected.   The material has not changed - just a re-installation of Windows with the latest version of iTunes 8.1 and NVidia version 359.06.  The installation is completely vanilla flavored outside these two packages being installed.

  So, I added PowerDVD and tested with a couple of BluRay discs.

  PowerDVD works well with AC3 pass by - the problem seems to be limited to iTunes.  Stereo mode in iTunes works fine.  I tried the "Old video card" version iTunes without success and I tried without downgrading the video version card / audio driver for NVidia 344.75 (a version I know that used to work for about a year back) all to nothing does not).  I also tried version 12 iTunes and encountered exactly the same problem. I think that maybe iTunes and the driver NVidia do not play well together.  All the world is this problem?  I tried to contact Apple support, but it generates an error with a hexadecimal error code large enough and said "try again later...". ', Useful suggestions are welcome!

  With Rhapsody 4 client open, click the file tab in the upper left corner.  Select Add data to my library.

  Check the box Scan for videos in this folder, and then enter the path to your video files.

  If the files are from a DVD, VOB files must first be 'cleaned' by an application like DVD Decrypter.  Of course, these are DVDs in your collection.  Also inexpensive that DVDs are, of course I have a copy of the movies I like.  I myself remember days of movies $ 90 in format VHS-we have come a long way.

  I've personally not played with R4 client and import VOB format yet.  If this does not work, simply download AnyVideoConverter to convert the MPEG2 file or avi for Rhapsody to have a race.  I always ran that from the CMS for most video DVDs without problem.

  Once the files are imported, you just drag and drop to your Sansa then it is connected and available on Rhapsody customer's screen.  Drag the videos.  It is slower than the SMC, of course.  Rhapsody send avi files for playback on the "rocket".

  I hope that this puts you on the right track!

  Oh, and if you mean by your highlight support RealNetworks, good luck with that.  They need a lesson by the folks at SanDisk.

• New and strange problem with Rhapsody to go on my Sansa Fuze

  Have a Fuze with 8GB micro SD 8 GB card inside and use for a long time without any problem with Rhapsody. Recently, I had not synchronized for a long time and got the message to play the tracks of my subscription, I need to sync with Rhapsody. So I don't tell me, no problem, and I do. The synchronization works very well and I get the message Rhapsody, it's reading the tracks on my Sansa and I get the message that it updates the internal memory on my Sansa.   Ah, I leave you with the secret handshake to reset the secure clock.  Normally, this is done in this last step, when you transfer a track to the device.

  Open the client Rhapsody 4 and plug your rocket.

  Now for the tricky part.  Crack the knuckles and fingers ready.  Press and hold the [CTRL] + [SHIFT], then right-click on the "rocket" in the Sources pane.

  There you go.  Select Reset secure clock.

  See if the device is now happy.

  If all else fails, use the Format command on the "rocket", which will erase all media device, and then start over by allowing first and transfer some test tracks.

  My theory is that something is wrong with your secure clock...  Let me know how it goes!

• Sansa Fuze does not work with the Xbox 360?

  I know that the console is capable of playing a MP3 player through it, I could do my job as Creative Zen. I don't understan why it does not work with the "rocket", the interface looks more simple on the surface of things. And I'm sure it doesn't because I don't have a HARD drive for my Xbox, it was working fine before.

  The reson I am, I wanted to know because I wanted to know the other ways of playing my rocket while listening. the kool on my expirimentation thing is I found that the Xbox will charge my rocket when it is off and I can listen at the same time. I also found that my Playstaion 2 will work also in this copacity all-in-on.

  Basically the Auto setting works well with the XBox.  Select settings > USBMode > MTP or MSC.

  With PSG, you can even play content protected by DRM rockets (IE Rhapsody) on Xbox.

  There was a bug fixed with rhapsody in the latest firmware. format the device by using the settings menu, upgrade to the latest firmware using the post at the top of this map and reload your content.
