I used the CD provided and managed to instal want 4520 successfully.  I note however for the digitization of the device and the printer control panel, Envy 4500 has been "removed" but not deleted.  It seems that I must reinstal 4500 want next time I want to use it.  Is there a better solution?  They both cannot exist under another printer?

  In theory, the two must be able to exist together.

  Just that alone can be the default printer and if you want to print from another printer, you must select specifically in some software/applications that you use.

  Suggest that you uninstall and reinstall each one printer at a time again.

  First select a printer, select win 10 OS download/install the FULL features software, then repeat with the 2nd printer. Note that the 2nd printer will "Default" (since it is the most recent must be installed)

  I tried variuos suggestions and made the analysis as suggested to correct any errors, but has not fixed the problem, but then I went back to my first idea and saved as a PDF file that prints ok.

  the problem is not fixed, but I am happy to use the workaround PDF that I have no more time to keep trying solutions, but the workaround is acceptable.

  I use a version of word to edit and save a PDF copy to print - it's ok I know it will work

  You will need to find a forum for MS Word, since it is the software you are trying to manipulate in the present.  If you think that the treatment/creation of the PDF file plays a role, then you should ask in the forum for the software that you use to create the PDF file.

  Hi Brice, Yes, you will need to change this setting in all reports if you do not want to see the dashes.

  There is no risk of a dash is inserted in the comic book.  The DB updates and insertions are managed by your forms (or process) a report will only display data.

  Go to the workshop of SQL and query your tables to validate what I say.

• I want to insert a page in Acrobat XI, but I don't want the Page thumbnails to display

  I find that my editing of document becomes more complicated when I insert a page, because Show Page thumbnails. This new feature throws me because I can not navigate via the open tiles with arrow keys (I can work around this by pressing the right arrow key, then enter, but it is very annoying).

  To compound my problem, when I want to insert a document before the page is displayed on the screen, it sometimes does not work because there is another page selected in the thumbnail of the Page, I can understand if I deliberately choose the page in the thumbnail of the Page, but I navigate through the pages directly, so I find myself insert documents before the wrong page.

  Unfortunately, I can not simply dismiss the pane with the ESC key. I have to click on in the pane thumbnail to make it disappear, which takes the time I spend my hands on the keyboard to the mouse. If I could just prevent thumbnails Page to display in the first place, I would be able to accomplish my tasks much more quickly.

  This is the default and not configurable behavior by the end user.

  Perhaps a future update or the next version will address this (or maybe not).

  If you don't have, can you download and install the software COMPLETE features of HP printing for your operating system:

  Once you have downloaded and installed the software, FULL of features, you will be able to print and scan.

  Start the scanning software and follow the steps belowto (for example) to change the resolution.

  Just got my brand new HP Envy 4520 spankine yesterday, had set up, connected wireless, etc. This morning tried sending pictures to print from my iPhone - cool way. Works. Fabulously. Except that each photo comes in full page (8.5 x 11) without borders. What happens if I want to is it smaller? No apparent way to perform alternative sizing in the send-to-print-directly-from-phone process. Am I wrong? No question? Or is it? I guess that the obvious workaround is to edit the photo on the screen on my desktop before printing, but it's a lot more work.

  Apple AirPrint do not provide such control and print an image as it is good without control.

  Recently, my 4520 began to print red only when I want to print in black. I get around this by removing the color cartridge. However, it is not a good solution. As part of the copy of the screen, I select 'Black Start' when you make a copy. This does not resolve the situation.

  I'd love to help you with your urge for 4520. According to your description, I understand that the printer will not print black when you have both cartridges installed, and instead, it prints red.
